Perfect place to spend some time in summer and even in winter. 5 stars for this "aqualand".

We arrived in the after season. It was really quite and clean. The houses are quite big and you'll find all the necessary things you'll need for cooking. Breakfast was one of the best I have had in Europe. I would rate the breakfast selection in my top three overall ever and that includes a couple hundred other lodging facilities. The restaurant had overall good food and not just for breakfast. The staff were all friendly.

Great views, cool crisp air, good food and service, nice trails nearby...just refreshing. We really enjoyed the overall great hospitality. Highlights: the shower is amazing, the bathroom looks newly renovated and they had an elevator. No real downside other than I thought the bed was too firm but that's personal preference.

This year's autumn vacation took us to Hotel Dammschänke in Johnsdorf. We were extremely satisfied with this hotel, nice modern furnished room and bathroom. There is also a small but nice wellness area with sauna which we used once. A very good 3 course menu and a rich breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired. Staff was very nice and helpful. We can recommend the hotel and will visit the hotel again

We were now for the third time for a short break in the Dammschenke. It's always nice. The guest room is very rustic and comfortable, the staff is always friendly and very attentive. The breakfast is plentiful and you don't have to do without anything until the end. The rooms are newly renovated very nicely. Historical, cosy Inn. Local typical and very delicious kitchen, at the HP Breakfast and dinner 3-course menu (1 day meeting before selection), drinks excl. are to be paid on the respective evening. The sauna area, warm & cozy, 1 dry Sauna max. 4 persons, reservation necessary, 6 € p. p. (for children if too hot). Rooms are spacious and clean and odor-free. A very pleasant atmosphere.

We were four nights there, slept very well. The room was very clean and the bed fine. The restaurant we used in the Evening after the hike to eat and were always very satisfied.

We spent a lovely 4 days here in a 4 person apartment. The rooms are functionally furnished. But they were very clean. It was a bit dark in the stairwell and in the corridors, which was probably related to the current energy crisis. The owner was friendly and the housekeeping and breakfast staff were very on the ball. The breakfast was mediocre and plentiful, something for everyone. The scrambled eggs...

Rooms are old, but clean and comfortable. You can sit comfortably in the garden. From there you can go hiking and you can walk to town in about 20 minutes.

A beautiful Hotel that serves both directly in the forest with super views of the village Oybin, paired with great Service and great food is really all needs. Without logging in you will be greeted sincerely and, of course, there is also a room. And if you are considering to Oybin to Zittau mountains to travel, here is really good, if you need individual insider tips and a thought of "time" to waste...

Friendly people. Clean room and bathroom. All brand new en a nice modern decor. Our bicycles could be safely parked inside. Very good breakfast buffet.

Excellent top-quality service. Great place to wind down and relax. The experience of breakfast alfresco with birds singing around you - unforgettable! Lovely cycling route around the lake (bicycles to rent at the hotel). It was a perfect stay. We will definitely come back there, more than once I hope!

We organized a week long conference at this hotel attended by 10 people from the US and Poland. It was absolutely perfect. We were so well looked after by the staff. The conference room had a massive TV which was perfect for our needs. The Manager, Rolf, spoke perfect English and took care of our nightly dinner reservation needs. Pleasant enough quirky boutique hotel, paid and free parking available and just a short walk from the old town.

A great hotel with the best staff ever! I left my wedding and engagement rings in the room without even noticing it. The staff found them, called me and sent all back. That's a kind of services that really makes you want to return to a place. Room was nice and spacious and breakfast delicious. I can only recommend!

The hotel was very nice. It's an old hotel but that's just charming. The room we had consisted of two rooms (en suite) and a new and modern bathroom. So we had plenty of space for the four of us. Our stay included breakfast and the breakfast buffet was very nice. Plenty different food and drinks to choose from.

Towels doesn't looks fresh and clean

Great food, there was a great menu in the evening, the breakfast buffet is a real eye-catcher, it is prepared with a lot of love! Friendly staff, everything very clean. We have absolutely nothing to complain about! Unfortunately, 2 days are much too short for Görlitz.

Hotel staff is very kind, and location is nice

We wanted a hotel that would give us easy access to the parkrun just over the border. it was about a 20min walk to Park Nadnyski which was excellent. it was also well located for a short walk to Görlitz rail station with a tram stop right outside. We got a pretty big room for two people and the wifi was an excellent speed. Breakfast was OK too.

We enjoyed staying in Hotel Europa: staff was very nice and helpful, reception lady speaks English(which is rare case in Gorlitz), prices are fair, it's possible to park a car on internal parking (7,5eur/24h), they accept international credit cards. Rooms are very clean. Baby friendly. 5 minutes on foot to the Old Town, ATMs are right across the street.

