Tropical Island itself is quite nice. Unfortunately, they don't just close one of the two pools, they close one pool completely, and then you're only allowed to swim in the second pool in a very small, cordoned-off area. This doesn't reflect what's promised on the website. Unfortunately, the mattress in the safari tent where we slept was broken and torn, and the fresh sheets were bloody with old stains...

We arrived late with the camper and were able to spend the night there in a relaxed manner. Registration for the campsite (access from 10:00 a.m.) has been moved to the main registration area.

Very good value for money. Warm welcome from the owner. Brand new rooms, fresh and modern decoration. Very comfortable beds - we slept solo well ! Double going windows, however you can still hear a tiny bit of the rare trains passing by. Possibility to park bikes in a safe garage. Beautiful location, next to an almost private lake. The room are distributed in 4 in recently constructed bungalows. The spaces are moderately large but with narrow beds and standard furniture. They can host very nicely large families since every group could have one room in the same bungalow. I think is perfect for short stays.

Ideal situation very close to autobahn. We used it to stop over on our way to and from Praha. The rooms were satisfactory and the price was acceptable. If you don't know it, a small but nice experience. It's just a pity that the attached restaurant closes at 8 p.m. When the weather is bad, you just sit in your barrel. The hospitality and the hosts, the Hanschik family, are great and very friendly. I can recommend sleeping in the barrel.
