Gartenstadt Hotel

We were stuck in a bad situation with a broken car on a national holiday, where we had to wait for someone to pick us up from multiple hours away. The hotel allowed us to rest in our room during the day free of charge, many hours over the usual check out time, for us to be comfortable with our baby while waiting. An extremely nice gesture! Very clean and nice room with excellent service.

Nice rooms, friendly staff who can conversate in English, AC works well during summer. Enjoyed the stay 😀.

The hotel is clean and the staff we encountered was friendly. The breakfast buffet looked sufficiently stocked for meat/dairy eaters. We, as Vegans, had limited options, but we are used to it. The service staff did offer Oar Milk, therefore I was able to drink a cappuccino, which was much appreciated!

Parking was free and available in an underground garage and in front of the facility.

The room had a good size (deluxe room reservation) and again, was clean. Shower water pressure was good, the bed was our only complaint during our stay. The mattress in our room was no longer good and, in our opinion, should be replaced. My wife called it “demonic”. Neither one of us had much sleep.

Unfortunately, the main reason to stay at this hotel for us was to sleep away from home for a medical appointment, I cannot provide the highest rating, however, the cleanliness, the facility itself and the friendliness of the staff deserves their credit.

Rooms were kept in decent condition. There was a shampoo dispenser in the bathroom. There were always cleaned towels. There were only a few English channels on TV. A lot of parking space, in front and at the back for free. The breakfast was very simple and standard. I was a bit disappointed that the scrambled eggs were cold when I arrived.

We were recommended the Hotel by local residents and we were not disappointed. Well maintained Hotel, good room, tasty Breakfast and friendly staff. We will come back!

Staying here for the German GP approximately 20 mins away from track....excellent staff..fantastic room and sauna...4 day stay with great breakfast and takeaway coffee for drive to track ...booking for next year after first night...restaurant has great value menu and I recommend the German sausage with curry sauce and chips ...so definately book for Hockenheim

Very neat rooms of family-run Hotel with great, very tastefully decorated & renovated and very courteous staff.

Small Family-Run Hotel.
I was very friendly with me probably felt the room was newly renovated and on the whole everything was clean have received.
