I forgot to take pictures, but it was quite nice and the service attitude was also very good. It was a small town on the way back to Munich from Hanover. It was very medieval and had a unique flavor at night.

Nice hotel in center of coburg

I've been here many times. The breakfast is very good. The rooms are OK except the furniture that looks like an horror movie from the '70s. In some rooms the WiFi has very weak signal and in general it's not fast.

A good hotel in good location. Breakfast was not included in price but is optional. The Canadian exchange rate made it a little pricey for the cost of breakfast if you are a light eater. Plenty of coffee and pastry bistros within a 2min walk in the square is a cheaper option. Overall room was very nice, staff helpful and nice hotel, great location and quiet area.

I have stayed at this hotel twice on business and it is the most satisfying hotel in Germany. The view from the top floor windows is fantastic. The staff is friendly and the service is excellent, as well as the quality of the breakfast. Most importantly, the refrigerator and free minibar are a big help for me. Great spa hotel with the BEST breakfast buffet EVER!! The spa was also great. Nothing like leaving your room in a bathrobe and walking to a HUGE spa with everything you need. The only downside is the bar. It is VERY small and understaffed.

Alles im allem kann ich es nur empfehlen. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Typisch fränkisch :-). Reichhaltiges Frühstück, gute Küche, leckeres Bier. Einzig für mich war es etwas vom Nachteil am Berg zu wohnen, da ich vor dem Frühstück gerne eine Runde joggen gehe. War aber nicht schlimm, dann ist die Runde etwas kürzer ausgefallen.

The ambience fits. You can tell that the country inn doesn't want to be a typical Franconian restaurant, which you can also tell when eating. Unfortunately the quality of the food varies depending on how busy it is as there is only one waiter and one chef. In summer you can relax in the garden with a beer. All in all well worth a visit.

The food (lunch on Sunday) was delicious. Very well seasoned sauces, tender meat, decent portions, fast friendly service and fair prices. The only downside: the very cool-looking light unfortunately creates an uninviting atmosphere in the otherwise beautiful and renovated guest rooms. Maybe exchange a few new LED bulbs with warm light for the old energy-saving bulbs and there will be 5 stars.

Very good home cooking, you can't complain. The portions are more than sufficient. The service area should be rated with 6 stars. Street food or food to order and collection is also great. Delicious Franconian food and even for vegetarians there is always at least 1 dish on the menu, which is not the case in most traditional restaurants. Even when it was busy, the waitresses were always friendly and courteous and even the toilet area is modern and clean.

Were there with a biker group. The rooms are simple, but perfectly adequate and very clean and tidy. In terms of price, you absolutely cannot complain. The owner is really interested in the well-being of his guests and tries to make a lot possible. Food (half board) was excellent. Very relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. Super nice area. Our stay was very nice, you feel welcome and you get everything you need. Our highlight (besides the great host) was the shoe dryer :). The room was clean and comfortable enough, local tips were free, and breakfast was a great way to start the day. So saying goodbye to the Thuringian Forest was a bit difficult, but the memory is saved. So, the bottom line: you can stay well there.

The property was very clean. The breakfast was tasty and well presented. Even though the water in the room was not hot, I would reccomend this hotel to other solo travelers.

The stay was excellent and breakfast plentiful and enjoyable It is a short 20 minutes walk into town which is just as well because in the heat or rain it is all but impossible to order a taxi even though the hotel staff tried their best. The only criticism of the hotel is that although I did not want my sheets changed daily, I would have at least wanted the bed made each day.

The Ringberghotel high above Suhl is an impressive building, worth a visit just for its open location! Panoramic views, clean and functional rooms. The food tasted great, the service was friendly and polite. Despite the Corona requirements, the guest feels comfortable and is happy to return!

Very convenient location, city center, easy to get to. I can only rate the restaurant. Waiting time was 30 minutes (full restaurant) and the menu is very small but nice. You can get your money's worth here. The food is in the average price range (10-20 €). The food was served warm and nicely presented. It was very tasty and you get full here. Suhl sounds like a good name for an evil wizard. The best hotel stay I've had in ages. Nothing fancy, but everything just worked as it should. You need your chip to work the lift. That slowed me down a minute but i am not a smart man.

Young boy, I am stranded here because I had a flat tire. Price performance is okay but not great. I don't know when my bathroom mirror was last cleaned in my room, but maybe too high standards for you who knows. When you took a shower there were still any names on the mirror that you could see about the condensation / steam that of course makes me think how clean the rest is ... One should definitely...

Went to Suhl to research my famìly history All the staff at hotel and townhall and Church where every helpful. Hotel had recent upgrades and good rooms . The rooms all have working air conditioners which seems rare in Europe. I would recommend this hotel .

Lovely castle hotel with very friendly and warm service. The rooms and bathrooms are large. In the bathroom they have nice amenities: cotton balls, cotton swabs, hair dryer etc. the castle grounds have a playground for children, archery, and volleyball.
