The staff was excellent. We asked at least two different people how to get to the white chalk beaches and they were very helpful. Even when we came back for more help they went above and beyond to help us.

Whilst it was a quick visit this time I do plan to return and get more acquainted with the place. First impressions, nice place to waste a few hours on a Sunday afternoon!

Very nice hotel, spacious rooms. Service and staff friendly, competent and courteous. TOP. Location if you're mobile is quite good, if you're not mobile is not so good. Train connection is 7 km away.

Spacious room a bit dated, the bathroom is small and not very conveniently arranged toilet at the entrance of the shower cubicle dangerous step in / out and the cabin does not close properly. The breakfast across the road but was good and friendly service. There are mostly elderly people had a nice day and see you next time

Interesting place as a time travel back to 1980's or earlier. The hotel gave a bit of Overlook Hotel feeling.. Furniture and colours dark and a bit oldfashioned but all clean and proper. Breakfast is ok but nothing extra, served in an old dancehall with lot of history in the walls..As close you can get old DDR nowadays! Be aware of that Visa and MasterCard is not accepted!

Wir waren im Restaurant essen. Uns hat es sehr gut geschmeckt, die Bedienung war flink und freundlich und die Inneneinrichtung sollte man gesehen haben ! Kapitän Nemo lässt grüßen. Aber bitte Vorsicht bei der Zufahrt über die Brücke . Auch landschaftlich schön gelegen.

Thr hotel was very good, and the restaurant, febulous. The sorroundings, and the whole Rugen Island, impressive.

Jeder Ausflug auf die Insel Rügen führt uns zum Essen ins Restaurant Nautilus in Neukamp bei Putbus. Erlebnisgastronomie beeindruckend. Als Käme Käpten Nemo und Jules Verne zur Tür herein. Essen gut bürgerlich und köstlich, große Portionen.

Schon zum zweiten mal innerhalb eines Jahres kehrten wir hier ein. Wetterbedingt konnten wir auf der ruhigen Terrasse Platz nehmen. Es war eine schwierige Entscheidung (drinnen oder draußen sitzen). Der Gastraum ist einem U-Boot nachempfunden, beruht auf dem Roman "Nautilus". Für Männer eine echte Spielwiese. Das Essensangebot ist gut auf Fisch- und Fleischgerichte aufgeteilt. Aber auch Vegetarier...

Pretty stylish place, the interiors are well sustained in the spirit of Jules Verne's 20000 Leagues under the sea and Steampunk if you will. They seem to have a decent sound and disco lights there. Food is local and quite good (however I failed to find dishes inspired by the subj, wink). Staff's courteous and welcoming.

Beautiful location directly at the sea! Super friendly staff, flexible and humorous =) The dinner tastes great (we just ate fish), but there’s not much vegetarian offer. The breakfast is okay - nothing vegan, enough cheese for veggies ;) The rooms are quite simple - no water cooker and the windows don’t close properly (quite cold when it’s windy). The showers are horrible - it’s very hard to manage...

We found this lovely spot while looking for a new hotel on Rügen. The rooms were clean and the grounds were nicely decorated. Everything was relatively new. The reception was very friendly. Breakfast was good. We would happily return.

We stayed at the Wreecher Hof for a week and felt very comfortable there. Delicious food, although the menu could be a bit more extensive. Very friendly staff, very well-kept grounds. A bit out of the way, but absolutely quiet. I would definitely spend my holiday there again.

I just visited the restaurant and I can say that I had a very good meal. The menu was well balanced and the food was good value for money. Thank you for the very friendly service, I will definitely be back.

My experience in Hotel due Nord was great. They were so kind, respectfully, professional and with attention to detail. The best of all was the kitchen, delicious dishes. A gastronomical pleasure, simply excellent!!!

Excellent location with quiet rooms, albeit not so large. Large free car park and excellent breakfast.

Very nice ambience, very good service, but unfortunately a very short menu with only 6 dishes in total for starters and desserts. The dishes are good, but there is still a need for an extra choice for vegetarians and standards.

The most important part of the hotel is really the restaurant. Every day different with new beautiful dishes. Excellent wine list with reasonably priced wines. The location is very quiet and with a large garden and an extensive sauna with Turkish bath in the lower floor, you can stay here in peace. The service is great and personal. The rooms are stylish with modern bathrooms.