We were guests at the hotel as part of a vintage car tour. An extra parking space in the enclosed courtyard was provided to us. I was very touched by the simplicity and trust of the hotel owners, as I booked a room by phone call. Simple to handle, easy to communicate: and voila - superior hotel, where you feel like at home. Service was good and although the courtyard and entrance area shocked me at first, the room was clean and sufficient. Parking in front of the hotel is stupidly regulated because of the parking space management and the actual hotel parking lot is around the corner but you need the room chip for it. Where things could definitely be improved would be breakfast, the selection is limited and only one person...

5 stars because you just have the feeling of being with friends. Rooms are very clean and still have the old-fashioned charm. Breakfast is made with a lot of love and there is something for everyone. There is a separate parking lot but given the location everything is within walking distance. The staff and service are very polite and accommodating.

Absolute recommendation! Nice hotel well located. Everything here can be reached quickly on foot. Park your car in the hotel parking lot and off you go. Christmas market, brewery, restaurants we had a great weekend in Görlitz. Many thanks to the girls who make breakfast with so much love every day! It was just very nice there. Hotel has very good location. The room is large and tastefully decorated with attention to detail. It was very clean. Rooms are a bit outdated, but otherwise a very clean, comfy and welcoming place. The breakfast offers a huge choice and the dinner is very tasty although a tad expensive. We really liked option to book a private sauna.

We only stayed one night here, but the room was clean and spacious. The hotel itself is located in an impressive former apartment building. The breakfast was in their own restaurant and offered a good variety and lots of cheese selections.

Beautiful hotel in the center of Görlitz with nice rooms, free internet and a decent breakfast for extra charge. We had some spiderwebs in our room but the staff cleaned them directly on our request. The reception desk is closed after five.

Centrally located, with some parking spaces behind the house. Beautifully renovated old building. 2 floors, due to the structural conditions without an elevator. Lots of service and friendly staff. Clean rooms, tastefully and functionally furnished. Only negative neighboring building in need of renovation. We liked it in this hotel and will come back.

A hotel run by young people, we loved it. The room was big enough, there was a parking space in the yard, everything was clean and the breakfast was sufficient and always topped up. The tea counter was awesome.

The hotel is centrally located and everything from Görlitz's old town to the border crossing into Poland can be easily reached on foot. The Hotel Meridian is a small, nice and clean hotel. The rooms are spacious and the breakfast is great too, with something for everyone. Staff is very friendly. A camera-monitored parking space in the City-Center parking garage for 6 euros per night is also acceptable

A great newly renovated townhouse in a prime location. Very nice rooms, which were very clean and completely refurbished. The staff is very friendly and responds immediately to customer requests, if these are possible. The breakfast is very rich and freshly prepared with a lot of love. All in all worth a recommendation. Old school style and great service!

Good place for overnight stay during the trip. I recommend to visit old City center of Bautzen.

The location is very nice and calm. The beds aren't as comfortable for my liking, but for the nights I stayed there, they were definitely good. Just the WiFi didn't work as planned, but that's not much of a problem since I've been out a lot more than I stayed at the hotel. It's best to use the bus around Bautzen to go to the city and there's a bus stop 10 minutes away from the hotel.

Quiet location, short distances to the shopping center "market purchase" inexpensive room - 75 €, very rich and delicious food. To reach the city centre of Bautzen, you should be good to walk or take a Taxi to choose.

Close to motorway, good Breakfast. The interior of the rooms has been its year, on-site Parking is quite small. Loud music on the ground floor does not feel in the rooms.

We went there for a small dinner, it was already quite late and there weren't many people. The potato soup was sensational and the Strammer Max was wonderful, too, even though the latter was somewhat pricey. The service was friendly and quick, so we left the place happy. Thank you!

Very good location. Walking distance to the white church and the bridge over to Polen. About 2km to Landskron brewery. Very nice rooms.

If you’re planning to stay anywhere in Gorlitz this is the place! Optimal location right in the town centre with restaurants nearby. We even had a busker playing under our window. Very friendly and professional service and made us Australians feel very welcome and at home here! Can’t recommend highly enough.

Good hotel, but overprices because of the location in the center of Gorlitz

On Easter weekend, the Restaurant was really full. Nevertheless, we were very warmly welcomed and cared for until places for us were free. And although the kitchen had high operating, all food very tasty, hot and nice. We would like to thank the hard-working, friendly staff and would recommend the Restaurant.

Rating of the Restaurants: The card has a completely adequate range of regional delicacies, dear Quali instead of quantity! The food was delicious and quite inexpensive. The service was a little Moody but not rude. All in all, I was satisfied, I would go back.
