Room was large and clean. The Staff was friendly and helpfull. Parking is easy. It was peacefull even at Christmas and New Year. The hotel area has a lot potential, have to come back at summertime what it looks like when the sun is shining.

Hotel cancelled last minute, very disappointed. They blamed a water leakage. However when I called the hotel they have admitted that they have overbooked and were simply taking better offers due to an exhibition in Dusseldorf. This is awful customer service. They offered no compensation or alternatives. Sometimes it is better to stick with a bigger network hotel. I would not recommend Landhotel Classhof.

Positive: large and clean room
Negative: too expensive for what they are offering. i. Despite the fact that they changed the towels every day, they didn't replaced the toilet paper and the shower gel/shampoo. As they don't have a person in the reception from early in the afternoon, we couldn't ask for these. As a result we weren't able to take a shower the last day of our stay.
ii. The breakfast is poor and while it is from 7 to 10, we came at 8:30. The first day the croissants were ended before that time and they informed as that they don't have extra. The second day the same thing happened with the orange juice.
iii. It was unbelievable that the receptionist in a 3-star hotel doesn’t know English ( it was a young lady). That happened to me for my first time in my life for the position of a receptionist.

wonderful hotel and calm place. Cozy room but in the first flor people are walking closed to window and they can see inside. The offer for breakfast was poor.

Very beautiful hotel and property. The rooms on third floor are spacious, have a full kitchen and offer wonderful views Theriot through roof windows. The bedroom window offers a terrific view of the night sky right above the bed! The bathroom features a shower that is much too small and a good soaking tub. A nice feature is the towel drying rack that is very good for drying small batches of laundry ;).
The host Andreas is gracious and the staff is generally friendly in the dining room, though I didn't see them very much. Breakfast spread is very good and custom orders are available. The ducks take over the courtyard during this Fall time and are not happy to be disturbed, but yield way if they have to. :)
