Where to stay in Dessau

Ok, not for long accommodation, rooms and path rooms are less than ordinary, nice reception and restaurant stuff specially the Indian stuff in the restaurant unfortunately I didn't know their names.

The Hotel themselve had its glorious times already, unfortunately you directly feel this. There is nearly no invest to keep the previous standards as well as no activities to improve the current situation. The carpets as well as curtains are worn out. The rooms are aged and the time gnaws on the furniture as well... The staff was all time very friendly and supportively, arrivals while midnight no problem...

It is a nice place to stay. The rooms an nice and big. The food is great too. Unfortunately, there a some problems: The outdoor plants are overgrown, the roof terrace was really bad. The health center was closed. Still the hotel was a nice place for the business meeting. It was good hotel.

Nice hotel. Large rooms and nice service. It seems that the hotel needs a little maintenance (air conditioner for ex) , but it was not a real issue for me.

Everything is allright. The location is good but near the noisy highway. The staff should stop pretending that the Hotel is fully booked when it is not. Beds are good.

Good location, nice, clean and spacious rooms. There is a nice spa and rooftop on the top floor. Reception is a bit slow but helpful in all the questions we had about dessau.

Thank you, dear Herzog family. We felt very comfortable with you. The bungalows and the whole area are very quiet, well-kept and beautifully designed. In the houses you can really find everything you need for a stay. The booking was completely uncomplicated, the area is very nice. We can only recommend the Fürstenhäuschen am Luisium and would love to come back.

Ideal starting point to explore Dessau and the surrounding area. The Wörlitzer Park can be reached via the cycle path network or by bus. It is also only 4 km to the Bauhaus. The houses offer everything you need. In addition, very friendly landlord. What more do you want.

Clean hotel at an excellent location in Dessau, right across the Bauhaus Master Houses. You have to walk up two sets of stairs, there is no elevator. The 7 Säulen is conveniently located opposite of the Meisterhäuser of Gropius, Kandinsky and Klee in a very quiet and green area of Dessau. The breakfast buffet was very good with lots of choices. Nice small hotel right next to the famous Meisterhäuser of the Bauhaus-era. Employees make your feel at home.

For business trip only optional, not ideal. The walls were paper thin. Heat regulation was not allowed. Low quality and restricted number of toiletries. Warm water supply was not constant, on one night there was no warm water. All around the restaurant there was cigarette smoke smell. The room was clean, there is enought parking lot. The staff was kind. Creditcard payment went well.

Great place to stay in Dessau! I love the quiet, safe and surroundings. Walkable, great shopping, lots of good restaurants etc.

Has everything you need. But for American standards it's missing AC. And a 24 hour vending machine would have been nice. But everything else is good.

Super nice family running a fantastic hostel. Homely furnished rooms, typical German simple breakfast. We are happy to help with a city map and tips for the best cycle route. There is WiFi in the rooms and requests are catered for. Would and will always go there again in Dessau.

Great little find in Dessau. I had a big double room with additional double sofa bed, very comfortable, clean and quiet. The bathroom was nice and had everything we needed and more with towels and toiletries provided. Breakfast was very good and plentiful, rolls, bread, juice, cold meats, cheese, egg, fruit, jam and honey plus a big pot of coffee. Far more than we could eat. The owner was very friendly...

Nice building near the Elbe. I passed here on a walk. Looks nice and is close to the better known Kornhaus.

The Elbe Pavilion is located directly on the Elbe, not far from the Kornhaus, at the end of the Georgengarten. Prince Franz von Anhalt-Dessau had it built. It was used for flood protection. Today the pavilion can be rented for overnight stays and offers space for 2 people

Lovely tower with interesting history. Just imagine those people watching the Elbe waters rising and flooding. Lovely woord area on several bike tracks through Dessau and its environments

The room was clean, the beds very soft 😅, the toilet was also clean, I wasn't so happy with the shower. In the morning, 7 a.m., you are woken up by the ringing of bells🥱 Parking fee 6 euros, half would do it too. All in all, with small drawbacks, recommendable. I think we'll be back 😊

In retrospect, I upgraded from 0 to 4 stars. Yes, the room is small (double bed), yes, there is no elevator, yes, the shower / toilet is in the hallway, but everything was clean (including TV remote control), there was enough parking space and everything was uncomplicated. I arrived around 1:30 a.m. after too long a shift, showered and slept well and was able to leave at 6 a.m. without any problems...
