Stratmanns Haus am See Hotel

We went on an outing with our singing club and had dinner at the "Haus am See" in the evening.
After a short walk directly on Lake Dümmer, 100 meters behind the Haus am See, we were escorted to the club room and asked for our drink preferences. The wait staff was able to answer questions about the origin of the beers and wines from memory, and everyone found their perfect drink.
The food was pre-ordered. It was plentiful, tasted great, and was beautifully presented. We would love to come back.
Since we didn't stay overnight, I can't rate the rooms.

We booked an overnight stay very spontaneously and luckily got a room.
The hotel is beautiful, and the location on Lake Dümmer is very fortunate.
Our room was nice and modern. However, there was an unpleasant smell when we walked in (it wouldn't be a bad idea to air out the room before renting it out), and the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. Especially in the bathroom. Unfortunately, there were traces of previous guests' hair here and there, the walls hadn't been cleaned properly in a long time, and there was mold in the shower. You'd expect something different from a 4-star spa hotel.
And what we also missed was air conditioning in the room. Luckily, it wasn't too warm outside that day (only 20 degrees Celsius), and it was very warm in the room (3rd floor). I can't imagine what it must be like on a warm summer day, let alone a hot one 🙈.
The breakfast was delicious, and there was something for every taste.

The hotel by the lake is simply perfect! The rooms are modern and comfortable, with breathtaking views. The team is incredibly friendly and accommodating, so you immediately feel welcome. The breakfast is varied and delicious, and the dinner is also great – simply first-class! An all-round successful stay.

Nice hotel and food

I can only rate the restaurant. Modern, beautiful dishes. One point deducted because guests were sent home even though there were many free seats.

Had breakfast here with my colleagues! It was really very tasty. The buffet had everything you could want for breakfast.
The large room is very modern and comfortably furnished.
Will definitely come back!

Good hotel on Dümmer Lake. Restaurant well furnished, large terrace partially covered. The food is very good and tasty, normal today's prices. The drinks menu is varied and good. You can have a good time here, it's worth it. Staff attentive, very nice and friendly. I can't say anything about the rooms, I haven't heard of staying there.
