Where to stay in Krefeld

Do not park a touring-coach on the parking besides the hotel...14meter coach it took me half an hour to come off it backwarts!! But the hotel was great.

Very friendly staff. Clean & comfortable rooms. Away from the noisy city center but not too far & walkable & public transportation very close.

Dusty hotel with mostly friendly service. Restaurant is very nice and attentive though. Food changed a lot over the last years, but is currently quite good. (Dusty as in "a bit old fashioned", but definitely clean!)

It's the only IHG Hotel I visited with low service mainly in the reception The receptionist doesn't know anything about loyalty program

Great hotel with very conscientious staff. The room was really comfortable, and the breakfast was great. The only thing that let it down for me was that it didn't have a restaurant for evening meals. It was very reasonably priced with parking.

I stayed here for 2 nights on a business trip and was extremely happy with the room. It was fresh and cozy after a tiring work day. Nothing too special, limited features in the room, was able to get a good night's sleep. Although the room was a little cold when I arrived, but that's down to personal preference. Only stayed for one night after work, breakfast on the following day was great, big selection buffet from cereal all the way to eggs, bacon and sausages. All around if I'm gonna be coming to Krefeld this will be up there...

Breakfast is very good, amenities are also good. Room size is average considering the price. Clean and confortable. Friendly and helpful staff

Nice and clean hotel. Food is nice. Only downside there is no electric plus anywhere near the bed. So if you want to charge your phone it will be on the other side of the bed. And the tv did not have any english channels

Good location, spacious room but the bathroom was smelling extremely unpleasant, esp. The shower. I couldnt see any mold tho. Other than that it was good for the price and from experience of my colleagues one of the good ones in krefeld. Others apparently arent as clean… i cant be the judge of that 🤷‍♀️

I stayed here a couple of nights and enjoyed it. It is conveniently located a short walk from the main train station. It is excellent value for money, but in that price range you only get the basics. My only real disappointment was that the cleaning service failed to come into my room after my first night. However, friends staying there at the same time did not have that experience.

I recently stayed twice at this hotel. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel right at home. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was of high quality products. Location was perfect at walking distance to the city centre. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel and the room were good and clean and the price/quality ratio is ok. I'm just less enthusiastic about the reception. Instead of welcoming you, you will be confronted at the gate with questions about your reservation and whether you had booked a parking space. Good hotel with free parking. Good Wi-Fi and really clean rooms. Its located on the corner of a busy street. That gives some noise especially when you are sleeping at the front. Staff is nice and friendly. Rates are good.

For the price a perfectly acceptable hotel. There is free parking which is not usual for city hotels. The rooms are clean, colourful and have a decent size. Very easy check in and check out. The breakfast selection could be better but it is still decent. Great for one night!

Unfortunately it is Covid times, so no restaurant or bar open, however the breakfast is served in the room, with good quality. Fast WiFi is available without boring passwords.

Nice hotel and staff but the beds were too hard for me, personally. Also, there is a plastic mattress cover that prevents good air flow and I felt uncomfortably hot much of the time.

Clean, fun, a lot of activities can be planned for team buildings. They close the bar at 1am, and cleaning insists on entering rooms at 8am. It is a nice hotel.

Really love staying at this hotel, clean large rooms. Quiet environment and delicious breakfast, with friendly staff. The kids always ask us to stay here when we visit Krefeld, we tried other hotels, this 1 is best so far.

Rooms are good and big. Environment is calm. Have a nice place to have coffee. For Muslims, halal food is a concern. In that case they can try salmon fish with scrambled egg menu or other vegetarian items they offer in the bar which remains open till 12 am

Decent hotel for having a conference or a bigger meeting. It is not new but well maintained. Reception had a difficulty handling bigger group at a check in. Also payment and check out was difficult due to very slow process. Because of this it was not possible to get an invoice directly but sent to mail.

I had my room in the "Kutschhaus". Very friendly and cosy rooms. The Internet was excellent. It seemed very new and well maintained. The bathroom was spacious and the shower really nice. The restaurant is a big plus, especially if you like wine and typical german food.

