Nice family owned hotel at a good location. We were here for a weekend seminar, and the place is nice. You can tell it’s family owned because everything is well cared for and just has this thought through vibe

Good mix between classic and modern. Unfortunately, the lady at the reception (the most important person in the hotel chain) was unfriendly. Doesn’t make me feel welcome at all. That’s why I had to take a star away

A good hotel in a nice city in the north of Germany. The Biergarten is good as well the rooms are comfortable, a little outdated but due to romantic interior no issue at all.

Irma Grese lived here a couple of days after her trial. Than went straight to the gallows. Her body rested in the courtyard of this prison- now hotel. I do not believe her body was exhumed

Very decent hotel for the price, the ratio between cost and quality is really high! The hotel is in a great position, 5 minutes walk from the city center, you have space for a car in the nearby garage, the rooms are very big with nice bathrooms and the breakfast is fine as well

However, the hotel staff tried to be helpful and friendly. The hotel's picturesque location on the River called “Weser”offered a charming view and easy access to the old town, enhancing the overall ambiance

We spent four nights at the Hotel an Der Altstadt and the hotel cannot be faulted for cleanliness and order. The staff were particularly friendly and most of them spoke excellent English

The breakfasts were also excellent. On our final day we had to leave very early to catch a train and breakfast was still provided even though it was much earlier than the stipulated hours

Booked as an overnight stop between Berlin and Europoort. What a choice! Spotless, just been done up, huge comfy quiet room, lift if you need it, friendly staff, all of them, decent breakfast

Location bang close to town centre, armed with supplied map explored the historic town littered with 3/4 hundred year old buildings. Parking on site, what more do you need?

I'm still a guest in this hotel, and it's amazing, very close to everything, walking distance from the historical center. I recomend strongly this hotel.

Lovely owners. Great place to store the bikes. The only room on our trip with a tub for an after ride day soak. Fantastic breakfast as well.

A nondescript hotel in a very quiet town. Rats and pipers everywhere (of course) and cubicle rooms have little style, but clean, good shower and good (hassle free, no cost) Wi-Fi

The hotel seems to be on the low end what Mercure can offer in their chain. There is good breakfast though.

Overall its a great place to stay with modern amenities. Perfect location as you can walk anywhere. Beautiful breakfast buffet. Restaurant is a bit pricey but has a nice atmosphere.

Comfortable hotel on the edge of the old town. Nicely situated next to a park and the market. Room was clean, had a nice view. Breakfast was served in the restaurant and the choice in food and beverages was quite large

The breakfast is Wow: Marvelous, very tasty, and high quality. Everything was home made and so nice. 6 people taking very good care of us. Mint tea on fresh herbs, and amazing pear, avocado, pine nuts and olive oil salat

Charming, cute place with the perfect breakfast. Also we liked the city for the tale about the rats. I’m glad we stopped by here!

Well located, clean hotel, giving you the experience of an old school German house

When we complained at reception, she responded that she also faces the same issue in her computer. Until the good wifi is not re-established, I would recommend not to book the rooms

We went there as a couple with a dog, the welcome was fantastic. We could easly communicate as the personn at the reception could speak also French.

Hotel Wifi is unstable (disconnected frequently) and unfortunately the mobile network is also poor due to the room's location. We all have faced the same issue

Friendly staff, very clean and well-kept room in a beautiful villa. Breakfast was good too. Hamelin city center is easy to reach on foot. I liked it very well.

Good hotel, garni class. Clean and tidy breakfast in order. Personally, I missed the scrambled eggs.

Super great and clean rooms, breakfast was very good and plentiful. The staff and the boss very friendly and helpful. I can only recommend everyone to stay there. Definitely will go back.

The rooms are cozy and lovingly furnished, it is quiet, there are parking spaces directly at the house, the hotel is centrally located in the middle of the old town, the breakfast is great, the owners are nice and helpful

My wife and I stayed in the old town cradle on September 28th, 2021 during a bike tour on the Weserradweg. The staff was very accommodating. The room was clean and well equipped

I felt very comfortable in this lovely little hotel

Lavish breakfast and one of a kind rooms, some with weird window glass others old timey and cosey, in our room we could hear those above us from time to time. Doesn't matter that much though
