Room was a good size, very clean and comfortable. The bed sheets and towels were very soft and luxurious. Very good breakfast, with lots of locally produced food. Earlier reviews mention no English - this has obviously changed, as all the staff we met spoke English, and many signs were in both English and German.

Nice themes in the rooms, but overall not as perfect as we expected. The breakfast was fine. A few meters from the hotel is some bar and people there are very loud at Fridays. Perfect location and typical german architecture.

My wife and I have been guests at the Hotel Werbetal a number of times. The stay is always a very special experience! The comfort rooms with a view of the lake are very cozy and tastefully furnished. The absolute highlight every time is the warm service and the excellent food! The Gerlach family and all of the staff go to great lengths and you can tell. We will be back definitely! -S. Big

The whole hotel is very clean! The rooms are spacious and functional. The staff is very friendly and attentive. A compliment to the kitchen: the breakfast was plentiful and there was something for every taste. In the evening we had a delicious meal in a nice atmosphere. Always my pleasure!

Gem of a hotel, superb value supported by an excellent restaurant. One very small gripe, they need to provide Internet. The so called WiFi is very very slow and there is no or little Mobile coverage in the area.

I stayed here a few days during a business trip. This hotel has everything you need. The staff is so friendly and helpful. They realy take care about their guests. The rooms are also clean and nice. If i will stay again nearby. I'll choose this hotel again for sure.

Very nice welcome from the head of the house. He even took us to the room !! We had booked a deluxe room, this was also very nice and clean. Two swans were decorated with towels and sat on the bed, great. We were looking for a restaurant. And found the Swan King. It was great. There was a large play area for the kids. Drinks and food were quickly absorbed. The food is freshly prepared so there was a hint that it would take 30 minutes (is also on the menu). No problem at all for us. Is very centrally located in Medebach, you can do a lot on foot. What I personally missed: Minibar, safe and possibly kettle, which can now be found in almost every hotel. What I liked: The push in the bathroom under the sink, someone thought of us women🤗 And no carpet, I find it very hygienic 👍🤗 There are enough parking spaces. The VW dealer has an e-charging station just across the street.

Everything to our satisfaction. The service was very friendly, the breakfast was great for accommodation in this price range and the room was very clean. The bathroom is definitely no longer up to date and is a few years old, but cleanliness is obviously still taken care of here. Clear recommendation.

Old country hotel with history. The house is clean and tidy. Ms. Heing a very friendly and accommodating host. The breakfast with rolls, sausage, cheese, spreads, fruit, eggs ... delicious coffee. Perfectly adequate. We were allowed to park our motorcycles in a large garage free of charge. Thanks for the hospitality.

Super friendly lady, lots of good and clear explanations and tips. Cozy apartment, large and practical. Separate parking space for our car. Also garage provided for bicycles, with charging points, unfortunately only 2 available.

The facilities are amazing. However the room should be properly cleaned prior to the check in.

Wellness not included, bowling costs €30,-. This not communicated behorehand, never been in a hotel which offers a sauna, but asks money for it. We booked this hotel because of those two elements, so this was a pitty.

It's great that there is a bridge connecting the hotel room and the water park building, so we didn't need to wear big jackets to the water park and could take a nice shower in the hotel afterwards.

In the Centerparcs hotel, the rooms were freshly renovated, the bathroom redesigned and modern, and the furniture in the room stylish and comfortable. A large flat screen TV as well as a coffee machine and mini fridge are standard, as well as a safe in the closet. We particularly liked the new bathroom.

We come here regularly for a midweek, both in summer and winter, actually all year round. Always in a hotel room with an associated breakfast. If you are a bit careful, you can stay here for very reasonable prices. A great fun swimming pool, nice market dome with facilities for the inner person. The park is huge and nicely arranged. The houses are well maintained, nicely furnished, good equipped and very clean. The facilities in the park are great for children and the ski slopes are just a 20 mins car drive away.

