The place is quite nice for a family with kids and there are many places around to visit. We had a lot of fun and relax.

We stayed one night in this hotel, the restaurant and the reception area of the hotel had been recently renovated but not the rooms. Rooms are basic. You have hair dryer in rooms. The hotel has a big pool and sauna area. Due to COVID we avoided the spa and pool area. Buffet breakfast was included in the room rate. Breakfast selection is basic. Just keep in mind that you need to choose your breakfast...

Good food, very friendly staff, the room was very clean, and the reception staff were professionals. we had problem with the reservation, but they solved it quickly. it would be better if the swimming pool were more lighted and the second sauna on service. but i give the hotel and everything 9/10

We are here today from the ahornhof's back.we were very satisfied.the hotel,the rooms, the food.it was all good.we will be back.and not to the discretion of the cheap price.

Nice and easygoing place with lovely walks a stone's throw. Dog friendly owner. Many rooms have a balcony or terrace (no fence!). Fridge, water cooker, hotplate, some cutlery provided. Rooms are clean and comfy. Food is good and affordable.

Very good kitchen with a very nice selection on the menu. Cosy atmosphere and very friendly professional staff. Price / performance in the Hotel perfectly fine.

Very nice old Inn with very tasty dishes. Just the thing after a long visit to the national Park. We will come back. So far, we have not had to Test the opportunity, how well the beds are...

Very nice old Inn with a cosy Stube. Food expansion. A variety of salads with a green salad and the same Dressing. Operation in the kitchen in low season but something on the back burner.

Food and Hotel is very good. Special praise the controls, the smile even in the biggest Stress. Atmosphere relaxed but professional. Here it comes "down". Ideal starting point for hikes.

One of my favorite restaurants here in the region. No matter what dishes I've eaten here. All were very good. And the portions are normal sized. Price is not overpriced. Employees are always friendly.

In times of Corona there is probably a little staff shortage everywhere. The house tries very hard to make the guests feel good and comfortable. Sometimes things are bumpy in some areas, but the junior boss smooths that out with great care and charm. Family-run and committed.

We felt very comfortable! Breakfast was lovely! The dog trainer Eddy was great! We would always go on vacation with our dog in the Sonnleitn. The owners are great with dogs!

All around great, nice hosts, clean accommodation and outdoor facilities, you don't notice a bit that dogs are with them. The breakfast is varied and tasty, perfectly adequate. I can recommend everyone!

A very nice inn. We sat in the cozy beer garden. The food was delicious and plentiful. The waitresses were very friendly and attentive. Will definitely come back.

We were there for lunch on Mother's Day, there was a special menu for that day. There were also vegetarian dishes on the menu. Food was very tasty and the plates anyway the food was hot, service was always nice and courteous. We found value for money great! Modern restaurant and nicely decorated. There is also an entrance for wheelchair users (barrier-free)

Held our Christmas party here!!! Operation extremely friendly and accommodating! Ambience is upscale class!!! Food is very delicate, but also sufficient, which is not always the case!!! Prices, fortunately, not the class aligned!!! All in all, a very nice evening and I recommend the restaurant and give my review!!! I am happy to come again!!!

We were here in Zwiesel for four days on assembly and stayed at the country hotel. The room was very large with a small kitchen and it also had a balcony with a good view. The staff helpful and very friendly. The breakfast was more than plentiful, just great. We like to come back here.

Very nice welcome on arrival. Rooms spotlessly clean, wellness area small but nice. Unfortunately no water in the container after the sauna .. That was a shame. Breakfast class and dinner for the price as well. The wellness treatments with Mrs. W. were great! We'll be back for sure

I have stayed at this hotel several times now. Most recently in July 2021. I've never been disappointed. The apartments are nicely furnished and clean. The staff is very friendly. Everything is still quite familiar here. The breakfast buffet is not as huge as in large hotels, but you will still be full. The rolls are fresh and the morning breakfast egg is not missing. Will definitely be there again...

We stayed at the Angerresidenz as a family with a dog. Had an apartment on the ground floor in which we felt very comfortable. Nice accommodation, everything clean and super courteous / attentive staff. Had booked with breakfast, that was really perfect! We felt very comfortable.

The anger residence have spent a nice little Hotel in which I now already several times my vacation. The Apartments are beautifully furnished and well equipped. In addition, there is a Spa area with a Sauna and a Spa tub. The staff is friendly and helpful. Above all, it is quite straightforward which suits me very personally. I would recommend this Hotel to anyone.

One star deduction, however, only because the forest sauna village did not open on time at the end of October. Everything else, including the existing swimming pool and the SPA area, are perfect. Spacious rooms and a very tasty breakfast buffet rounded off the stay. The smoking area should perhaps be relocated from the hotel entrance, as the cigarette smoke pulls up into the room through the open windows...

We stayed in this house for 5 nights. It was a very nice and pleasant stay. Very friendly staff, cleanliness in the entire hotel, very nice rooms and, as part of the gourmet board, a very tasty breakfast and dinner. Thank you for the nice days.

I don't usually write reviews, but this time it's a matter close to my heart. An extremely accommodating, family-run hotel despite the size. Without exception, the employees are nice, polite and very attentive. The cleanliness is absolutely to be highlighted! From start to finish, the staff was very nice and met our every need. We had our young dog with us, the staff had already arranged everything for us, we were allowed to eat with our dog in the bar area. Dinner was the highlight. 😋 We will definitely be back. We had a junior suite, which was really fantastic.

A really nice, albeit outdated, hotel and excellent service. Unfortunately there are not enough staff, so the guest has to wait sometimes. But they are always there for you and really try to fulfill your every wish. We had a wonderful stay and always felt like we were among friends. I can recommend the hotel with a clear conscience!

The manager at the reception was very friendly and helpful. Our son and you were on the same wavelength straight away. Unfortunately, the dinner wasn't to our taste, and the boss tried to find a solution there too. At breakfast there was something for everyone.

The hotel and its staff/owner let me experience Bavarian hospitality. The impression is very benevolent and personal. The rooms are great and the view of the Bavarian Forest is beautiful. As nice as the hotel is, the staff still stood out for their friendliness. I can recommend the hotel without hesitation.

We stayed at the Hotel Bavaria in Zwiesel for four days and really enjoyed the location, the facilities and the service. The half-board catering also impressed us; the drink prices are at the upper limit. It's just a shame that after our return we have to find out that the hotel will become refugee accommodation for 140 asylum seekers from the first quarter of 2024! Does it have to be a well-run 4...

When vacation dreams come true ... we were allowed to spend 2 nights in the steam beer chalet and were absolutely thrilled. Pure wellness with your own sauna, bathtub and whirlpool. Compared to the 0815 hotel vacations up to now, a difference like day and night. Who longs for relaxation, togetherness and luxury, MUST come here :) Absolute recommendation. We will come back. Everyone who is looking for the "button off" from everyday life will find it here! Nothing is missing. Very modern but still quaint. After about 2 minutes on foot, you are in the forest. The view of the mountains and the valley is really nice. We had a very good time!

It was just awesome. Everything is really coordinated and of the finest quality here. We had wonderful days even in bad weather, but it is irrelevant in such a hut anyway, because you actually don't want to go out. The only thing that could be made a little better are the existing pots / pans / knives, which are unfortunately very cheap compared to the rest. Unfortunately, even the bacon did not work...
