Perfect family hotel with indoor and outdoor facilities in a relaxing environment. Very clean and cosy. Personnel always smiling and helpful. The food is of very high quality and the surroundings need no introduction, it's the famous Black Forest after all.

As the hotel of our choice was fully booked we requested a referral and luckily we were directed to Hotel Ludinmühle. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt papmpered from the first moment. Nice quiet hotel and restaurant. Great hospitality by the owners. Rooms are clean, bathroom/shower were practically new. Rooms are comfortably furnished. The restaurant was outstanding. Remarkable was the attentive waitress who really understood her craft! fast. Honestly friendly and cheerful. We will come back here for sure!

Great house with warm and uncomplicated service. We have been coming here with our 2 dogs for over 10 years and have never been disappointed. Kitchen 1A... good, clear menu... never had anything to complain about here either!

Excellent stay with kids, great little playground super kind and lovely staff and wonderful local food. Location is great for going into the nearby villages while still enjoying landscape, mountains etc. Looks like a fairy tale in the snow!

The rooms are modern, very clean and have everything one needs. There was a desk with two chairs, a closet and even a small balcony. The staff was extremely friendly and we were able to work in the newly created open work space. Breakfast is decent, not huge but nice options and everything was tasty.

Rooms are OK but the one I had was not as big, the bed was broken and make noise. Breakfast was very good. The bathroom was very spacious, I like the hotel and I hope I will be able to go to the renovated rooms next time. The hotel is behind the restaurant so it is more a restaurant hotel than hotel restaurant. The food i did not taste but from outside looks a great dinner place

Great nice family hotel if you are looking for big network places then this place is not for you. Staying there gives you feeling that you are visiting relatives :) Besides good breakfast You have to try restaurant. Rooms are clean and tidy - and good sized. Good recommendation from my side.

I was there for a long time (few months) in a single room apartment then in the inn room. It is a family owned business and a friendly environment. The staff are friendly . The nature area around the Inn is beautiful and nice if you like walking or biking. The place is easily connected by train to waldkirch (4 minutes) and Freiburg (15 minutes).

Our stay at the Hirschenstube Gästehaus Gehri was excellent. The room was very comfortable, the staff extremely friendly and helpful, the breakfast was also really delicious (something to look forward to each morning). The location proved to be great with fun outings and good food spots in the local surroundings. Our thanks and we'll be back soon!

Very good hotel to stay, very good breakfast and very friendly staff. Good large room and very clean with good service. The Restaurant food was very good and I would recommend to have dinner there. I loved the view from my room facing the farms and the green mountains.

Three night stay in the Black Forest. Well placed hotel, with good road and public transport connections. Most of the Black Forest is within an hours drive. Rooms very comfortable and clean. Buffet breakfast served till 10am. Ate in the restaurant in the evening, set menu available. Quality of food very good and well presented. Staff very friendly and entertaining.

We have been vacationing in Kollnau every year for 12 years and always go up the mountain to have a beer and eat a little soup. I can't understand some of the negative reviews here. Got a huge piece of Black Forest cake here and it was very good, as was the cappuccino. There are also delicious soups and much more. But don't be fooled, we passed first because we thought it was closed. Tip to the owner, put up a sign with open.
