Good rooms, friendly employees. Only when the restaurant is busy one can come across as overworked because of the large groups they receive. So ask for a time when it is quiet.

Beautiful place in the heart of Spreewald. Very helpful and friendly staff. Gurken Museum is next to the hotel. Very relaxing and quiet place surrounded by the canals. 5-10 minutes walk to the town. Great hotel. The hosts are super nice and you can tell that they are passionate about it. We felt very comfortable. Rooms are large and nicely decorated. Breakfast with a lot of taste and attention to detail. We got good advice on bike tours. In the evening we could sit outside or in the barn, which also had a guest refrigerator. Small nice family run hotel. The owners are open to any question. The breakfast is really sufficient and always comes up with small surprises. The rooms are clean and if you like firm mattresses, you've come to the right place. I highly recommend it.

Yes, you have to have done it (it still needs some improvement) but the food and the staff are great.

If you don't know it, a small but nice experience. It's just a pity that the attached restaurant closes at 8 p.m. When the weather is bad, you just sit in your barrel. The hospitality and the hosts, the Hanschik family, are great and very friendly. I can recommend sleeping in the barrel.

Ideal situation very close to autobahn. We used it to stop over on our way to and from Praha. The rooms were satisfactory and the price was acceptable. The breakfast was abundant and the choice of dinner courses satisfactory. We will certainly return, if we find ourselves in this part of Germany again.
