We stayed here for a long hiking weekend. Just 2min walk from the train station. Rooms were functional and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was awesome. All good!

Well-situated hotel just next to the train station (for steam engine train fans) and below mount Oybin. Very tidy and cosy rooms. There is a patio in front of the hotel that you can use after the restaurant closes. Tasty and abundant breakfast. We were called by phone before our arrival with some important information about our arrival and the person spoke our language (Czech).

I spent 5 wonderful nights with my partner in this hotel. The hotel is run perfectly. The rooms are well furnished and cleaned daily. It was my birthday during our stay and I was greeted in the morning with a festively set breakfast table. Super dynamic young team. Relaxed atmosphere, great rooms. We were only there for a short time, but we felt at home. The well thought-out overall concept is also impressive. There were seven of us and we can recommend the Hotel am Berg with a clear conscience.

Hotel am Berg Oybin is very well located. The breakfast selection is not to be scoffed at. Cons: the bathrooms are quite narrow. If you get a room on the "right side" you can enjoy the view of the Oybin. This hotel is - also in terms of price - absolutely recommendable!

This year's autumn vacation took us to Hotel Dammschänke in Johnsdorf. We were extremely satisfied with this hotel, nice modern furnished room and bathroom. There is also a small but nice wellness area with sauna which we used once. A very good 3 course menu and a rich breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired. Staff was very nice and helpful. Historical, cosy Inn. Local typical and very delicious kitchen, at the HP Breakfast and dinner 3-course menu (1 day meeting before selection), drinks excl. are to be paid on the respective evening. Thanks to the hospitality at the Hotel Riedel in Zittau, we had an all-round lovely short family vacation. Breakfast was one of the best I have had in Europe. I would rate the breakfast selection in my top three overall ever and that includes a couple hundred other lodging facilities. The restaurant had overall good food and not just for breakfast. The staff were all friendly.
