Very pleasant stay. The sauna and pool made it for me.

Staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms are well priced, however the hotel is dated and needs a refurb. Temperature control in the rooms didn't really work, had to sleep with windows open, lamps above the bed didn't work, tv had only one English channel (news) (I know its Germany but typically accor hotels you expect 2 - 3) etc etc

A little dated but overall a please to experience from check in to checking out. Swimming pool is quite good!

We stayed here for a night before we had to fly away after a 2 week vacation traveling around and visiting family in Germany. The hotel room was small but comfortable, dining services weren’t at the restaurant but still a small comfortable space with several options, and the staff were amazing . Would stay here again!

Nice, remote hotel overlooking Town. Woods surrounding the place kept the temperatures nice when we were here in Late June, which was nice since there was no air conditioning. Beds were ok, not great. Shower drain had a smell and was slow, which caused water to spill out onto the bathroom floor. Breakfast was very good, and the restaurant offered a limited menu of very good food for dinner dining...

Nice, somewhat modern rooms, style is debatable, a good TV with screen mirroring is not. The best thing about this place however is the service, staff may not always agree with your wishes, but will take care of them nevertheless. Food in the bistro and breakfast were good as well, yet lacking a few more vegetarian and vegan choices.

Kind of a modern Gasthof. Located in a small village which probably had farm houses in the old days. Hotel is well renovated with tasteful interior design and carefully chosen furniture. Its good hotel, rooms are small but clean. The host is quite helpful and attentive. Service is prompt, there are couple of restaurants nearby 5-10 mins walk. Neighborhood is quite peaceful and quite. Mall is nearby.

Restaurant with very good grill meat

The food of the restaurant is excellent, the owner and the personnel are friendly, they keep always the tables clean. If you happen to be on a visit in Friedrichsdorf, you must visit this place. I recommend the mix dish, which is a plate of different mix, rice and French fries.

I love coming here for a nicer than normal meal. Such a friendly staff and the food is prepared quick and it's delicious. Highly recommend the hollandaise sauce and they cook up the meat just the way you want. Great with kids too. Overall just a wonderful restaurant with lovely ambiance.

Apartment for Extended Stays. Unfortunately, no breakfast is offered on weekends. On the bright side, the self-check-in was extremely easy and straightforward. It would be a lovely addition to have some coffee or tea bags provided for the apartment kitchen, particularly for weekend guests.

Free parking is available in front of the hotel. There is a shopping center with department stores a 3-minute walk away. The Wi-Fi works well. There is also a pharmacy right next door.

The accommodation is in good condition, and the rooms are being refurbished.

Had a pleasant stay. The room was spacious and had all you need in a hotel room. LOVED the shower. Defently the highlight of the room. Great breakfast, and super friendly staff. The downside is that there isn't elevator and we had to go through quite a few stairs on our way to our room, and back so be prepared.

The location is perfect. It's close to S-bahn and to the park with Elisabeth spring. Very wide choice of food for breakfast, though not too tasty. But hotel room is quite old fashioned and bath is too narrow, so uncomfortable to take shower there.

The room was fine. However, it was very impractical to have only one key for the room, esp. when the room is on the 3rd floor. Frequently, one of us would have to walk down and open the door for the other. It should be possible to obtain two house and room keys when checking in.

Reasonably priced for being right downtown. Very friendly host providing amazing selection with their all you can eat German breakfast. Rooms are comfortable, clean and well appointed. I can recommend it without reservations. Great location for seeing the sights right in the old heart if the city.

Worth the 4 star rating. Spacious clean rooms with all the amenities you need, like a desk, two comfortable chairs, a network connection and a minibar. For whomever likes it, even a small pool. However, in my opinion overpriced. So look for special offers on the internet and enjoy the good quality of the hotel.

Very clean Hotel, very friendly staff, the room was like a small apartment, very quiet. Everything from the Minibar is free, Breakfast is super, the staff member is super friendly and accommodating. The gym is very clean, the appliances are great and the Sauna is very well maintained. There is Internet and Parking available for Large craftsman -vehicles. All-in-one, highly recommended.

They have beds. They have breakfast (no eggs or bacon but okay fine). They have a great manager. Only knock is the WiFi is not great. Manageable but not elite.

There was no Wi-Fi in the rooms. The room was next to the luggage elevator, so the noise from the elevator running every morning was very loud. The room was cleaned every two days. The surrounding area was very quiet; the only sound I could hear was the church bells.

The single room is probably from the 70s or 80s. The bed wasn't very comfortable. The bathroom, however, was spotless and newer. The room for 70 to 80 euros without breakfast is overpriced. There are better deals around Frankfurt that include breakfast for that price. We're talking about weekends, of course.

The staff was very friendly. The receptionist patiently explained to me that they could not do anything about the corrupt state tourist tax. The room was small but clean and I was able to relax there. The location is relatively quiet. Luckily I arrived by train and bus and not by car, because the parking situation is not so good there.

The Hotel Sonne is a simple hotel, but clean with everything you need. A good breakfast is provided, but no other food is available, so don't expect to eat here in the evening. This leads me to the biggest downside of the hotel - it's located away from the town centre so there is very little in the surrounding area. However, overall I would recommend the hotel.

In itself the breakfast would also be good, but was overshadowed by a very unfriendly breakfast staff. I was pampered unfriendly just because I asked for a bigger glass and sparkling water.
