It was a really wonderful stay. I do have a few things. I was hoping for more of a spa setting, with a hottub and steam room. I wasn’t looking to go through the gym for a sauna. We were curious to see the Achental as one of Motel One Founder Dieter Müller's three luxury hotels. The others are the Kitzhof in Kitzbühel and the Chiemgauhof at Lake Chiemsee. This is nice huge estate. Location is a bit middle of nowhere. There is outdoor parking, also charging stations available. We had a great corner room. It was big, spacious bathroom, separate toilet, good shower. Good bed. Good breakfast, but too little personnel; it took a while to order coffee, then we didn’t have cups… 5 good saunas but walking there was through the gym. Restaurant Essenz was perfect

Die Wohnung ist ideal zwischen den Bergen (Reit im winkel-Winkelmoss Alm) und Chiemsee gelegen.

Unique and cute accommodation close to the Chiemsee. Basic but well thought out concept. The hall with it’s shared kitchen and generous seating area is well decorated and has cozy lighting. Spent a long weekend there with a group of friends, due to the number of people it was possible to rent the entire space, so we could sit undisturbed until 4 in the morning around the cozy campfire. I was a guest here with my boyfriend on July 21 on our Bavaria tour and this was our absolute favorite hotel on the trip. The rooms are very modern and, above all, very clean. Both the breakfast and the evening meal in the restaurant were just delicious! From the owner to the staff, everyone was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely come again!

We stayed at the Landhotel Gabriele over New Year's Eve 2022. The rooms are very nice, clean and wonderfully quiet, some of them newly renovated. The apartment is very large and has plenty of space for 4 people. The Stubn can be reached very easily via the front door. Our dog also felt very comfortable. Easy hiking tours can be started directly from the apartment.

The large rooms are tastefully furnished, very quiet and some with a balcony or terrace. The kitchen is fabulous and the staff very accommodating. The breakfast is plentiful. In the underground car park, the parking spaces and the entrance and exit are unfortunately a little tight for today's vehicles. CONCLUSION: The stay literally cries out for a repetition.

Nice hotel in Chiemsee. Breakfast is excellent and owners really want to make your holiday best they can. They are really helpfull. Room is cosy, clean and there is lot of space and bed is excellent. This was a beautiful, comfortable hotel in a lovely city. The room was large, clean and luxurious feeling, and the surroundings breathtaking. The weather was extremely hot (30 degrees Celsius) so the lack of air conditioning was am issue, but the cool nights made up for that. Enjoyed our one night stay We enjoyed our one night stay here. We had a friendly welcome when we arrived, and we really liked the authentic Alpine chalet feel of the hotel. The food in the hotel restaurant is delicious, and the fish is very famous, which is caught in the lake next to it. The waiter is very nice. The towels in the hotel were a bit dirty, but otherwise there was nothing wrong with it.

Spectacular lakefront location. Quiet, yet close to major highways and Autobahn. The Marchlhof and its owners Ina and Martin live hospitality and animal welfare in a way that is rarely experienced. They don't give you a chance not to feel comfortable, so it was difficult for us to leave our great apartment and farm for excursions. Everything just fits together and we didn't miss anything. We will definitely come back no matter what time of year!

Even though the Hotel (especially the rooms) are a bit on the dated side, it's a very nice place to spend a few days while exploring the area. Breakfast was included, which makes up for it being rather basic, and other than a anemic WiFi speed, everything was above and beyond great.
