We had an apartment. The decor is very tasteful, with nice little details. The 50 m to the restaurant where breakfast is served is not a problem. There were 2 umbrellas in case it rained. The breakfast itself is great. Several types of rolls and bread. Various types of sausage and cheese, as well as eggs.

One of the few hotels we have been to where we were impressed from the entryway to the room. A beautiful place.

We did work on the roof. Everything was pleasantly prepared for us. And the staff was very courteous and helpful. The coffee break was pleasant.

I spontaneously and at short notice reserved a table for two people for dinner. Since we weren't hotel guests, we were very happy about the friendly welcome in the restaurant. The service was friendly and attentive. The food was of very good quality, tasted excellent, the side salad was wonderfully fresh and the price-performance ratio was unbeatable. Very nice hotel. Friendly and very attentive staff! Very nice atmosphere in the breakfast room too. Fresh bread rolls daily from the local bakery. You will be asked what kind of hot drink you would like and whether you would like an egg dish of your choice. For me it was definitely very nice there. I'd love to come back!

Very nice small hotel without great performance for a relatively large amount of money. The location is ok. Rooms are clean and very basic. The breakfast is cheap and good.

Pros: Clean and large bedroom and bathroom, friendly and helpful owners and parking available Cons: The room was right next to the reception and it got noisy very early in the morning as the kitchen was behind the reception and the breakfast area was down the hall. The breakfast, especially when guests stay longer, could be a bit more varied.

The breakfast buffet is also great, a lot of choice that everyone can find something suitable. The location is also very good, you can get from A to B quickly. Although the rail traffic is raging there, you can't hear anything at night. This hotel can only be recommended....

Simple, functional and clean hotel. But if you are on tour for work absolutely to avoid. No way to get regular invoice and no cards accepted.

We stopped there on a bike tour, including an overnight stay. Very friendly treatment, we felt very comfortable. The rooms were fine. Despite / under Corona rules, a lot of effort was made and all wishes were fulfilled.

Great hotel, friendly and very helpful staff, and great Spa area on the 7th floor with an awesome view. Great break fast and very nice, cozy, and large rooms. For business travelers later check in times would be nice.

Lovely room overlooking the sea complete with a sofa to relax on. Absolutely superb breakfast buffet and the cappuccino was first class. Small but sufficient sauna area including an infinity pool on the 6th floor. Highly recommended for a small wellness break if you are looking for some sea air.

This hotel is highly recommended for its location and facilities. I would like to highlight the very friendly staff. (Restaurant manager, service and reception, housekeeping). The food is very good, the kitchen knows its business. The breakfast buffet also leaves much to be desired. Simply put, "everything is perfect". We will be back.

We visited the cocktail bar. Higher standard, but so were the prices. Everything is suitable for the service and atmosphere. Everything was clean, the staff, first of all, human, and also very friendly. There is a compartment for smokers, which is also not available everywhere.

Relatively unassuming from the outside, the Fährhaus is, in my opinion, the best from the inside. The rooms are very spacious with fantastic views. Especially from the upper floors. Everything was very clean and tidy. Breakfast is top class. Unfortunately, we did not test the kitchen, but will definitely do so on our next visit. Friendly service for checkout, and facilitated a very late check in, but hotel is very dated and tired throughout. Room was very cold on arrival (I don't normally get cold), and some plug outlets in the room weren't working so I had to remove lamp sockets to get a working plug by the bed. We were really impressed with the hotel! Room really nice and clean. The only thing we didn't like that much, there was no way for us to pay for the room in cash. Had to pay by card, otherwise we would not have been able to move into the room or would otherwise have had to spend a few hours in the cold. Otherwise really great!

Fabulous restaurant, lovely staff, we had a balcony room and a beautiful day so could sit out overlooking the water. Fridge full of beer and drinks on the landing with an honesty box.

Had breakfast "Kaffee und Kuche" here whilst on a bus trip from the Dutch company "Paulusma Reizen". Was very satisfied with the food and drinks, service was great and restroom usage was free, very clean building and great staff.

Attentive and good general service, however in the rooms there are only channels in German and the breakfast has little variety (no fried eggs, no beans, no Nutella,...). Free snack service, however, only cakes and little variety.

Somethimes everything clicks - and this hotel ticks all the boxes. Light is just right at the chamber, a fireplace in your room (although for safety fake), floorheating at your toilet / bathroom, free minibar, perfect breakfast.. excellent spa and very capable staff. I was pretty impressed!

Excellent hotel. Great staff and close to everything. If there is one thing it is that the rooms are quite loud and I did not sleep well because of my noisy neighbours. I am also unsure about the cleanliness as there were black hairs on the floor of my bathroom. I am sure this is just a one-time happening and not regular because the hotel is nice.

The whole hotel had a relaxed and easy atmosphere. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, the breakfast buffet was rich and varied. Dinner at the restaurant in the park was very good. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and felt very comfortable.

Good location, very friendly and helpful staff, I especially enjoyed the backyard area that was nice and cool and quiet. Unfortinatley there is no AC and when we were there it was very hot. Heat is usually not a problem in that area so it is understandable that no AC is built in but it was borderline unbearable for 3 days. -The beds are okay, I did not like the pillows at all. -Bathrooms are nice....

The hotel is not in the city centre but nearer to other activities and suited better this way for our purposes. Excellent breakfast and super friendly staff ready to help. They have a couple of houses, we stayed in the original. The rooms have been renovated and if not fancy, they were nice and comfortable. The bathroom was really good. All in all just as one would expect

We drove up to Emden from Geneva with our sailplane. We had to go through customs nearby in the morning. So, we stopped at the Haus Wittwer for the night. The hosts were very helpful. They let us come back to the hotel in the morning after customs for a shower and breakfast. The breakfast alone was well worth the stop --- fresh salmon and berries for my wife and a very tasty coffee for me. And there...

My wife and I were from 21.5. to 28.05 in the Westfalenhof on Juist on vacation. We had a room with a balcony and a direct view of the town. Since there are no cars on Juist, you could really relax there and watch the horses and people going about their business.
