Where to stay in Daun

Stayed in the Comfort Suite which is very spacious and nice. Overall great facilities for families with large pool, sauna, gym, adventure playground, minigolf etc. Staff is very helpful and polite. Unfortunately food is average at best, both at the breakfast buffet as well as in the evening. Stay at this place for the facilities but do eat outside. Overall good value for money.

It was a wonderful choice to enjoy the beauty of Autumn. We really enjoyed our stay in the cozy and nice delux room with a beautiful view to the graden. The hotel's location is great with some extremely beautiful short trail roads around the property and also not far from the lovely Heimatspur MaareGlück hiking path. Great place to stay,walk dogs and you can see a deer. Went on a walk nearby and came across some friendly goats.

Room was superior (deluxe room), only the bathroom could be better. A normal shower instead of a bath/shower combination. Food was good. The cocktails were great. Location is really good!

Loved my large studio and the elaborate breakfast buffet. Personnel was super-friendly and the hotel is located at the end of a street in a quiet natural area. So why the three stars? The evening buffet was mediocre and WiFI (important to me as I work on the road) was on and off.

Great location with a view of nature, excellent cuisine and the best service I've had in a long time. Absolutely to be recommended! And the maars nearby are definitely worth a visit.

We only had drinks here and the waitress was very kind and friendly. The scenery around the hotel is quite relaxing and beautiful.

Breakfast was amazing and the staff was very nice. We got a corner room with no view though so we didn't feel like we really got the experience.

Nice 4* hotel with friendly staff and great spa & welness

Very nice! Immaculate!

This is a beautiful hotel, completely tranquil and relaxing. We had a half board deal and were served a delicious four course meal each evening. It was excellent value for money. There's quite a small swimming pool but it was never crowded when we were there. We also used the sauna and jacuzzi. The scenery is stunning.

A really cute small hotel, with a nice restaurant with terrace. Good food, typical German kitchen... and typical German portions 😉. The personnel is really friendly. Location is perfect, next to the lake (maar) and to the main cycling trails. Price is ok.

Lovely hotel! This was the best possible hotel my wife could have organized for our Easter trip in the Eifel. We spend there 4 nights. For a 3-star hotel, it offers a standard a lot of luxury hotels should learn from. The personnel at this hotel were very attentive, helpful and friendly. They made our stay enjoyable and easy. The rooms are very outdated, but they provide everything you need. The cleanliness could have been a bit better, but it wasn't awful. In the restaurant, Maar y Sol, there is a room for smokers, which I found very strange. The service here was really great I found. The only problem was that the restaurant is disturbingly full of flies. Food and room was fine, nothing to write give about but comfortable enough.

Food was good. But service poor and slow. It took them 15 minutes and me waving my hand before they even took my order for a glas of water, and finally bring me the menu for food. Service people were clearly not overworked but simply appeared not to be interested in servicing their customers seated inside.

Stayed in a timber wagon (Schaeffer wagon) for one night, with friends. Atmosphere was great, breakfast included was great. Town was sleepy, pretty, very green, quiet. Had amazing dinner of traditional German food with local game (some nice veg options, too)
