We booked an overnight stay very spontaneously and luckily got a room. The hotel is beautiful, and the location on Lake Dümmer is very fortunate. Our room was nice and modern. However, there was an unpleasant smell when we walked in (it wouldn't be a bad idea to air out the room before renting it out), and the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. We went on an outing with our singing club and had dinner at the "Haus am See" in the evening. After a short walk directly on Lake Dümmer, 100 meters behind the Haus am See, we were escorted to the club room and asked for our drink preferences. The wait staff was able to answer questions about the origin of the beers and wines from memory, and everyone found their perfect drink. The food was pre-ordered...

The hotel by the lake is simply perfect! The rooms are modern and comfortable, with breathtaking views. The team is incredibly friendly and accommodating, so you immediately feel welcome. The breakfast is varied and delicious, and the dinner is also great – simply first-class! An all-round successful stay.

I can only rate the restaurant. Modern, beautiful dishes. One point deducted because guests were sent home even though there were many free seats.

Had breakfast here with my colleagues! It was really very tasty. The buffet had everything you could want for breakfast. The large room is very modern and comfortably furnished. Will definitely come back!

Good hotel on Dümmer Lake. Restaurant well furnished, large terrace partially covered. The food is very good and tasty, normal today's prices. The drinks menu is varied and good. You can have a good time here, it's worth it. Staff attentive, very nice and friendly. I can't say anything about the rooms, I haven't heard of staying there.

What a lovely hotel. The reception was great, so the holiday can begin. The room is very nice and comfortable. Zur Alten Post is a nice name because it is modern and inviting. You can relax in various places in the garden. Really successful.

My girlfriend and I stayed in this house for a week in September 2021. This house has more than earned its 3 stars. The equipment is of high quality and well-kept. Even the grounds are great. There is even a small pond with a beach chair that invites you to linger. The staff are friendly and helpful. (only the wardrobe in our room didn't quite fit in with the overall picture). Great place to stay. Good food, people and ambiance.

Comfortable beds and our three bed room was huge. The elevator was quite small though and maximum capacity was only 300 kg so we had to use it in turns. We had the grill buffet in the restaurant at that was really good. Good breakfast in the morning.

Osnabruck was a wonderful German city with lots of character and Hotel Westerkamp was the perfect place to stay. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Everything was in working order and clean. Everyone was very friendly and the breakfast buffet was delicious. We'll stay there next time we visit Osnabruck.

Perfect place to stay on a budget near the Osnabrück Hauptbahnhof. Local covid restrictions require guests to upload their 3G documentation before they actually arrive, so don't forget.

Pro : Very clean rooms , well behaved and friendly staff. Extremely accessible - close to railway station. Cons : rooms are very small and kind of cramped. For the same price , you can get bigger rooms in Frankfurt not sure why it costs this much in this small city.

Niche hotel, nice location. Single economic bedroom means really small single room. Otherwise it is typical Best Western standard, so no surprises at all, you know what you can expect.

A comfortable stay close to the city Osnabrück. Parking is for free. Breakfast is delicious. The employees are very friendly. Especially the young in the bar. The only thing can be better is the bed, because it’s make noise once you move your boy.

Beautiful quaint little hotel. I love the vintage feel and the pretty grounds. Stayed here two nights for my cousin's wedding and had an awesome stay. Breakfast was also good. The owner was super polite and very helpful! Highly recommend!!

The room came unexpectedly with an assortment of breakfast items, nothing very impressive, but we hadn't counted on there being any breakfast at all, so that was a bonus. The lady at the reception was very friendly, and even let us use the hostel's spare parking place. The location, very near the inner city, was also a strong point.

Nice hostel with a perfect location in between the train station and the city centre. The rooms are not super nice as everyone has the same key to enter. Also the showers are not the best, privacy wise. The host is super friendly though and will answers all the questions you might have about the area.

Perfect hotel if you don’t want to sleep. Nightclub Alando Palais is ATTACHED too the hotel. Loud music and bass sound vibrated throughout the hotel until 5 am. Apparantly every sat-sun. Even earplugs would not solve this. The staff responded kindly and were understanding of the situation. Very unfortunate because it is otherwise a very nice hotel.

Just stay here, it's perfect. Hotel is beautiful and not your typical Holiday Inn. Do go for an executive room, for more space and a minibar, I would say it's worth it. Recognised for our IHG membership and told the minibar was complementary. You will not regret staying here, even if the price might be a bit higher than other hotels in the area. Worth it = YES.

Parking was easy. Staff at reception were polite and helpful. The decor is lovely. The rooms were nice and clean. We had a lovely view from our room on the first floor. The bathroom was clean and comes with Dove body wash, shampoo, and hand wash. The breakfast was delicious, and there was a good choice of savoury and sweet options. The gym was well equipped too.

City is beautiful, the service was great. But the rooms was not the best. The beds was uncomfortable and the room was very hot with bad air during the night. And it was a lot of noise from the restaurant. Good breakfast and good food in the restaurant.

Old Boutique hotel from 1600's with wooden structure, indeed well maintained. The one less star is mainly for small size of the room. I had a single room but it was too small for the luggage to open also. Do try their Organic Osnabrück Gin 👍

A great hotel, directly by the Altstadt (old town) of Osnabrück. The hotel is modern and comfortable, the rooms spacious and clean. The breakfast buffet has amazing selections. I stayed at the hotel as part of a large conference group, and everything was handled very smoothly. I highly recommend the Steigenberger Hotel Remarque.

An unexpected gem in Osnabrück. Get the executive suite, well worth it! Comfort, staff, spaciousness, luxury fittings and all at five star standard. Had a wonderful albeit short stay and would not look anywhere else next time in the area overnight. Special thanks to the concierge today, that's customer care and people skills at its best.
