Where to stay in Luneburg

Great hotel in Adendorf, one of the northern outskirts of Lüneburg. The room I had was spacious, well equipped, and very clean. Did neither use the spa area nor the restaurant for dinner. Therefore, I cannot not comment on this. The breakfast was standard. Bottomline is a very good hotel to stay if usage of the spa area is planned. For just an overnight stay is the price I paid too high.

Very quiet location, has a golf course, spa, bar and a restaurant. The staff is nice. The food in the restaurant is not so great but there's plenty of other options around in the area. We have been here for a weekend to relax in a spa and I have several remarks. Though pricing is the same or even higher as in similar level 4-5 star hotel around Germany, we have found that spa area was rather small for the amount of visitors, therefore uncomfortable. Booked 3 nights with 3 rounds of golf. Impossible to get tee times in a decent time window. So we had to skip breakfast to play, which were 'included'. Great to look over a nice EMPTY course throughout the day, since people apparently don't show up for their tee times. It's like the resort it laughing at you. Great place. I wish they had air conditioning though as it was 30c and everything was so hot. Briefly contemplated sleeping in the Tesla as is can run all night with the AC on and has room for an air mattress. Also their chargers were occupied by hybrid cars not charging. But I had enough to get to Ulzen.

Very friendly personal, everything fast and very well explained. The room is nice, comfortable, clean and has a nice view. For the low/friendly price everything is very good. Cheap and great quality and ambient. The location is a few steps away from the train station and from the main city; the location is ideal! Super clean and super nice beds

I was quite satisfied with B&B Lüneburg. Rather newly constructed, it was clean and quiet. The rooms are a bit cramped, but just enough space for everything. The hotel is situated conveniently near the Lüneburg train station -- 4 minutes by foot -- and about twice that from the old town's central square -- a walk we made several times and enjoyed. My girlfriend and I spent three days in this beautiful property 4 weeks ago. We stayed in the guest house in two double rooms. These were spacious and comfortable, especially the beautiful bathroom should be emphasized. Everything new and clean! Most of all we enjoyed the great breakfast buffet. Everything was there and very lovingly designed. Just to feel good. There was also nothing to complain...

Nice clean rooms, and very friendly staff, we arrived late and kitchen was closed, but they managed to make us some very tasty mushroom soup with bread. That was more than what could be expected

Besautiful located in the old town of Lüneburg. Scattered houses and terraces connected with pathways, bridges and streets. The rooms were very good and the meal excellent. Particular the breakfast was very good.

We really loved our stay here. The check-in and check-out were smooth. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed. The free mini-bar was a nice surprise :) I had a work call during our stay, and the wifi worked wonderully throughout the meeting. Would have loved to stay longer than just one night!

Beautiful hotel in the very centre of Lüneburg. I was in town to provide a lecture at Leuphana University. The hotel is situated right in the middle of town, not far from the train station. The rooms are quite spacious and comfortable, and even have a dining table. There is a steam sauna and a gym available to the guests free of charge. The gym's exercise machines do need some maintanence, though....

Family hotel outside the center with nice park for running or walking nearby

I stayed there for only one night, so I cannot say much, but it was all in all a pretty enjoyable stay in a clean hotel with nice workers.

The house was nice, warm and is fully equiped with everything you might need. Even some emergency stuff that was valuable, like sugar, salt, cereals...

Everything is nice and cozy. Only one felht washing machine ... :)

Super nice house in a very quiet residential area. Nevertheless Becker on foot and a very noble Italian and a medium-priced Siege pizzeria within walking distance you can go on vacation. Or relax after work. A huge advantage, no parking problems at all, and yet the city is easily accessible by bus and train about 3.5 km away. Plenty of supermarkets and large shops within 1.5 km

COVID had led to a significant reduction in reception hours, but staff went to some trouble to keep us informed and make sure we had access. Limited choice at breakfast, but freshness and quality very good. Staff friendly and helpful.

Very charming, Altstadt Hotel and Restaurant, run by a highly qualified, professional, yet friendly staff. Small, modern bedrooms are well designed in this antique building. It is in a great location to enjoy all Lüneburg has to offer. The food is sophisticated, yet fitting in the unpretentious and casual atmosphere

I really think Bargentrum is a really really good bargain in Lüneburg. So close to everything worth seeing! Transport accessible, kind stuff..enough parking space too, tell me that's not a good bargain to enjoy the fairytale that is Lüneburg ❤💯

Nice Hotel. Was ourer anniversary and we wanted to spoil ourselves with a suit and where a bit disappointed with it. Some of the lights didn't work and the basic interior/furnishings. The room needed to get updated. But you couldn't completed about the cleanliness. For us in this case, we couldn't see the value for money.

An aging hotel that exudes a lot of charm. The furniture is certainly older, and the mirror and the windows are a bit dull, but what counts for me is the cleanliness and it was 100% available, as well as the service and the hospitality. That's full points. 1 point deduction because the bathroom is very small and has no exhaust air and unfortunately there is no elevator. But that's whining again at...

Very romantic and rustic. 50m from the Christmas market. The owners are very nice, caring and accommodating. The breakfast is ok, the rooms so-so. Nevertheless, we would take a room over the weekend again, because the overall package is just right and you are right in the city center.

Very old hotel in the middle of the city of Lüneburg. Unfortunately not so great in room 11 without a private bathroom (externally across the hall). But the staff was very friendly and the breakfast was prepared with a lot of creativity.

The Saltblooms apartments convince due to their central location in Lüneburg. You can park your car safely and protected from the weather (for a surcharge) on the property. You can also leave it there, because the city center and the sights are all within walking distance. We felt very comfortable. The historical building has a quiet location and is modern and tastefully furnished with its different styles. The location is very central, all sights in the old town are within walking distance. We will recommend the Saltbloom Apartments to others.

No air-conditioning, mediocre breakfast and gets very bright in the morning even with curtains. Very nice design though and helpful staff.

Good looking and cozy but insulation sound and temperature insulation isn't great.

Everything was very clean and no noise at all. A bathroom and a separate shower. Ehm good but I didn't need it. Parking right across but costs additional 10 euro for a night.
