Brand new hotel, very friendly service. Rooms fine, as one would expect from this type of hotel. No irons or ironing boards in the room but I guess possible to get from reception. Location is not central at all, perhaps 30 min walk to the center. But close to Siemens for those who travel there. Some places to get a dinner around but not much of a choice. The most dissapointing is breakfast. It has all the items, but this being Germany, one expects a great hotel.

BED Bugs!!!
I have stayed more than 5 times in the hotel due to work but what I experienced last night is unforgettable in a bad way. I am still traumatized and have psychological itchiness due to the incident. The room was 140…so be AWARE.
The location is perfect for me but the service could be better more active about my incident and I don’t have to explain why the room I rated 1 star.

Since this place is under new management (holiday inn) it has really gone down hill. The new management lacks attention to detail and the housekeeping appears to be in chaos. Two times in the last eight weeks I have stayed here and BOTH times I stayed in a room with bed bugs. The first time i only saw the red dots the second time i saw the actual bugs. I am not coming back- even though it's the most convenient hotel to the office in erlangen.

The rooms are small and cozy, the beds are comfortable however the pillows are way too large. The showers are walk-in, however there is only a little glass wall to stop the water from splashing all over the bathroom floor. The water pressure is pretty low.

This hotel is perfect for what it is. A place to sleep that is great price value.
The beds are comfy and the rooms are clean. The bathroom is spacious.
The only downside is that they don’t have family rooms so if you are a family then you’ll have to take two rooms

"The Niu " seems to be a new brand within IHG.
The room appears lightful and fresh and is clean and well equipped. I also like the color concept and the open space work area in the lobby. However, there was no working desk found in the room. That would have been wishful as I am usually doing some work late at night or early in the morning.
The staff was very helpful and friendly!
The lowlights started for me the breakfast area, which was due to less space completely overcrowded.
In general, the hotel was a nice place to stay. But, it might have to do with the upcoming eurocup, but the price paid was with ~250€ (including carpark) far too high.
There, bottomline a good but overpriced hotel.

A good modern hotel, conveniently located in 20 minutes walk from the downtown and just a couple of hundred meters from the S-bahn station, in Siemens campus. Friendly and helpful personnel. Rooms are equipped with tiny kitchens, which is a good bonus. There are few supermarkets nearby, bakery downstairs and a couple of restaurants across the street.

The hotel is nice but not cheap. The rooms are small but clean and modern. If you wanna work a bit in the hotel, better use the lobby with the nice bar, the rooms don't really have a table big enough for a laptop and some notes.

There were no working area (any desk where you could comfortably work with laptop) in my room. So consider this if you are traveling on business and need working place in the room. Also consider that chipper rooms might have windows oriented to the road, which might be an issue due to noise (if you like to stay with open window). Other things without significant comments