We stayed as a family of 3 for 6 nights. First of all: You arrive and just feel grounded. Our room was very small, but you don't want to spend your vacation in a hotel room. There is a star deduction for the "messed up" first evening that we experienced. We booked for 3 people. But there was only bedding for 2. Something special in the south. Anyone who loves Rügen cannot ignore Kajahn. Authentic cuisine, no frills, friendly service, not fake. And the location of the manor house - if you don't think it's fantastic, you'll never be my friend

We ended up here just because another hotel put us off. We probably wouldn't have booked it otherwise. But what a pity. It may be in the middle of nowhere, but you can enjoy a great breakfast buffet with wild sausage in the morning. The extensive grounds make you very relaxed. It's a really nice and relaxing place. Only shortcomings are no internet and very bad mobile coverage (WiFi connects but no internet, only 2G mobile which they can't influence).

One of the perfect place to Campaign. I was there with my husband last week. very peaceful and beautiful place. Toilets and showers are super clean. Very nice cozy kitchen. Staff was very helpful also.

It’s a lovely family owned camp ground! People are very peaceful, friendly and helpful. The grounds are clean and beautifully natural. Great place to take your dog, the owners even pay attention to spread dogs evenly throughout the grounds. Also, the little kitchen and the washing facilities as well as toilets are very clean. A very quiet, clean campsite. There are toilets, showers, small kitchen, outdoor tables and drinking water in the beautiful garden. Very nice owner and knows English :)

Really nice camping. We had luck and after earlier phone agreement we could check in after camping working hours. Camping is next to the water. Clean toilets and shower everything in the same building. Minus for small kitchen and only one place to wash dishes. U can emptying your chemical toilet. A comfortable and cozy campsite! We appreciated the friendly staff, convenient facilities, and scenic view on the channel. Also, thanks to its rural location, the view on the starry sky at night is incredible.

The hotel is on the water's edge and one is lead to believe that dinner is served on the terrace/dining room with a view over the sea. This is not the case, at least out of season when the dining room is relocated to a basement room.

Totally worth the drive. We had a late lunch. Two rib eye steaks and some chicken nuggets for the kids. Quality of meat was great and the meat grilled perfectly med. rare. Definitely would recommend this spot.

I’ve been there for one night in the hotel. The room was ok, but the shower in the bath had mold and old spiderwebs in the corners. The breakfast buffet is great. Good stuff and enough for everyone. One can of coffee on each table is a good thing. In the restaurant I’ve tried a white wine spritzer... 4,90 is expensive :/

In late October, 2017, some friends and I gathered at this hotel's restaurant for dinner. The food and atmosphere were fine. One friend complained that self-purchased wine was forbidden, no corkage fee available.

I found it very relaxing here. Everything really harmonized with each other. The breakfast was great and constantly replenished what was missing. The breakfast staff also fulfilled our every wish. The rooms are very clean and modernly furnished.

Very good location for many activities, starting point for boat trips and 100m away is the raging Roland and feeder to regional traffic.

All in all a good hotel. Basic WiFi with password only and unlimited devices. The breakfast is also varied and the room has a balcony where you could smoke. Downstairs in the hotel next to the breakfast room there is an Italian restaurant. I like everything very much.

What a wonderful place. On our arrival we we met with very friendly staff and the stilt-house we rented was very clean. We are already talking about going back in summer when there will be a lot more activities to do. We had the time to explore a small part of the island, and would like to see the rest.

A fabulous, unforgettable stay. Our flat was E type, flat 11 above the restaurant with view on the sea from...every single window ! Flat is modern and beautiful, with everything you need. We were there in the winter (February) and I am sure this place is amazing at any time during the year. I recommend it without a single doubt. Just stunning. Also, the staff was very nice !

Excellent, friendly, outstanding service. Due to private reasons we had to decline our reservation on very short notice. The Service team did everything to get the house booked again even though the contract was very clear that we have to pay. At the end: we got our money back without any effort from our side. I did some research before booking, and it did not disappoint. It's a charming, older hotel off the beaten path of many of the other more touristy locations. The grounds were beautiful, rooms were clean, and staff very friendly and helpful.

