Where to stay in Krefeld

The hotel is in a really nice, quiet forest location, which made it very peaceful and relaxing. The surroundings were definitely the highlight of the stay. However, the rooms were quite old and outdated, and unfortunately not very clean. The sink in our room was also broken, which was disappointing. Overall, a lovely location, but the rooms could really benefit from better maintenance and updates.

Nice stay, needed to be at Messe Düsseldorf and had the car with me, so this was a good option. Are in the bar which was great - friendly staff. Good room, decent shower, nice to have a fridge.

Lovely hotel in a very quiet area. We had a great dinner last night, so little noise around. Easy to find and very clean. We came with our 2 dogs which was not a problem. We will be back!

It was a bit confusing where to park. All outside spaces where taken and no sings to direct for underground parking. You could also put more signs in the underground parking to direct guests towards hotel entrance. It's a shame there is no EV charging points especially there is underground parking. Lost opportunity I suppose.

We had room 143. The safe was broken, the air conditioning didn't work on a very hot weekend. The shower water took ages to drain away. The maid just knocked & came in even though we had a do not disturb sign on the door. Its out in the middle of no where, so not very convenient for anything apart from the golf course next door. Really clean and spacious rooms with comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Hotel breakfast doesn't have many options (only beans and scrambled eggs as warm options) and there were always too few tables to sit down. I'd had to sit on bar stule and dine.

It is only a stone's throw away from the client's office and there is a highly acclaimed restaurant nearby, which provides great convenience for business negotiations and dining. It brings a great experience.

It is just over 10 minutes' drive from Düsseldorf Airport and there is free parking on site.

The hotel is relatively clean. The air conditioning in the room cannot be turned on, but fortunately there is heating. The surrounding environment is elegant and it is very convenient to travel by car, but it is still a little far from the city.

I had my room in the "Kutschhaus". Very friendly and cosy rooms. The Internet was excellent. It seemed very new and well maintained. The bathroom was spacious and the shower really nice. The restaurant is a big plus, especially if you like wine and typical german food.

Comfortable rooms, a good restaurant, and great ambience. Good location just on the edge of the village, and right near the walking/biking paths. Not modern by American standards, but charming nonetheless.

In general the stay was better than expected. Just two details: actually the location is not in active zone of the city, and the rooms vere much too hot for us Finns. As said, everything else was just marvellous.

Very clean. Right near the train station. City 1 minute away.

De accomodation itself was good. The carpet might be a little bit old and can be renewed. The hygene is decent. The room is spacious! Which is the best part and the personal and guests were very nice. The neighborhood needs some getting used too, but after that you'll find the people to be nice.

Close to the station and trams. Lots of roadworks going on when we were there but wasn’t an issue. Comfortable bed and good shower, fine as a base. Walk into the centre of town for a proper breakfast. Checked in online and was emailed the code, no hassle.

The room smells big and the space is small

The room is very clean, with very high space utilization. It is located next to Krefeld Station, with a subway station just outside. The breakfast quality is great, but it is the same every day. Germans don't drink hot water, the only hot thing is coffee. The guy at the hotel front desk is very handsome and nice.

It is what it says . IBIS budget. I have no complaints . Check in was easy. Room was clean with a comfy bed. Bathroom perfectly fine. Located a hop skip and jump from train station and tram stop. Great for one or two nights. Although basic it suited our needs

Small family hotel, older style. The rooms are not large but very comfortable. The breakfasts are included and adequate. The staff are wonderful and always available to help. Transport links are great also with the trams stopping just out front. The room rate is very reasonable. The hotel is not far from Castle Linn, the original centre for this area. The are many restaurants available close by.

Just passing through, I chose this somewhat old fashioned hotel. I chose this since everything in my price range seemed fully booked in Düsseldorf and the cheaper hotels in the area seemed quite bad. Satayed there multiple times over the years - always happy. Comfortable rooms, great breakfast, free internt, great location with restaurants around the place and plenty of free designated parking spots. Staff always friendly...recommend it

Good hotel with friendly staff. If you arrive outside check-in time they'll leave key on a key box. It's a three star hotel and it's exactly that. Breakfast decent as well.

