Nice hotel to stay, especially with the stones and roomnames, what comes back at breakfast etc. Very nice friendly employees, nice clean modern rooms, quiet. Restaurant is simple but good, few choices to order but good. surroudning and to explore Idar-Oberstein this is a nice option if you don't want to stay in the centre. Business good to work relaxed as we did.

It was a very nice experience staying at the hotel. The staffs are very friendly and the price are also fair. Room and bathroom very clean, the mattresses were very comfortable, firm but not hard, just the way we need them. Breakfast was really good, you can also get scrambled or fried eggs. Absolutely 5/5 rating for these guys. Very awesome to work with. Really great place and great service. They are on a main drag of town which is nice for getting into the freeway quick but also traffic starts early and if you have your windows open you’ll hear em. The stay was very successful. The hotel is in the centre of Morbach and has parking right outside the door. The room was very clean and bed very comfortable. The breakfast was also very excellent! Three of us stayed here for one night (2 adults and 1 dog). The room was very clean and even had a kitchenette, allowing for a longer stay and self catering. The price is in the upper mid range, which is totally justified. The breakfast was plentiful and had a little bit of everything. You are kindly asked if you want coffee or scrambled eggs. The owner will spoil you.

This hotel is situated on a beautiful 3x 9 holes golf course. So, ideal to stay while playing there. The rooms are very good, the food is excellent, but the service is very bad. Especially in the restaurant where they 'throw' your meal, 'poor' your drinks and behave very unfriendly. This is a nicely designed hotel with a strong focus on golf, making it a great choice for a short golf getaway. on the last evening of our stay we wanted to give the small hotel restaurant a chance. and were surprised. you can expect really good, honest BUT simple home-style cooking in the restaurant zur post. no tourist trap! the food here is much better than the food that you can get in the relevant restaurants in the old town. these "top" rated tourist traps were all a horror from a culinary point of view...

Perfect dinner after a long autumn's day that turned a bit chilly at a the end. A warm soup, Schnitzel with hunters sauce and a salad from the buffet, all for a really reasonable price, combined with a good Riesling raised the mood. The really friendly staff did the rest to make this a success.

Great location and friendly staff. Room was a bit dated, and bed was not very comfortable. Loved having an extra space ("conservatory") but the couch was old and sagging. Parking was a ways down the street and there didn't seem to be a way to drive to the front of the hotel to drop off luggsge. Breakfast buffet on the other hand was amazing, though no coffee refills were offered.