Comfortable rooms, a good restaurant, and great ambience. Good location just on the edge of the village, and right near the walking/biking paths. Not modern by American standards, but charming nonetheless.

You can check in digitally when you are late. Good hotel, nothing too fancy. Good quality/price ratio. It is next to a bunch of garages. And there is a little pond with grass and benches across the road.

It's what you would expect from an ibis budget hotel. Due to the Coronavirus they are currently not serving any breakfast. The only problem I had is that I couldn't sleep with an open window because the street was too loud. Not the hotels fault, just something to keep in mind.

This hotel is OK but not more. It's really a budget hotel : everything is lower than possible. Apart from the orange juice, I didn't really liked the breakfast. The rooms are simple with toilets and shower. TV is nice. The big negative point is that this hotel is far away from the city center (40mn by tram)

Was not that much good. Staff was bit rude. I was waiting for 20 min for check in. If you are tired and booked room to have some rest. Still you need to fill one form which is again wastage of time. We can expect much better service in other ordinary hotels. So my opinion neither a good hotel nor good service.

If you are looking for a cheap stay with basic needs provided for: this hotel will do very nicely. The rooms are sober, providing no more than necessary, and the breakfast is relatively good for a budget hotel. It is also located close to the central rail station and a nice shopping street. All in all, a rather good budget hotel.

Very good location close to the train station. The rooms are small but clean. The staff could be more friendly.

Room was large and clean. The Staff was friendly and helpfull. Parking is easy. It was peacefull even at Christmas and New Year. The hotel area has a lot potential, have to come back at summertime what it looks like when the sun is shining.

Very beautiful hotel and property. The rooms on third floor are spacious, have a full kitchen and offer wonderful views Theriot through roof windows. The bedroom window offers a terrific view of the night sky right above the bed! The bathroom features a shower that is much too small and a good soaking tub. A nice feature is the towel drying rack that is very good for drying small batches of laundry...

Satayed there multiple times over the years - always happy. Comfortable rooms, great breakfast, free internt, great location with restaurants around the place and plenty of free designated parking spots. Staff always friendly...recommend it

Good hotel with friendly staff. If you arrive outside check-in time they'll leave key on a key box. It's a three star hotel and it's exactly that. Breakfast decent as well.

Hotel has seen better days. Not so clean as we expected. Wifi not available in our rooms (too far from reception). Breakfast average not to say poor. Affordable place ir you nees just shower and bed.

We haven’t seen a single person while staying there apart from some nutjob wandering around and asking for his tablets / telephone. The reception was closed when we arrived at night (we used self check-in service, you need to call the number that is listed at the self check-in box) and it was still closed in the morning. The room we got is not the best, but probably this is the worst in the hotel. The toilet is outside of the room but other rooms have own toilettes in the broom. But the breakfast for 7.5 is very good quality.

We were there with friends. We ate delicious, the kitchen is great, the service was nice and courteous.

The rooms are simple but functionally well furnished. The cleanliness is very good. The breakfast buffet is simple but very good: fresh fruit, rolls, yoghurt, spreads, juices, etc. Only the communication can be a bit bumpy. But that doesn't detract from the good overall impression. i would come back

I personally find the hotel overpriced. It's clean... But that doesn't justify the price of €75 per night. Which was not good before you got the key I had to pay in advance!

Toiletries e.g. body cream, body wash, dental kit etc is not there. Water kettle as well as tea, coffee, milk and sugar pouch is not available in room.

Very convenient option for basic needs, bit outdated classic interior and furniture but all was kept in great condition, fast check in, run by kind welcoming family who lives in the place, the beds was very comfortable with ability to raise the head electrically to recline position. Breakfast was rich and tasty, checking out was fast too. Plenty of car parking spaces and supermarket across the street

Nice and comfortable if you are in a business trip in the area. Very nice hospitality. Good breakfast. Will be good to serve more vegetables and to offer water in the rooms daily. Close to Dusseldorf Messe so make it very easy to come and go.