Room was large and clean. The Staff was friendly and helpfull. Parking is easy. It was peacefull even at Christmas and New Year. The hotel area has a lot potential, have to come back at summertime what it looks like when the sun is shining.

Very beautiful hotel and property. The rooms on third floor are spacious, have a full kitchen and offer wonderful views Theriot through roof windows. The bedroom window offers a terrific view of the night sky right above the bed! The bathroom features a shower that is much too small and a good soaking tub. A nice feature is the towel drying rack that is very good for drying small batches of laundry...

I didn't think it was good at first, but later I felt that the environment was very clean.

We really liked the renovated accommodation. The mattress, shower, and everything were really excellent. We were even able to check in a little early. I can't comment on the noise level from the street, but it's absolutely quiet from the courtyard. Really good value for money.

The room itself was good and clean besides the fact that there is no air conditioner. But there is a fan. The area around is super quite. The receipton doesnt work 24/7. If you cone to hotel late, you will need to open the door by yourself. Did not feel safe.

Everything was ok, the breakfast room was very dark, so I skipped breakfast. The bed for the single is much too narrow. I don't need a 140 bed, but when I turned over I was worried about falling out of bed. Why so narrow in a big room and what a strange bed, like a camping lounger???

The staff are friendly and it was clean and tidy. This was a good stop over for me because they have an Electric Vehicle charger. It cost €25 but it was worth it because I was fairly low on charge. Also, they reserved the space for me and it was a quick charge.

The people at this hotel are wonderful and very responsive. I loved the old world charm and the centralized location. The bed and the room were comfortable, and the buffet breakfasts had a wide array of offerings. I would stay here again and again.

I recently spent a weekend with my husband at the Hotel-Restaurant Benger and the experience was consistently positive. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable, the rooms were cozy and clean, and the breakfast was plentiful and had something for everyone. Very convenient option for basic needs, bit outdated classic interior and furniture but all was kept in great condition, fast check in, run by kind welcoming family who lives in the place, the beds was very comfortable with ability to raise the head electrically to recline position. Breakfast was rich and tasty, checking out was fast too. Plenty of car parking spaces and supermarket across the street

Nice and comfortable if you are in a business trip in the area. Very nice hospitality. Good breakfast. Will be good to serve more vegetables and to offer water in the rooms daily. Close to Dusseldorf Messe so make it very easy to come and go.

The rooms are simple but functionally well furnished. The cleanliness is very good. The breakfast buffet is simple but very good: fresh fruit, rolls, yoghurt, spreads, juices, etc. Only the communication can be a bit bumpy. But that doesn't detract from the good overall impression. i would come back

I personally find the hotel overpriced. It's clean... But that doesn't justify the price of €75 per night. Which was not good before you got the key I had to pay in advance!

Lovely place - beautifully renovated barn, extremely clean and tidy. Nicely arranged interiors and comfortable beds. Breakfast - everything was very fresh and tasty. Helpful and attentive staff. And a super-pretty Eveline, who serves best coffee! Plus her cute dog Bogdan, that reminds me my 3 pupils, who cannot travel so far.

Contrasts that only marriages offer. Top-notch staff, you could say a dream! But unfortunately, that doesn't apply to the cleaning ladies...repeatedly found strange hair (bed, bathtub...) and dust...after shaking out the towel, a shower-related evacuation was necessary...But once you'd put yourself in the hands of the "catering team" for breakfast in the morning, you almost didn't know what was bothering...

Location on the 8th - 10th floors of a building block. Reception on the 10th floor. Rooms were basic but spacious.1 small lift fitting only 1-2 people with luggage.

Hotel has seen better days. Not so clean as we expected. Wifi not available in our rooms (too far from reception). Breakfast average not to say poor. Affordable place ir you nees just shower and bed.

We haven’t seen a single person while staying there apart from some nutjob wandering around and asking for his tablets / telephone. The reception was closed when we arrived at night (we used self check-in service, you need to call the number that is listed at the self check-in box) and it was still closed in the morning. The room we got is not the best, but probably this is the worst in the hotel. The toilet is outside of the room but other rooms have own toilettes in the broom. But the breakfast for 7.5 is very good quality.
