We had a room with great view of the Danube and surrounding landscape. Enjoyed dinner on the terrace, which had an equally fantastic view. The staff was very friendly and the owners were extremely helpful and informative. Will go back!

Where there for an 70s Birthday, the Chef brought us our drinks by hisself. The atmosphere was cosy and typical bavarian. The food was fresh and really delicious.

The rooms are fine and the breakfast was good as well. And maybe three stars isn't being fair but the hotel was closed until check-in at 5 pm which gave us about 2 hours of wandering through an empty town. Again, this is partly on us for arriving early, but it kind of put a damper on things.

The food is very good and inexpensive. Unfortunately the service was quite slow. The rooms are very spartan and in poor condition. Breakfast should be served from 6:30 a.m. In 6 days there were almost 4 times with delays and 2 times not at all. Since I use this hotel for work, such delays are not acceptable.

This place is an impressive piece of art and care. Large rooms, super clean, and very convenient. Notes: No kettle. Shampoo is dry as the soap is. You could ask for a regular shampoo at the reception. No minibar. Descent room price.

Wasserzell is a small town, 4 km from Eichstätt. Gasthaus Hirschenwirt functions as the town centre. Our room was modern, spacious and very comfortable. At night it is really quiet, apart from the occasional train going over the tracks above Wasserzell. The food is good down to earth Bavarian style. We liked it and spent a lovely couple of days in this place.

If you are in Ingolstadt and want to stay in a guest house, I 100% reccomend pension wagner. The staffs are very supportive. They understand your needs and will support you accordingly. Rooms are modern and nice size. Mattresses not very comfortable. No fridge nor tea coffee facitilties in the room. We paid 200 Euros a night for double room. Nothing around the hotel, so a car is a must have to get basics. They provide two water bottles in the room for 2.2 Euros each ( which are normally free in most of the hotels) The hotel is cosy overall but not worth it. Nice new thing to see...

Built in 2020 the IBB is modern with beautiful rooms and common space. The bathrooms have heated floors which is a nice ammenity in the winter. My room was booked on a "Black Friday" special so the rate was excellent value but wouldn't represent normal pricing.

Location is good, being right on the square, but Eichstaett is so small it's hard to not have a good location as everything is central. Wifi kept cutting in and out (but that seems to be a problem endemic to all of Europe). The shower was okay. The pillows and bed were standard European. Breakfast buffet is also standard European with deli meats, cheese, breads, and yogurt. No Bavarian specialties...

Was a good hotel and I had a good stay. I had some bad points during my stay. The window was leaking some noise and wind in. The central heating did not function, So I used 2 x oil heaters provided. The safe's batteries had an loose connection.

The hotel is in the middle of nowhere. The only way to get there is by car. The first thing they do when checking in is charging you 4€ for coming by car. They know how to make you feel welcome.....

You get what you pay for and a bit more. If you need to stop in this area for a night, the beds are fine and the rooms are quiet. No restaurant (although they will heat a frozen pizza fo4 you).

Superb place to stay. The room was spacious with a mini kitchen. Besides, the booking and check-in process was completely automated. I recieved no human assistance while I checked into my room nor met anyone while I left the following day. Yet I had nothing to complain about. We came onto this place by chance and we loved the view over Eichstätt and its castle from the sunny vantage point. Service at this well positioned wellness hotel was prompt and friendly. We've used this hotel twice, and would probably do so again as it's conveniently located between Nurenberg and Munich, but a lot cheaper than either of those cities. We've always had to split our family (5) across two double rooms, it would be nicer if there were some more family friendly options available. We asked reception for extra bedding, and they were very helpful.

The hotel was in a quiet village so it was quite restful. There are church bells but that is part of experiencing another country. The bedroom was spacious and very clean.
