Where to stay in Fischbachau

We were warmly welcomed by our host. The room was spacious and well equipped with a nice view on the garden. The gasthaus is clean and decorated in an authentic Bavarian way. It is located in a beautiful area, where different leisure activities are easily accessible.

The breakfast was amazing as was the area for the guest's use. The owner was lovely and despite our lack of German she did her best to communicate with us. She was generally lovely and welcoming. Our children were able to use the outdoor area including the trampoline. The fact that it is so near a train station also means that if like us you are travelling by train, it is perfect. We were passing through and were able to drive the camper to the farm even late in the evening. Super nice operator, toilets very clean, a welcoming place and highly recommended!

It is wonderful to arrive at Gasthaus Sonnenkaiser in Fischenbachau. Very friendly employees. Cozy, very well maintained and clean room/bathroom. A beautiful view from the balcony. A small day / menu card but enough choice. A simple/good breakfast. Enough kaffee, no cappuccino Definitely a place to remember and come back to.

Were there with the camper and received a nice welcome. €5 a night plus €5 for the electricity is really great, even if you stand at an angle. We went to eat in the tavern, it was really tasty and the service was very attentive!

Great yard, beautiful location and super nice hosts! The breakfast is delicious, everything is clean and tidy. From the farm you can get anywhere within half an hour: Tegernsee, Schliersee, Rosenheim, Chiemsee ... A great experience for children and there are many animals to discover. Really a great farm with lovely people and animals ❣️

Vacation in the Bavarian mountains is slightly nice, even more nice it is you stay at this beautiful place. The host are amazing, rooms clean and the breakfast was great.

Die Lage des Koglhof´s ist abgeschieden und man kann richtig Ruhe finden. Die Fewo war geräumig, hatte einen kleinen Balkon Richtung Sonnenaufgang, auf dem man sehr schön frühstücken konnte. Die Küche hatte alles was man benötigt. Das Schlafzimmer war groß genug. Das Bad hatte eine Dusche, Toilette und Waschbecken. Die Dusche war klasse. Really cool, you can ride your bike in all directions, the apartment is well-kept and modernly equipped, there is a washing machine and dryer, breakfast is served every morning.

Beautiful, lovingly tended courtyard in a beautiful location with a fantastic view. We enjoyed our vacation very much, there are numerous leisure activities in the area. We would love to come back!

Martin is amazing and went out of his way to try help me, and was nice to be greeted with a friendly smile always. my room was amazingly clean and comfortable, an amazing shower.

Gastehaus Hubertus is a fantastic place to stay. The owner Mr Martin is a great man that makes you feel like your are visiting a good friend. Rooms are comfortable, breakfast is made of fresh and tasty ingredients. And there is a lot of German cold beer that is availible anytime you need :) I absolutely recommend this place and would love to come back again!

It was a really nice hotel, cosy and Bavarian. The breakfast was good and diverse. You just need to keep in mind, that the reception is not covered 24/7. If you want to check in during times the reception is not covered, you need to make sure to communicate that upfront.

The staff are so nice and helpful. The view is spectacular. There’s a sauna, which is amazing at the end of the day. Worked from there, the wifi was reliable. Would recommend for a weekend alone to connect to yourself or to work or to go with friends or family. Great place for kids.

Very good hotel at an amazing location! The hotel is located at a high altitude which is approached via a cable car...making the experience even more fun. The view of the Schliersee and the neighbouring peaks and valleys is spectacular from up here. The hotel in itself is very nice, spacious and clean rooms with good amenities. Very nice location. You can have a nice view of the mountains n schilersee. Food was good and super reasonably prices. You havr to rrach hotel either eith cable car or walking. Cable car for duration of stay is included in your cost. Very nice staffs. Highly recommended for people who want peaceful gateaway.

Went up the cable car for the stunning view of the lake and surrounding mountains while enjoying a beer or two in the sun. The cable car is badly organized and you have to wait a long time for it when busy. You can walk up instead, if steep hills are your thing. You can take the luge carts back down for fun, but there was even a 25 minute wait for that! Food and drink prices are reasonable in the biergarten...

You come here for the views. The spot is very popular for families as it is an easy hike to the top and there is plenty of entertainment for the little ones with a playground and a roller-coaster. The food is decent. In summer the hotel restaurant is open, which is great. Out of season the beirgarten offers good prices and decent selection. After enjoying the spectacular views you can take the rodelbahn...

Beautiful scenery especially in the winter time. Myself and my group walked/hiked along the roads up to the hotel. We stayed for an hour and had drinks and typical German food then took the cable cart back down. Everything was beautiful!

We were (unfortunately) only one night in Quartier am Schliersee, as we were cycling and had to continue the next day. We were on the road for a total of almost 2 weeks and nowhere else did we have such a beautiful room as here. A fantastic view, everything beautiful, tastefully and newly furnished and a very friendly operator who takes care of everything. Special mention should be made of the sauna...

Super nice room, very clean, delicious breakfast, landlords always ready for a chat. All in all very nice. Mr. Markhauser had information about restaurants, hikes or other interesting things.

A great stop on our way south. The location is excellent, very near the lake. The room was very spacious (we received an upgrade), clean and outlooking the lake. Breakfast was very good. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was very good!

We had such an amazing time here! Won a 7 night stay at a Karma hotel of choice during our holidays in Bali. Great location with easy access to hiking routes, fantastic service, and delicious food from their restaurant (we had Indian food twice, they have a rotating menu).

Perfect destination for family vaction. A 4 star resort with indoor pool, spa, and Gym. One can have a great time in and around the resort.. Rooms are neat,clean, comfortable and spacious with kitchenette and other amenities..

Arriving to the hotel, there was no one at the front desk to greet us and we noticed this was often the case when walking in and out of the hotel, on one occasion there were a few staff members smoking out the front of the hotel. Jannat. Natural beauty at its very best. Lots to do if you're into treks and enjoying the outdoors. Local People are very friendly and helpful. Most of them speak English quite well. I can't recommend this hotel enough. The staff are just amazing. They can't do enough for you and always with a smile. Nothing is too much effort. The food has been delicious every night, my partner and I have eaten at the hotel 5 nights out of 6 so far with wine and had two lots of laundry done and it's still not over £256. A fabulous hotel, the spa / pool were excellent. Staff team very helpful. The room we had was like an apartment, the kitchenette was super helpful as we were on a budget and wanted to be able to cook our own food at times. The town is stunning there are over 51 hikes we found about nearby. Really lovely place.
