Nice hotel to stay, especially with the stones and roomnames, what comes back at breakfast etc. Very nice friendly employees, nice clean modern rooms, quiet. Restaurant is simple but good, few choices to order but good. surroudning and to explore Idar-Oberstein this is a nice option if you don't want to stay in the centre. Business good to work relaxed as we did.

It was a very nice experience staying at the hotel. The staffs are very friendly and the price are also fair. The hotel rooms are pretty clean and the location is amazing if you like to do more of walking or hiking. It was a bit private place, not much noise from outside. Just pure Nature. This is a very very good option in Idar Oberstein. I visit the town every year for buying stones at the local supplyers. This time i've tried the Kristall and it has been a wonderful surprise. This is my 2nd stay at this boutique hotel.  The owner communicates well in English.  The owner’s family is very helpful whenever I have questions..  The room is extremely clean and well maintained.  Makes my  travel comfortable and memorable.  Breakfast is aways a delightful start of the day.

Got there at 21.55, friendly welkome at reception and precise given instructions/explanations. Very clean hotel, room, very comfy beds, 24/7 autoservice for drinks and snaks downstairs and the most delicious breakfast. I believe the surroundings are nice too, pitty we only got there during night and left too early. Deffinitely a place to go again for a longer duration.

The stay was very successful. The hotel is in the centre of Morbach and has parking right outside the door. The room was very clean and bed very comfortable. The breakfast was also very excellent! There was a huge amount of choice. The idea of making your own waffles was great! The hosts were very helpful and very friendly! Highly recommended!

At the time of my visit the hotel was undergoing renovation and modernization without any restrictions. Three of us stayed here for one night (2 adults and 1 dog). The room was very clean and even had a kitchenette, allowing for a longer stay and self catering. The price is in the upper mid range, which is totally justified. The breakfast was plentiful and had a little bit of everything. You are kindly asked if you want coffee or scrambled eggs. The owner will spoil you.

Interesting B&B concept, in which you can use the living and kitchen area of ​​the host for the delicious breakfast and are also allowed to use it elsewhere. Stylish hotel in a quiet location directly on the golf course. Service and food were very good.

A really nice hideaway in a quiet and very green area of the Saarland. The rooms are space, the wellness and spa area is new, clean and invites to relax and the different golf courses can be reached in less than a minute. MTB courses and walking tracks are nearby. The staff is absolutely amazing, friendly and helpful. Will definitely come back!

I couldn't have stayed at a better place. The service provided at the Wendels was exceptional. It really helped that breakfast was prepared in the mornings and the service that was rendered was very tasteful. I like that fact that the room had a DVD player with movies. A Gem of a Place Beautiful location overlooking the Mosel River. Park the car in the public lot and walk about 300 meters to the hotel. Room key is in the lockbox and easy to access once you have the code. We had breakfast at the restaurant located down the street from the hotel and it was fantastic. We enjoyed the Weihnachten Festival just down the street from the hotel (100 meters).

We had a very nice room with a roof terrace and a view of the Moselle, everything was clean and well-kept. It's a historic building, so I can see the light soundproofing in the rooms. The only drawback, we booked with a dog. Breakfast included. But the dog is not allowed to stay alone in the room? But not in the breakfast room either... uhmmm, how am I supposed to have breakfast then, please? Therefore...

Just got back from a 3-night stay at this beautiful hotel. The first thing to say is that the customer service could not have been better. Every staff member was friendly, accommodating and very helpful. The spa facilities are gorgeous and wonderfully kept. I had two treatments, very relaxing. The food and wine was delicious. Sat on the riverside terrace, very lovely to be fair. Took a while to get served, staff on duty went from 1 to 3 suddenly so someone came to our table. A few nice things on the menu but zero vegan options including the potato soup. We were hungry and could not eat, had a drink and left. Absolutely perfect one night stay. Suites are stunning with a view straight over the Mosel and across the bridge to the town. Nice clean rooms, nice breakfast, but hostess is no longer friendly if we didn't buy wine from them. In the evening it is not allowed to sit in the guest room and it is not possible to get coffee, tea or soft drinks.

Thank you for the week! We have fond memories of the Löwen family. Both the senior citizens and the boss made every effort and looked after the guests. The best staff I have ever had help us! We showed up late and they still served us dinner and made us warm drink too warm up after 12 hours on bicycle! Room was great and we slept amazingly also! The Cabins are realy nice, clean on arrival and updated. There is however poor WIFI connections. At the pool, you will need coins to store your clothes and such, but there is no availability to get money or change ro smaller at the location.
