A great place for a family with an animal to stay. quiet location, big clean rooms, great WIFI, good breakfast. In general, it exceeded my expectations. Incredible price-quality ratio

The immediate staff I spoke to were nice and friendly and the room was fairly clean, however, the breakfast I paid for was AWFUL and the management tried to insult my intelligence via email by claiming there wasn't a food shortage on the second day of my stay (they acknowledged the food shortage on the first day of my stay - Fri 15th Sept 2023) when I made a complaint about it.
From the 4 nights I stayed at Melvi hotel, I gave up having breakfast there after 2 days because it was so pathetic and obviously had to pay more money for breakfast elsewhere.
Horrible experience.

The room stank and in the summer heat not having even a fan or air conditioning was a nightmare. The wifi was also very buggy. Had paid for 2 nights, but due to the experience, left to a better hotel after the first one. No one bothered to even ask for feedback as to why we are checking out early. Not going back.
Edit: I see in the response from the Establishment mentioning about a phone conversation that has never occurred. I give the benefit of the doubt that the establishment got confused with a different guest.

Booking last minute on our trip home for 1 night to recharge "batteries" for last part of the trip home next day.
Price wise was the cheapest we find on Internet near by.
BIG was the surprise when we saw the hotel car park right in front of the hotel, nice reception, very friendly and helpful Receptionist who speake very good English and explain everything needed about room, breakfast and how and from where to order some food near by as it was late when we check in.
Room was very clean and tidy, spacious, big flat tv, clean and spotless bathroom, safe available in the room.
Really impressive for a *** hotel
We would definitely book again on our way back in England.

There is a small parking lot in front of the hotel.
There is still an underground car park, but with my van, no chance.
Small but very clean and nice bathroom. Room very clean too.
It is best to book online to get the best price, there are very strong price fluctuations from 55 to 80 € what I have noticed and booking directly does not guarantee the best price here?

The room did not smell fresh when we arrived.
There were flies on the bedding.
There was not enough staff at breakfast. The lady who attended tried her best but couldn't handle it.
The buns still had to be baked. There wasn't enough toppings for it
number of guests there. There was 1 egg when we got to breakfast (9 am).
There was no one at the reception on arrival or departure.
There was a phone number to call. but there was no answer and no one showed up.
On departure, several people were waiting for someone to appear.
Finally we tossed the key card in a box and left.
Not recommended.

Very nice hotel. Price and performance go very well together!
Breakfast is sufficient for a small hotel and you get full, but you shouldn't expect too many choices.

Hotel is clean and room is big enough. Breakfast plentiful, coffee is delicious. Staff is friendly. The star deduction was there because the rooms are not air-conditioned and because there is a refrigerator in the entrance, but it is locked .. So definitely bring drinks!
