The staff was extremely professional and helpful. The property and the room we had was immaculate and comfortable. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Conevnient hotel for my visit to the University of Göttingen. Nice room with coffee maker, but no refrigerator. Desk space is very limited. Check-in took a long time despite having done an online check-in in advance, there was a long line at the reception. But got a glass of wine upon check-in which was appreciated. The hotel has a great bar, which is open late. Breakfast is nice but expensive.

Overall a very nice hotel. The room was modern and clean, in a decent size and in a great condition. We didn’t try the spa, but we did try the restaurant and that was a treat. Portions were perhaps a bit on the small side, but they did warn about that beforehand so we weren’t surprised either. A good experience!

Absolutely loved my stay, been here twice. Great Interior design, very cozy, friendly staff. Large and numerous parking spots. Honorable mention to the cocktail bar and the breakfast buffet ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We usually take a stop in Gottingen when returning from our summer holiday in Italy. This year we choose FREIgeist, and what a hotel!
We found the hotel and ordered a room at our arrival. Got the price equal to the price on their home page. In addition we paid €15 for a parking space in the safe garage below the hotel.
Check-in procedure was smooth and service was good. We were offered a glass of wine also.
The room was really amazing! Brand new, nice furniture and generally very exclusive. The king-size bed was good too.
After a good night’s sleep we went for breakfast and this was fantastic too. So many options and really good quality bread, juices, etc. A lot of organic food too e.g. fresh marmelade.
Can really recommend the hotel, and we will be back again next year - for sure.

The design of the hotel overall was very nice and they have excellent food. Service is almost as good as you can expect in N. America at the reception, but leaves something to be desired in the dining room. Meals are family style and they bring some tables all the items stated on the menu and completely miss others. I've heard that their air conditioning at the central "Innenstadt" location apparently never worked, but I don't think the "Nordstadt" location has this problem. But it wasn't that hot anyway while I was there. Bed is super comfortable, just wish the pillows and duvet were down. In the mornings however, construction seems to start at 5 or 6 in the morning, which means you won't get any sleep if you had a late night. I don't know why they don't pay attention to things like this.
We were there for work and there were sufficient conference/work rooms for at least networking. Internet connection is good, but if you're hoping to use the screen in your room as a laptop monitor, make sure to bring a cable with a double headed HDMI cable, because no DVI-D ports are available. Location is terrible but they have underground parking for 15€/day.
Hotel is overall a hit or miss experience. I wouldn't choose this place if I had to pay for it myself.