Location overlooking the Eder Dam, the castle buildings and various views available.

If you can make the hike to the top the view will absolutely be worth it. I made a video of it for you to see here. Don't worry if it is a long drive up the hill, right before the top their is a bathroom stop amongst all the parking spots, the cleanest bathroom I've seen in my life. You should check it out to see how accurate I am. There is also a restaurant and gift shop inside the castle.

This is a true family hotel and apparently dating back to medieval times. The hotel is a maze of corridors and connected buildings. We stayed for 1 night in a very sizable room (w/o kitchen that comes at an additional 12.5 E) . The room has a nice bathroom, a balcony , a couch and yes a TV set. Nice restaurant, run by a Dutch person. Was a surprise to hear Dutch in Germany. I ordered "stoofpotje" which was made with Guinness. That was actually nice. They recommended Grolsch to go with that which was a suggestion ( I would never have picked that beer). Good combination.

The room was clean and very welcoming. Much like you would expect from the picture. However, the service gets unfriendly as soon as you ask them for any favours, such as being allowed to arrive a bit later or to use a table after you’ve checked-out in order to get some work done.

It was great, we wore there for the lake, and we walked down from the hotel. lucky us, they have a chairlif near the road so you can easily be up there. On my birthday they give us free sect.

This hotel is a very beautiful hotel, with friendly staff. The spa facilities are very good. Swimming pool inside and outside, sauna in and outside. Bad Arolsen is also a very nice little town . We had a beautiful room ( junior suite ) with very good beds. Breakfast was very good. If possible we certainly will retain here.

We are visiting from another country and got to the hotel past early morning. We were in need to find a room and Krebs was absolutely amazing. He helped us with every single thing and did not leave our side until we were all set up. He went back and forth to help us and also spoke excellent English which helped since we do not speak Dutch. Great location (by car), walking distance to low key slopes. Service can be improved, everything is quite confusing and unclear, dinner was sold out by 5pm. Breakfast is ok, beds are too hard but overall the family room is roomy and comfortable.

Hotel is a bit dated but still fine. Room was clean, swimming pool and sauna unfortunately not very clean. One side the rooms have a really nice view, unfortunately the ground floor had the parking in front of their window. Plenty parking, no EV charging available at hotel.

The hotel is very nice and quiet, has both a pool and a sauna for the adults and a games room, a rabbit hutch and lots of play options around the hotel for the children. The staff and owners are nice and accommodating. There is a place for e-bikes inside and there is a lot to experience nearby. Hikes, bike tours, the Skywalk Willingen and the summer toboggan run are just some of the possibilities....

Foods, locations and the staff are very friendly plus the Atmhosphere was great!

It was just what we needed after a very long hike. A good schnitzel, large beer, and that warm atmosphere only Germany seems to be able to provide. Rooms was very large and very clean, a very comfortable bed. We slept like babies. Breakfast was nice as well.

Friendly welcome, beautiful surroundings and clean rooms. Breakfast was good and varied, swimming pool a bit cold but nicely furnished. Unfortunately we couldn't open the window at night because there was no mosquito net.

We stayed for 2 nights and I was really at peace with everything, the owner was incredibly friendly and always asked if everything was good. It's always a pleasure to come back to the hotel from a short trip on the Edersee. We recommend . Thank you for a great stay.

We were there 9 nights and unfortunately we only found the peace and quiet that we had hoped for to a limited extent. At the end of the sudden construction of a prefabricated house, plus barking dogs and some room changes. Very cozy, delicious breakfast and lots of coffee ☕. The owner is very friendly and helpful, even checks the bus schedule on the network for us to see when and where we can go to Korbach. Nothing can go wrong there!

The stay was too short but our time was also limited. We do plan to revisit this area in the future.

Very nice pension in the heart of the mountain town of Landau. The rooms are very clean, the owners are very friendly and always try to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The schnitzels are also highly recommended. All in all, fully recommended.
