Great location for an in between stop when you want to go skiing, cute hotel on the inside with a nice breakfast and diner.
Peaceful, kinda cosy and convenient. Breakfast, though a little savoury heavy, was good enough. No lift. We arrived close to 21:00, when their kitchen closes. Couldn't tell if they were being helpful or making us choose certain things. Either way, the food and beer were good and went down well.
I really liked the restaurant, because the ambience was really nice and the food tasted very good! The waiters were much nice to me and it didn't cost too much.
We were made to feel very welcome. They changed rooms for us with no problem as we decided preferred a balcony. The front desk and restaurant were very helpful and accommodating. The housekeepers were some of the sweetest women I have ever met. We were there because my brother was in the hospital in Rosenheim and the ladies were very caring and loving. Overall a very lovely hotel to stay!

A charming guest house. We arrived late after check in and the room key was left in an envelope with my family name on at reception. Good communication beforehand. The room was perfect for an overnight stay. Clean and functional. The decor in the bathroom was a little dated, but the room and bathroom were clean so that doesn't matter to us. We paid a good price and had a pleasant stay. Very happy...

I loved everything (reception, spa, cat, my peace and relaxation) until I encountered the waiter with no hair.
On 2 occasions I saw and heard him treat other staff rude and speak down to them - in front of guests!!! That’s a NO-GO.
It made me feel so uncomfortable, that all relaxations from the sauna and my appetite were gone again.
Sorry, you have to find new staff that’s not ruining the vibe for...

I was there for lunch and very much enjoyed it. The location and view from the terrace is great. The service was a bit slow, but made up for it with good service. Food was great, I had the best bacon ever!
I've only eaten at the restaurant on site. The views and the food are worth the drive up. I always order the Käsespätzle ,which is the best I've ever eaten. Be sure to take the short hike up the waterfall (where the name of the hotel comes from). It's a beauty!

Wunderschöner Biobauernhof mit Milchkühen,
2 Hasen, Hühnern, 2 Katzen.
Sehr freundliche, umgängliche und unaufdringliche Gastgeber.
Der ganze Hof inkl. Stallanlagen, Kräutergarten durfte „erobert“ werden. Für die Kinder ein Traum.
Alles sehr ruhig und idyllisch. Nachts waren nur die Grillen zu hören, tagsüber war das lauteste das Muhen der Kühe.
Die Wohnung ist komplett neu renoviert, toll eingerichtet...

The hotel is cute, cosy and with good food. The village is very nice…mountain views, close-by lakes, and views like this.
A great hotel with friendly staff, nice and clean rooms and an really excellent restaurant. Our family has visited and revisited multiple times for many years.
Also has their own butchery and bikes (some electric) to borrow to explore the area. Dog friendly.

Very nice host family. Rooms with a balcony offer everything you need. Extremely good cuisine, fresh products from the region are freshly prepared. Breakfast ok, everything is replenished immediately. Only the location on the road from Oberaudorf towards Rosenheim is not advantageous for the rooms facing the front.
Definitely a quite expensive hotel, but if you consider the great wellness-section and the extraordinary breakfast as well as the short distance to the ski-lift it is definitely worth the price. Sometimes, however, I got the impression that the waiters working at the restaurant had some difficulties to cope with getting the tables cleaned up.

Very hospitable. Great rooms, great breakfast, great playground for the little ones. There are little things to complain about everywhere. Still 5 stars.
Really all very friendly. We found a great place with 4 children. Very lovingly furnished and equipped with many chic and nice details. Nice little playground in front of the terrace. The breakfast service in the room is really great. Breakfast can be booked simply and easily via the app and is very, very tasty!
As soon as we arrived we were greeted very nicely and it went on like this. No matter where we were, entrance to the pension or breakfast room, you always got a smile and was welcomed nicely. At breakfast there was always fresh fruit, rolls and bread. Whether cheese, sausage or egg, everything tasted just good. The rooms were lovingly furnished and you feel right at home. Great location in proximity of two big ski resorts one located in Germany, 30 min. by car, second 40 min. by car in Austria. Nice, clean and quite place, suitable for families but not only.
The staff greeted us in the most friendly and helpful way i have ever encountered. The amenities are just wonderful and we absolutely loved the sauna. Mr E and Mrs F have just been the most friendly people and incredibly hospitable. Thank you for the beautiful stay. Definitely recommend!
The staff, the comfort, the views, the functionality..... ehat a happy place! Ppol indoors, playgrounds, underground parking, but the fabulous facilities for families is all om the list. Great value!

The staff was very nice to us. Room was beautiful with balcony and view to the mountains. We liked the wooden equipment very much. It was very cozy. But the best was breakfast - to big and tasty for two people to make it without consequences later on the ski. 😁
Good place to stay for a night while travelling. Spacious, clean, comfy rooms with balcony, big bathrooms.

Friendly, warm and delicious. Been here twice and highly recommend the Züri Geschnetzeltes with a Glas of Riesling. The place is the perfect, leissurly blend between Wirtshaus and Fine Dining. The Austro-Bavarian style is seldomly presented so well.
My favourite restaurant,with the finest foods, lovingly prepared. Consistently good! Excellent service! Delightful every day!
A small but very nice restaurant/hotel. The food is really good, but a little on the pricey side 16 - 22 euros pp for a main dish. But still I keep coming back to Bernards. Two thumbs up!
On our way back to Denmark from Zell am see, we had dinner at Bernard's. We had no reservations for table, but in this area, (south Germany - north Austria) you can easily get 2 seats at a bigger table, together with other people even if it's a high class restaurant. We had the most lovely food - I myself took the plate: 3 various fish from the lokal see, and normally not being so fond of desserts...

Deserves 5 star rate for such 4 stars hotel. Super friendly staff, decent and clean room, very nice international breakfast with plenty of options. The regular restaurant also delicious. The gym is simple, not modern. The swimming pool is fancy, and includes nice sauna and massage chairs. I’ve been there with kids (playground area indoor and outdoor), it was a worth weekend. It is around 12 min walking...
