I have booked four nights in this hotel Leonardo Royal hotel in Mannheim from 30th of September to 4th of October , but because I have health condition I couldn’t travel and stay there , also I lost my mother at the same time and I passed through very hard time.
I have contacted Expedia to get the refund me back at least 50% If it’s possible . They said they will contact contact Leonardo hotel to get my money back back ,but they said hotel refused to get a refund back as Expedia they can’t do anything. I have sent somebody of my family members there to hotel get me back my refund at exceptional circumstances because of my health condition but they didn’t help again. I contact the manager They didn’t respond to me and said we can’t get your money back and I requested tjefe very exceptional situation to get some percent of my money back , also they said no
. I didn’t expect that this company Leonardo hotel and the stuff there to be so stingy and money lover without any humanity ,without giving any thought or appreciation to people who have hard situations they pass through. Also, the stuff was so rude in the hotel.

Location is in heart of Mannheim,it’s in Central location and near by main station, breakfast, room service are good. Night Manager (Santosh)is awesome guy very humble, even 2nd time also visited the same hotel because of him.

Central location, very modern, very helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast selection was excellent. Shower was....quite complicated and couldn't fit under it very well.

This is my third stay at the hotel, I really love the location and that there's cheap parking 6 minutes away, the staff are very friendly and they allow you to check out later if you need to which I found really nice.
The complimentary flavored water next to the entrance is also a plus, bar and restaurant area looks amazing.
One thing that I sadly cant overlook, is the cleanliness of the room, from curtains to spotty mattress to the floor under the bed which seemingly has never been cleaned, pretty disappointing since I haven't seen such conditions even at 2 stars motels. I really hope they work on that aspect as it's sad to see in such an otherwise great hotel.

Hotel is a little dated but still nice. Rooms are comfortable and the breakfast has enough variety.
Awesome fitness center, but the „Sauna area“ is just a small cabin and a shower. Still nice to have it and everything is open even in corona times. However, access is restricted and you need to register at the desk.

Great location, close to everything (park, local hair cut, supermarket, drug store, restaurant....), spacy and elegant lounge area, very friendly, professional reception team, they went out their way to satisfy our needs. We realized that we forgot our smartwatch 2 hours later after checked out, we gave receptionist a phone call and she went directly to search for it. 5 minutes later she gave us back a call that she found it. It was a nice stay in Leonardo Royal.
