It was Quiet and spacious, food was good breakfast also good. Bedroom was clean and large, very nice and confortable

Outstanding local cuisine featured with other German and European dishes. Friendly efficient service run by family. Nice atmosphere indoors and with beautiful outdoor garden eating area. Definitely worth a visit.

The rooms are fair the breakfast is adequate but the dinner is just overpriced. The area surrounding Hechtsberg is awesome if you enjoy a hike in the forest.

I get to Germany from the US. My hotel I normally stay was closed because I got there at 10:30 pm and they were gone! Everyone was sold out or to far (1 hour or further away). Very good kitchen and food. The breakfast selection at the breakfast is very small. The whole facility is in very good condition but the hotel is in the middle of nowhere! All in all a clear recommendation for a short stay!

Lovely room above a Greek restaurant. Close to the train station and walking distance to the Blackforest Open Air Museum (well worth a trip). The bed was very comfortable and there was everything you need for a short stay. We ate at the restaurant and the food was great.

We stayed in a room which looked directly over the Canal, to our delighted surprise. Made for a very pleasant spot to relax! Our host was very welcoming and friendly, and we enjoyed our breakfast.

The accommodation was very clean. The parking lot at the house can be used. Very friendly hosts and staff. Great breakfast. We would happily stay there again.

Great place to stay on the Westweg rail and very good value for money. Nice room and wonderful dinner (I highly recommend to eat here). The old lady who is running the guesthaus is amazing, she can speak 5 different languages which is pretty rare, especially in the black forest where I met only few people who could speak English.

Wonderful family hotel and restaurant with a very special charm and great rooms, owner-managed by the gracious family Pastor! Great cuisine with typical dishes and seasonal, varied dishes, which are sweetened by a homemade Black Forest cake for dessert! Me and my wife can highly recommend this location, that i we visit multiple times a year!

During my business trip for 5 days, I stayed here. Frau Pastor and her husband were very accommodating and made my stay very comfortable. The food is also very nice, and the homemade cheesecake was amazing! The bed was comfortable and the room was nice. I would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend to you.

5+5 Stars. This place was amazing. When we checked in iirenea greeted us and informed us of things to do. Room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. All the linen and towels were crisp and clean. When we were leaving we asked about dinner. I told her my wife wanted Jagerschnitzel. It was not on the menu and she said she could make it. We came back and told her we would be back in 30 min. for dinner...

This beautiful little guest house was amazing! Friendly people, delicious breakfast brought straight to our table, more then what we could eat. Very quiet and romantic and perfect for the last part of our honeymoon! Close to the train station to walk, with the bus stop right out front, and to top it off, they have a guest pass for the local transportation which allowed us to explore and do so much...

Very good hotel in the beautiful black forest landscape. Very nice rooms and very quiet and relaxing atmosphere. I've been there on a business trip but I will come back on holiday next time. Restaurant with very high quality food. Very kind staff.

Very nice and cosy restaurant. We had diner and it was amazing. The quality of the food is very good. Also the red Italian bio wine is wonderfull. If you are in the neighbourhood you should try this restaurant. The hotel also looks good, but we didn't stay thé night. Very friendly staff and wonderfull location.

We enjoyed our stay at Kirnbacher Hof. It's a luxurious stay with spa and dine facilities. Staff were super friendly and welcoming. Dining was also great! I tried the Tuna main course and it was delicious. This place is roughly about 30 mins drive to Triberg and about 1 hour drive to Freiburg. 3 families were having lunch in the restaurant and the food is superb. A little bit of waiting time but still worth it. We were kind of surprise to find good food here in this rural area. They have also a playroom for the kids because they know the kids couldn't sit still on the chair :)

The hotel is very clean and modern. The staff and owners were phenomenal and very friendly. The restaurant was AMAZING! Their food is 5 stars. We had a great experience from the moment we checked in until we checked out. Highly recommended!

Great food and a nice clean restaurant. Ate outside and enjoyed the company. Really good food and friendly staff. Tomato soup and goulash are two items you have to order. Schnitzel has awesome flavor and is tender enough to cut with a fork. Good bier selection. Have a few while u eat then head around and explore the area afterwards.

We liked everything about the hotel and staff. The hotel was clean and comfortable, the staff were helpful and friendly. Room was great, with view of creek and valley. Position in the country was great, you have to have transportation to get there, but that is good because your not in town!!

WONDERFUL! The owners are lovely hosts and the food was exquisite! The Pfefferlingen dishes were very savoury! The room was very charming, and far enough away from the tourists, snd there's a lovely trail to walk! We will certainly be back! Vielen danke! Chris

Amazing hotel. Really clean and what a great location. Stayed for the nite and would of stayed longer if we could. Great breakfast bar and coffee is made to order. Take a walk while I r there and sleep with the windows open. Tucked away in the mountains so u don’t have to worry about the hassle of town. Free parking.

The staff is very helpful. The family sized room is excellent. The single beds for the children is especially nice. The area is lovely and we are so happy to stay here.

Unbeatable location in the forest, wonderful food and service. 1) The location is in beautiful small village of St. Roman, set far back from civilization and surrounded by the black forest. Much of this hotel is quality, but certain details let it down. It does not cater well for children, as the clientele is older generally. There is a slaughterhouse opposite the hotel which slaughters pigs and the noise is quite disturbing. The half board does not include children, so costs can escalate. Most loungers by the pool are reserved all day. Free drinks are limited, only full sugar drinks...

Really lovely hotel, with a great breakfast and Spa! The staff is very friendly and the location beautiful. The only thing that I didn't quite meet my expectations is the dinner. It was way too salty and a bit dry. But the desserts and salats were perfect! Would definitely recommend and visit again.
