Right in the heart of town off the main square this hotel was a great find! The GPS directions might tell you to drive into the back of the hotel, just know it's directly on the main drag, anywhere else you're being led is wrong. The rooms are huge, and the bathrooms very clean and super nice

I was lucky enough to have a room overlooking the main street. Great location, although the car park isn't very big. Friendly staff who could cater for gluten free which is a rarity in this part of the world it seems. (Although no gluten free beer, had to head to Kaufland supermarket for that). Be prepared for the early wake up when the town's clock bells start too.

A very quaint hotel with great facilities. The pool was small but clean and the sauna too. Food cooked by the owner was excellent and breakfast was lovely with fresh bread and jams.

Family friendly equestrian themed hotel This hotel is tucked away and very unassuming. My family stayed here for a kids sports event in the area during the early spring season. Im grossen und ganzen war's ganz ok. Essen war sehr gut, aber Sonntag + Montag ist Ruhetag. Da haben wir im ca. 400 mtr. entfernten Hirschen sehr gut gegessen.

I had found this place spontaneously on a bicycle trip, but it turned out to be a wonderful choice. Nice, clean and comfortable room, friendly staff, great breakfast buffet, and on top if it, it even has a touch of art hotel, with paintings and other pieces of art decorating reception and breakfast rooms. All this at an affordable price right in the old town, what more do you want!

The hotel is in a very good location, it was self check in and quiet. It is an old building, but in total was fine.

Spent 1 night in room number 1. This room has an old door with small cracks. That's why you can hear all the guests walking past. I was woken up more than 3 times in the middle of the night. I'm deducting a star for that reason alone. Otherwise I can recommend this hotel. The location can't be beat.

Simple place. Dated. Single rooms are small. Bathrooms small. Linen and bathrooms clean. Have to let yourself in if coming at night. Overall a functional not a special stay. Great Location on main market square. Friendly people at reception. Decent breakfast.

Our requirements during our stay were completely met. There was a TV and even a full size fridge in the room. WiFi also available free of charge. The hosts are very nice and often ask if everything is ok or if there are still wishes. However, we were surprised by the extensive breakfast for 5 euros. Everything was there. New & clean hotel. Modern design

After long day of traveling it is a pleasure to get to the place like this one. Located in the centre of quiet village, with enough parking space, offers delicious cousine as well as super clean and newly furnished hotel rooms. Tasty breakfast with Italian flavours, very friendly owners and staff as well as reasonable prices make it a place of first choice if you happen to be around.

Clean reconstucted nice room, delicious food, great location. Durring my stay there was little noizy reconstruction outside a hotel, but nothing critical. Free parking place 2 min by foot far from the hotel. Historical building with a modern interier as well.

This hotel is cheap but good. Exvellent shower, confortable bed and clean. Don't expect cleaning at the weekend. There is a restaurant in the hotel but I,didn't try it. My bike was made welcome and safely locked in a garage. It might get warm in summer and my room had no aircon.

I want to praise the receptionist of this hotel, who is very kind and received me in the middle of the night and came out to meet me. We traveled late and did not get to book the hotel the day before, but the lady at the reception, because she did not have a room for us, everything was taken, immediately tried to give us she found accommodation and called all the hotels in the area and found us accommodation...

Basic hotel including the breakfast. Room was clean and shower was hot. No real parking and had to park on the street. A very small courtyard holding maybe 8 cars. Breakfast was continental and acceptable. The town was generally quite in the evenings midweek. Found a very reasonably priced restaurant with good homemade food.

I really enjoyed my two-day stay here. The room, public areas, and surrounding area were all clean. The breakfast buffet was yummy and dinner at the restaurant on site was excellent. There are also some lovely walking trails nearby.

I was kicked out of my AirBnB and had no place to stay. I was brought here by a stranger who heard my situation and knew of vacancies and explained to the owner about my situation and gave me a discount! The rooms are small, but they're cozy. The bathroom is nice. The sheets smell amazing, but the noise canceling of the rooms is not so good. Regardless, even at full-price, this hotel is worth it!

The room was great! The location however, a bit far from the train station. When we arrived we didnt know that there was a short cut, so we followed the map, which in turn walk us thru the longer route. With lugagge bags, its a bit of a hassle. The nearest bus stop to the hotel, is at 400m away, at the plaza. So if you are carrying heavy lugagges its better just to get a cab. Otherwise, the room amenities...

In this small town, this hotel's facilities are probably the most modern. However, the Wi-Fi signal is still poor, frequently dropping the connection. The breakfast selection is average. The coffee is the kind that's already brewed in a pot.

Wild and Amazing Wild rooms, a bit over the top for me. Our shower did not drain and took to long to get hot had to waste to much water possibly the worst shower ever. Ate at the Restaurant and the food was amazing.

Clear recommendation! At first we were a bit skeptical because the hotel looked a bit unimpressive from the outside, and even opening the door at the side entrance did not arouse enthusiasm. But when we opened the door to the room, the impression was very positive. The room was large, smelled freshly cleaned and looked modern. The double bed was huge and very comfortable. By far the most beautiful hotel in the area. Very tranquil and perfect if you're looking to be outside of downtown. However, I wouldn't put "fresh" on the menu if that's not the case! It was obvious the desserts we're packaged. Could use some new beds/better bedding.

The Hotel Restaurant Grünwald is a inner place where you can find good air to breath and peace. Everything is well placed and organized with a good sense of order, simplicity, creativity and elegance; the restaurant and meals reflect the same sensitivity. I slept in Grünwald for business but if I visited Asbach just for pleasure I would book at the same place.

The rooms were great, comfy and roomier than I thought. The location was great, and having a restaurant below was awesome to get food when we were hungry while staying there. Breakfast food and service was really good and filling. Evening dinner was good too, good variety of german cuisine, but we had slow service because the server was new.

The hotel was very urban and beautiful, despite the rural surroundings.
