the niu Cure

This hotel is perfect for what it is. A place to sleep that is great price value.
The beds are comfy and the rooms are clean. The bathroom is spacious.
The only downside is that they don’t have family rooms so if you are a family then you’ll have to take two rooms

A good modern hotel, conveniently located in 20 minutes walk from the downtown and just a couple of hundred meters from the S-bahn station, in Siemens campus. Friendly and helpful personnel. Rooms are equipped with tiny kitchens, which is a good bonus. There are few supermarkets nearby, bakery downstairs and a couple of restaurants across the street.

The hotel is nice but not cheap. The rooms are small but clean and modern. If you wanna work a bit in the hotel, better use the lobby with the nice bar, the rooms don't really have a table big enough for a laptop and some notes.

There were no working area (any desk where you could comfortably work with laptop) in my room. So consider this if you are traveling on business and need working place in the room. Also consider that chipper rooms might have windows oriented to the road, which might be an issue due to noise (if you like to stay with open window). Other things without significant comments

Ideal for short stays, close proximity to Siemens complex, about 25 mins walk from historical part of the city. A grocery store is open till 8 pm nearby. Great breakfast with wide variety. The only thing missing was a desk, which is handy on a business trip. Good value for money, welcoming and attentive staff, parking available for 15€ per day.

Overall excellent experience.

Dislikes: AC is always on automatic mode which is awful sometimes, almost same menu in breakfast buffet

As a group of runners from all over the world (over 50 countries, 80 cities), we were welcomed warm at the NIU Cure in Erlangen by Hotel Staff Melissa, Andi, Steve, Lukas, Mindy and all others that were on shift for these 2 weeks that we were staying. Huge shout out to these individuals, as they made us feel like at home and were tirelessly at 100% to make our stay the best possible.
As for the amenities:
The Hotel Bar was a huge advantage for us to come together and enjoy a drink after a long day or working from the lobby was also very easy as there were quiet spots while being in company of other guests around.
Much liked by our runners was also the colorful, diverse breakfast buffet, the comfy beds in the rooms and the overall cleanliness in the Hotel that we all always noticed.
To wrap it up:
Our different cultures were well understood, and all guests felt very comfortable for the whole stay. We as event organizers only heard positive feedback and will definitely seek more opportunities to host events where the NIU Cure in Erlangen can be our Hotel of choice in the future.
