COVID had led to a significant reduction in reception hours, but staff went to some trouble to keep us informed and make sure we had access. Limited choice at breakfast, but freshness and quality very good. Staff friendly and helpful.

Very charming, Altstadt Hotel and Restaurant, run by a highly qualified, professional, yet friendly staff. Small, modern bedrooms are well designed in this antique building. It is in a great location to enjoy all Lüneburg has to offer. The food is sophisticated, yet fitting in the unpretentious and casual atmosphere

I really think Bargentrum is a really really good bargain in Lüneburg. So close to everything worth seeing! Transport accessible, kind stuff..enough parking space too, tell me that's not a good bargain to enjoy the fairytale that is Lüneburg ❤💯

Nice Hotel. Was ourer anniversary and we wanted to spoil ourselves with a suit and where a bit disappointed with it. Some of the lights didn't work and the basic interior/furnishings. The room needed to get updated. But you couldn't completed about the cleanliness. For us in this case, we couldn't see the value for money.

My girlfriend and I spent three days in this beautiful property 4 weeks ago. We stayed in the guest house in two double rooms. These were spacious and comfortable, especially the beautiful bathroom should be emphasized. Everything new and clean! Most of all we enjoyed the great breakfast buffet. Everything was there and very lovingly designed. Just to feel good. There was also nothing to complain...

Nice clean rooms, and very friendly staff, we arrived late and kitchen was closed, but they managed to make us some very tasty mushroom soup with bread. That was more than what could be expected

An aging hotel that exudes a lot of charm. The furniture is certainly older, and the mirror and the windows are a bit dull, but what counts for me is the cleanliness and it was 100% available, as well as the service and the hospitality. That's full points. 1 point deduction because the bathroom is very small and has no exhaust air and unfortunately there is no elevator. But that's whining again at...

Tranquil place near the park but far from the town center The manager seems friendly but racism. Too much rules,even can not drink beer in the room.

Great hotel in Adendorf, one of the northern outskirts of Lüneburg. The room I had was spacious, well equipped, and very clean. Did neither use the spa area nor the restaurant for dinner. Therefore, I cannot not comment on this. The breakfast was standard. Bottomline is a very good hotel to stay if usage of the spa area is planned. For just an overnight stay is the price I paid too high.

Very quiet location, has a golf course, spa, bar and a restaurant. The staff is nice. The food in the restaurant is not so great but there's plenty of other options around in the area. The WiFi in the rooms was not working for a few days but the receptionist gave great alternatives. Plenty of free parking space available and rooms are spacious. We have been here for a weekend to relax in a spa and I have several remarks. Though pricing is the same or even higher as in similar level 4-5 star hotel around Germany, we have found that spa area was rather small for the amount of visitors, therefore uncomfortable. Not only not everyone got a bed to stay be the swimming pool, the pool itself was very small and maximum enough for 2 to 3 people to...

Booked 3 nights with 3 rounds of golf. Impossible to get tee times in a decent time window. So we had to skip breakfast to play, which were 'included'. Great to look over a nice EMPTY course throughout the day, since people apparently don't show up for their tee times. It's like the resort it laughing at you. Restaurants were really slow service and baad food. Course is really nice. We weren't able...

Great place. I wish they had air conditioning though as it was 30c and everything was so hot. Briefly contemplated sleeping in the Tesla as is can run all night with the AC on and has room for an air mattress. Also their chargers were occupied by hybrid cars not charging. But I had enough to get to Ulzen.

Very satisfied! We had booked a weekend including a wedding dinner and we have been pampered! We had a warm welcome right from the reception, the restaurant staff was lovely, including our waiter, Rafael, who stayed with us till early morning and really pampered us. We all had great moments in the sauna and the whirlpool, our guests went home very happy, saying this was the best wedding they attended...

Besautiful located in the old town of Lüneburg. Scattered houses and terraces connected with pathways, bridges and streets. The rooms were very good and the meal excellent. Particular the breakfast was very good.

A great place. Beautiful surroundings, very laid back euro vibe. The Director of the complex was highly approachable and accommodating.

Awesome place... Awesome view around...and most importantly it's in the city centre..... train station is at 500 meters.. Rooms are spacious and services are world-class..

We really loved our stay here. The check-in and check-out were smooth. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed. The free mini-bar was a nice surprise :) I had a work call during our stay, and the wifi worked wonderully throughout the meeting. Would have loved to stay longer than just one night!

Nestled along the riverside, this remarkable hotel exudes charm and meticulous attention to room maintenance. However, check-in procedures tend to be prolonged, often surpassing 50 minutes, and breakfast service beginning at 7:00 a.m. may pose an inconvenience for early-rising guests.

Beautiful hotel in the very centre of Lüneburg. I was in town to provide a lecture at Leuphana University. The hotel is situated right in the middle of town, not far from the train station. The rooms are quite spacious and comfortable, and even have a dining table. There is a steam sauna and a gym available to the guests free of charge. The gym's exercise machines do need some maintanence, though....

Nice hotel in the city center. Nothing extraordinary but can recommend. Breakfast are placed across street.

The quality of the hotel took a little dip after Dormero took over but it is still a decent place to stay. They offer a nice breakfast buffet with a great choice.

The best price to performance I never had in Germany ! The host is very thoughtful and careful. The spa and swimming pool are the top (clean, modern and beautiful)