We spent a weekend here and very much enjoyed the friendly and accommodating staff. While the rooms may appear a little outdated, the generous breakfast and the cozy but decent spa area made up for that. There's plenty of parking and even a Tesla destination charger for EV drivers. A nice choice of place to stay in Rugen. The hotel is quite nicely done and the location is in a good location as well. The personnel are really polite and helpful, the food offered is high quality and diverse, and there are alot of amenities at your disposal in the hotel. All I can give is a positive feedback!

We came very late at night with a small baby The team was very helpful and arranged us everything very fast The restaurant waiter helped with sterilization of thr baby's bottles and the food at breakfast was very good. The bed is huge (200*200) so even though they gave us mattress for baby we let him sleep with us.

5 star rating for the restaurant. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The menu offers a great selection of regional and high-quality dishes. Our 3 courses were beautifully presented and very tasty. We didn't have to wait long for our orders. The ambience is appealing. We will be back.

Nice location, well maintained property. Cozy restaurant with good breakfast buffet. We stayed in the 2nd floor Sued room. The room’s door is in the stairway it is ver loud in the early morning since the service entrance of the hotel is at the bottom of the staircase. A better, soundproof door would probably help here. No parking on premises but lots of parking some 100m away.

We needed a place to stay on Rügen at short notice, which was almost hopeless in the main season. When I asked Mr. Schuldt (ruegenmagic), he took care of it immediately and we were allowed to spend 2 wonderful days in a nicely furnished and clean apartment in Glowe (close to the beach). I had been looking for my friends with very special wishes regarding equipment and location. Had already made a very good experience here, do not know a portal whose operator is so familiar on the island and in the accommodations. It was a holiday apartment, very nice landlord and the whole organization and scheduling worked perfectly. Good price performance ratio. Also H. Schuldt has taken care of very nice. Again any time. Rügen is always worth a visit

The apartment is really cute. Everything you need is there. It is in a great location and the handover was uncomplicated. So far we feel very comfortable. Of course there are things that could be improved, as in every holiday home. The pillows are very knobbly and ugly. The bathroom could have been a bit cleaner, but everyone has a different opinion. We would definitely book the apartment again.

I was on Rügen in 2017 and June 2020 and I can recommend the Schulte family's holiday apartments to everyone. It is very clean, everything is there and each apartment has an almost private terrace. From Altefaehr you can quickly cross the Rügen bridge in the direction of Rostock or Usedom and almost every place on Rügen can be reached in less than 60 minutes. If Rügen then family Schulte.

Clean, tidy, everything is there and for the domestic well-being is very well sorted. Nice landlord who stays in the background so you can enjoy your vacation in peace of mind. :) Attached are pictures of the bedroom and bathroom.

The apartment and the surrounding area is very beautiful. If you don't necessarily want to be in contact with the landlord, you're welcome. We lacked information beforehand. Then we waited forever for the key to the apartment. The phone number on the website was not helpful as no one answered. Thanks to nice guests who gave us their cell phone number. Which, mind you, was only in the holiday apartments...

I don't even know how many nights we've spent there in recent years, but we're always impressed, starting with the warm welcome, the lovingly furnished and clean rooms, and the lovingly prepared breakfast buffet. The dear operators always have an open ear and are at your side with advice and action. Simply recommended and we will stop by again and again.

Wonderful secluded hotel, seaside too!

Nice little hotel situated in what I am being told is a prime summer holiday area. Didn't get a chance to explore much, as I was there on a business trip, but would say that the hotel was very good value for money and it's situated in a nice quiet village/area. The room wasn't anything special, but it was large and had everything you'd need. Expected terrible breakfast based on booking review, but...

Forthcoming staff. They placed our family in one of the penthouse apartments with balcony, own kitchen with both stove and combined fridge/freezer and separate bedrooms. Standard was OK, even though we Scandinavians prefer "hard floor", for freshness. 😁 Good breakfast. Parking included.

Wie schon im letzten Jahr hat es mir sehr gut gefallen. Ich genieße die Ruhe und die Abgeschiedenheit. Bei einem wärmenden Kaminfeuer zu kochen, zu lesen oder Schiffe zu beobachten ist Erholung pur. Wenn man Lust hast kommt man schnell nach Stralsund und kann sich dort die Museen ansehen (Mein persönliches Highlight war das Museumshaus).

Very pleasant place to relax. I'm here mostly for fishing. Sometimes you are very successful. So I'm staying a few more days.
