A great place to stay, good room, clean, nice breakfast, good restaurant and local food, and right on the lake.

- No elevator. It was too difficult to carry my luggages through the steps. - Wifi was very slow. + Breakfast was good. + Very close to the lakeside.

Wine list was extensive and predominantly local, we had a fantastic bottle of Lanz Riesling! Breakfasts were typically continental with the added bonus of terrace seating during good weather

The meal we did have was good but at times felt like they were trying a little too hard and letting themselves down on basics like under seasoning the soup

They have a good breakfast buffet. Their 4 course meal at dinner time is great. The personal here are really friendly. The one downside is that they have thick carpet in the rooms

The view over Lake Constance to the Swiss side with the peaks of Säntis and neighboring mountains as well as the Appenzeller Land and Sankt Gallen was breath-taking again and again for a week

Great campsite perfectly positioned on the lake shore and only a 12 minute stroll to the town. In the summer swimming in the lake would be lovely. Very clean facilities & good size, well kept grassy pitches

However showers are excellent & there is paper & soap in the loos so we still give it 5 stars

There is also ‘aire’ type camping in the car park to the front of the site - I think this was 12 euros a night - ok if you just want 1 night

The hotel is in a very good location, near the port and Zeppelin Museum. It is very quiet at night, close to the commercial street, and about a 10-minute walk from Friedrichshafen Train Station

It is written that check-in is at 3 pm, and even if there is an empty room, it will not check in. The breakfast is generally good, in line with the hotel positioning, and the food and drink are relatively rich

Overall I can only recommend this hotel as it’s in the heart of the city. If you book the hotel, I recommend you to book the most expensive room as it’s the best room they have in my opinion

Breakfast was standard but still good. The only thing I wished for was to have an air conditioner in the hotel room because they don’t have one. They do provide fan for the room

The hotel has good accommodations, wonderful amenities (do try the wellness area), a friendly and professional staff, and is in a prime and peaceful location, with easy access to plenty of good shops, and entertainment venue, and fine restaurants (I suggest giving s'Wirtshaus am See on the waterfront a try)

On a recent trip to Friedrichshafen, I had to depart my first hotel for being really poor quality. Looking at what else was available, I was drawn to Hotel City Krone via the reviews and good location

I'd like to specifically mention Stefan, who I interacted a few times at the front desk. He was professional, gracious, and accommodating in a manner worthy of praise

We stayed at the Hotel Knoblauch for 4 nights in a double room with balcony. The rooms were in excellent condition, as was the cleanliness. The staff were very friendly and always greeted you with a smile

The variety of activities was very good but needs some modernization to be competitive. There was a large tennis court which guests could use for free but the racquets and balls were poor quality

The half-Pension dinners for 45 euros seemed like a good value for 5 courses but the quality left a bit to be desired. The breakfast buffet was a bit thin and spread out over 3 different areas
