The hotel itself is comfortably spacious and has a beautiful view. But during our visit early this October, the dam is under renovation, so what was supposed to be “lake view room” just became a room with a drained water view. It’s absolutely not the hotel’s fault, but maybe you can take into consideration while choosing the room if you come between now and December. The breakfast wasn’t disappointing...

Sehr schönes sauberes Hotel. Modernisiert aber teilweise noch den alten Charme erhalten. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber mit modernem Badezimmer. Frühstück und Nutzung des FKK Wellnessbereiches mit inbegriffen. Sehr freundliches Personal. Würden wir weiter empfehlen.

Our room was clean and the services good. We just wondered why there were no tea/coffee making facilities or a shaving mirror provided as the hotel did say that it had 4*?

This is a rather posh-feeling hotel that over looks the lake. Just had drinks here on a hot afternoon. After if was nice to swim in the lake. Cool clear water.

Rooms and meeting places were nice and well. Food was very nice. Hospitality was also very nice. Also the bedroom was nice and clean. Overall a nice stay for the meetings and the sleep over.

The half-timbered hotel conveys a beautiful atmosphere from the very first glance. There are enough parking spaces. The staff is nice and accommodating. The rooms are clean. The breakfast is very generous. The restaurant has a cozy ambience and the food is recommended. The garden also gives a feeling of calm and relaxation. We felt very comfortable there on our short vacation.

Very enjoyable stay. Clean and nice rooms, a great restaurant with a very harmonious atmosphere. The breakfast for less than 8 euros is extremely generous. I would love to come back!

My wife and I had the pleasure to be a guest in Landhotel Hütter halfway January 2016 for 2 nights. The whole picture was right: from the swift check-in, the information of the nearby hiking paths as well as the room, the dinner etc. Perfect price / quality ratio and highly recommended if you want a decently priced hotel room at about 40 mins from Winterberg. We'll be back!

The stay was very pleasant, the room and bathroom were large and comfortable, the breakfast was excellent. The choice of noble materials and the design settings in the whole structure talk about the very good taste of the Mistress of the House. This is one of my favorite hotels. The food is excellent and they serve great wines. The owner btw is a local legend for his knowledge of wines. The staff is family run and it is always like coming home again.

Heerlijk verblijf gehad. Mooie ruime kamer, prima bedden, vriendelijke eigenaren en heerlijk gegeten!

After receiving a very warm welcome, we were immediately made to feel welcome. The house is lovingly designed and decorated, as are the tastefully furnished, spacious rooms. The food was delicious and vegetarian requirements were met without any problems. We look forward to our next stay with the Hesse family

We stayed here while passing through while on a bike tour. We received a very friendly welcome, the room was very nice, clean and large. We could safely store our bikes in the garage. The dinner was absolutely outstanding. We recommend.

Cozy and homey Hotel, friendly and helpful staff, the rooms were adequate but a tad outdated but very clean. The restaurant within the hotel is outstanding, very quick service and friendly waiters. In addition to that the spa complex within the hotel is a nice addition too.

Goede kamers, rustige omgeving fantastisch ontbijt wel het menu van het hotel in de avond maar dat kan ook a la carte zijn

Het was een hotel waar je perfect tot rust kan komen. Je komt binnen, krijgt schonen kamers met een bad. Beneden is er een klein ontspannen zwembad. Het is fijn dat ze ook een restaurant hebt zodat je niet meer weg hoefd na een dagje op de pisten. Ze hebben zeker een goed ontbijt met veel keus om de dag mee te beginnen.

We had a nice, big room with a balcony. Everything was clean and tidy. Breakfast comprehensive, everything there, what you need for a good breakfast. The requests were implemented by the service sovereign and polite. Recommended

Stayed for a bike weekend. Was more than suprised. Recently refurbished rooms with modern interior, very friendly personnel and outstanding food! There is also a lovely small beer garden. The location itself is a good starting point for a mountain bike tour to various places. The hotel is marked as a "bed & bike"-hotel. The hotel is family owned with several generations working and has a great friendly atmosphere. We were 4 motorcycle riders staying at the hotel for a week. Great rooms, excellent food, excellent service. One of my motorcycle gloves broke and the grandmother fixed it. The area is great for motorcycles, pristine roads. Was in town for work in Veltins. Nice walking distance to the brewery and an amazing family run hotel with pub and food! Frequent visits with the locals here and the food was superb! The owners were some of the nicest people I met in Germany and if I am ever back in town I will for sure make my way out to say hello again!

We received a warm welcome. Such a surprise that the hosts were both Dutch. This elderly couple have an old but renovated tradidional house and offer a quiet sereen stay. They have 2 rooms with double bed, one with single beds and one with bunk beds. We took the single beds room and had a good night sleep. Very welcoming, friendly host and hostess. We had a great week with two families in the days around New Year's Eve. Nice area for walks and trips to places like Winterberg. From the Netherlands you can be there quickly.

Friendly staff, big rooms, comfy beds and in gereral a nice place . But when I got to my room I noticed that I ordered two single beds but I got 1 double bed. And two of the walls were mucky and stained. The most disappointing aspect of the hotel was the food . To keep it short im just going to say it was overpriced for what it was but if it weren't for that I would have given it 4 stars
