Great place amazing breakfast

Out of season stay Ideal location for the 'ring, large carpark made it easy for a trailer. The restaurant below the hotel is a separate business but they were helpful. I went out of season and found reception locked up

Some advertised facilities/amenities were unavailable due to a "conference." Unable to use lobby; coffee, and afternoon sweets were "off-limits" although on display in the lobby. We were there as part of a large group that took up at least one entire floor.

Actualy spot on!!! Perfect for a group trip allowing off street parking for 2 outside the appartments, additional large carpark on site if you have more cars in your group. Very close to the track, on site spa too!

I’d give this a miss if the weather app shows any days above 28 degrees peak anytime through your stay, too hot with no aircon. Otherwise it’s pretty good and spacious. I think a hotel is still better if you are 1 or 2 people. I’d also request a villa without steep driveway if you got a low car as my car have light scrape when reversing up it.

Me and my partner Evelyn stayed with Landhaus Sonnenhof for 3 nights and really enjoyed our stay! It is an older hotel, the service was fine, the rooms were clean but do not expect anything modern. Some of the rooms are facing the railway and can be a bit loud. Overall, it is a simple hotel and a definitely a place to stay if you are planning to hike in the area.

The country hotel is super great furnished. You sleep very well there. Have real box spring beds. Unfortunately the Sankt Peter Restaurant is not open yet. The flood took a bad toll on the restaurant.

Hotell Finkenberg is on the outskirts of the small town of Blankenheim and provides decent time for a decent price, and includes a nice breakfast.

The rooms here aren't super comfortable but the staff is nice and they have a lovely breakfast area and the breakfast they serve is actually very good. I really liked the scrambled eggs and the cheese selection.

I have stayed at this hotel a number of times and I like the personal service it offers. Easy to deal with, the hotel has good parking, is centrally located in the town and close the many restaurants and provides an excellent breakfast.

Hotels are expensive so the hotel is a good option on a budget (paid Euro 89 incl breakfast) Rooms are standard and the buffet breakfast basic but for the very central location and price was more than sufficient for a 1 night stay. No parking but there is a cheap public car park 5 minuztes walk from the hotel.

A bit dated, and no AC, but clean, comfortable, charming, and they serve a nice breakfast. The location is perfect! Wine tastings are free for hotel guests, and the terraces are reserved for guests, so there's always room to sit and enjoy the scenery.

We had an amazing 4 days here. I love the fact that only hotel guests can use the terrace - there was always seats for view over the river 😍 We forgot our passports and Bernd was amazing and sent them directly to us and was good in assuring us that they were on the way. I can’t believe the poor reviews posted on here! It’s a 14th century hotel in rural Germany. It doesn’t have some modern ammenities like an elevator or lift for stair free access to every room. The building is old and that’s part of the experience of staying here. Also keep in mind you’re traveling to rural Germany? Take it as an opportunity to learn some German or at least try. The hotel is clean and nice with an attached restaurant, but there were quiet a few things which i didnt like. For some reason the blanket was small, which for a 6 footer was quiet problematic. The food had Dry vegetables in salads, breakfast choice was very limited, bad wifi connection, WiFi stopped connecting at 10 while the checkout was at 11. Overall not value for money.
