All in all, it is an excellent choice, located in the heart of the old town
Virtually all of the historical points of interest as well as dozens of great restaurants are within a few minutes walk from the front door. Rooms were quiet and high quality
We really loved the Hotel Christinenhof. The owners and staff were unfailingly gracious and helpful. We would return in a heartbeat and recommend it to anyone.
Off course there is a Glockenspiel and you can cross the Weser river to a small island and enjoy good food, wine and beer in one of the outdoor restaurants
The top score must go to the breakfast chef. I recommend other hotels should visit to see how to create the best breakfast

My dad and I had the breakfast buffet here. It was fantastic: An impressive array of continental rolls, meats, cheeses, salmon and eggs, with cereals, yogurt and fruit alongside
They also had bacon and scrambled eggs so a huge choice and all extremely tasty. 50 per person and we definitely ate our money’s worth. A return trip is on the cards for sure!

We spent four nights at the Hotel an Der Altstadt and the hotel cannot be faulted for cleanliness and order. The staff were particularly friendly and most of them spoke excellent English
The breakfasts were also excellent. On our final day we had to leave very early to catch a train and breakfast was still provided even though it was much earlier than the stipulated hours

Quiet, comfortable, clean and wonderfully friendly small Italian-themed hotel, excellently situated in the Altstadt and very near the Weser. The only drawback was a somewhat quirky WiFi connection, but so what!
When we complained at reception, she responded that she also faces the same issue in her computer. Until the good wifi is not re-established, I would recommend not to book the rooms
We went there as a couple with a dog, the welcome was fantastic. We could easly communicate as the personn at the reception could speak also French.

Most attractive hotel, well located. The bonus was that our arrival was delayed - transport issues - but we were checked in with a smile. Having the facility of a balcony overlooking the garden was an additional plus.
