Hotel Garni Schick

Kind of a modern Gasthof. Located in a small village which probably had farm houses in the old days. Hotel is well renovated with tasteful interior design and carefully chosen furniture. Our room was more than big. We slept very well in this quiet place after eating evening meal in the neighborhood. The next day we had breakfast before continuing driving in dirrection Heidelberg and Karlsruhe (A5). This hotel is a good choice for people driving and needing a place to stay in the Frankfurt region. This place is also good for a quiet vacaction in the countryside.

Yes, it was truly CHIC here!
Spacious double room with a large balcony; everything on the ground floor, which made access enjoyable; very comfortable beds that allowed for a good night's sleep; everything clean and well-maintained, very friendly service, a great breakfast room, super delicious coffee... AND - what we LOVED -: The selection of fresh produce (cheese/sausages) at breakfast, while not extensive at first glance, was rather limited, was always replenished as needed = sustainable work, which is unfortunately often overlooked!
Overall, a great place to stay that we really enjoyed!

Spacious, spacious grounds with plenty of opportunities to relax after work. There are covered areas, and the owner doesn't care how the property is used, as long as it stays within limits.

The room furnishings are quite dated, but charming; the fixtures and fittings are well maintained, and the property is clean everywhere. I couldn't find any mold or anything similar.

The ventilation in my room doesn't work. The doors are old, and the rooms are thinly soundproofed from the hallway. The windows have been partially replaced and offer protection from outside noise.

The breakfast selection is extensive. There are fresh rolls from the bakery, but unfortunately, no fresh scrambled eggs. :.-/

There is internet access, which works exceptionally well.

My room (#15) had desk space, a very nice easy chair, a good bathroom, good lighting, quiet, easily accessible. Much recommended. Parking is free.

Short break on the way to France. Met all expectations.

Nice rooms, lots of space, bathroom very spacious. Minibar in the room. Everything present. Delicious breakfast. Parking at the hotel. Friendly staff. There is no real bar, but you can have a drink. Correct prices. Worth repeating.

The staff was very, very friendly. Courteous at the front desk and exceptionally hard-working. Breakfast very attractive and varied. Fresh fruit . Location great. The room was spacious and very quiet. The staff were very accommodating.
