It's fine for a couple of nights. It is clean and there is a good parking lot next to it, the highway is particularly close and cheap.

Staff were nice and kind. The building itself is a little old. My room was a bit small and didn’t have a refrigerator. The floor was wooden, and you could hear it creak when walking on it. But overall, it was a good experience.

This hotel had everything we needed and a really cozy vibe. It was so nice to stay somewhere that felt like it was run by people who cared. The neighborhood was so fun.

Clean and comfortable. Parking is free on the street but it may be difficult to find-the hotel has own parking accross tge street ( blue gate) for 8Eur. Big rooms with comfortable beds and pillows. Easy to get to from motorway.

The property was very clean and service was very friendly. Only concern was that the area is little out of town and there were drawings on the wall everywhere surrounding. We arrived at the hotel little late on the evening and felt unsafe until we get into the property. I do not recommend to go outside walking in the evening.

The hostel was really clean and the rooms were great. There’s a nice little biergarten/cafe at the bottom of the hostel and the employees are really nice and helpful. It’s only a couple of minutes from the S-Bahn. Highly recommend for your next stay in Leipzig.

We were desperately looking for a place to stay at half past ten at night when we around this little hostel. Super nice staff and great prices. Clean and well equipped. Our room smelled a bit of scented candles, but I think it was just to fit in with the atmosphere of this hostel.

Not value for the money The food from the restaurant was excellent. The service was super good. The bed was hard, old and worn, so woke with backpains. The pillow was very lumpy. I will not stay there again because off the bad sleeping experience.

It was noisy in the evening/night due to various meetings and parties. The room was not even cleaned during the stay and you had to get fresh towels yourself. The towel in the room had been hanging there for so long that it was yellowed and dusty. The non-smoking room used to be a smoker's room (as was my colleague's) and smelled strongly of cold smoke. A short 2 night stay, the room was very spacious with 2 large single beds, tea/coffee making facilities and mini fridge. The buffet breakfast was very nice plenty of choice with hot and cold options. OK Hotel Good value for the money but a bit far from city center on an Industrial area. 30 min with train to town. My room, a twin bedroom was big and with a nice balcony facing gardens. The bed wonderfully comfortable. The bathroom was a good size. Big minus for the lack of air condition on the room. Breakfast OK.

I was there for a short night. The room was neat and clean. The owner very friendly. There is a small selection of drinks at good prices. The bed I loved to sleep in was excellent. Ignore the bad reviews, this is clean comfortable quirky accommodation but simple. The people complaining on here (Spießer aus BW?) should know that if you pay 27€ a night (single room), then you're not getting a 5 star penthouse. This is my second time and I've already booked my third.

No-frills budget hotel in an extremely convenient location, close to many bars, coffee shops, restaurants, and quick tram connection (10 minutes) to the city centre.. Free street parking. I passed by Leipzig on a car trip and just happened to book a room at Hotel Michaelis. This turned out to be a very good choice as the hotel was excellent in many aspects. Super-friendly and helpful staff. A large and clean room with a view of towers and church spires. Nice breakfast included, as well as a small bottle of wine. Hotel is in ok condition. Staff is nice, with the exception of one lady in restaurant, which is so rude and disrespectful on treatment of the guests. Rooms are a little old, not air condition available. In family rooms, they don’t offer queen beds for families, just offer two single beds and a very hard sofa bed. Parking is very convenient and secure. Restaurant is great, food is good.

A wonderful hotel This is a very nice and updated hotel away from the city center. They have a wonderful buffet breakfast and an on site garage. The pleasant surprise was a complimentary tram ticket for the entire family so that we could get to the city center. We’ll definitely stay here again.

Decent smaller hotel. Location pretty good for our needed destinations. About 25 minutes to Old Town by foot. Walked everywhere, even to central trainstation but all kinds of public transport stops nearby. Staff was helpful. Places to eat or buy groceries are near.
