Staying in a former prison – what a brilliant concept, and beautifully brought to life. The hotel is just a short walk from the city center and ideally located for a day trip to Strasbourg. Fabulous design hotel with great bar, restaurant and terrace. The rooms are dark and dramatic with all modern amenities, the air conditioning could be fiercer but outside was 32 degrees so not too bad. Great shower pressure. Very pleasant family stay on November 10. There was an incident on arrival with our room and the receptionist present solved it right away. Thank you very much to that girl for her efficiency, we enjoyed the hotel which is amazing and rest fully.

We have visited Liberty Hotel and Restaurant with family for a evening meal ! Diner was absolutely fantastic , the exquisite menu and delightful atmosphere were simply amazing, dark and cosy light , pleasant music in the background makes our evening very special! Clean and customer service are really nice location is great Lidl like 7 minutes away and the city center is like 5 minutes from the hotel.

My family and I (2 adults, 2 children) have stayed here twice now while visiting family in the area, each time for about a week. The hotel itself is perfectly situated as it's about 5 minutes from the people we visit, but also in touching distance of Offenburg, Strasbourg, EuropaPark, The Black Forest and just off the motorway leading to other major destination in the region. Waren abends zum Essen, haben im Nebenraum gesessen, da im Gastraum eine größere Gesellschaft mit Buffett gefeiert hat. Wir wurden dennoch sehr zuvorkommend bedient und haben 3 unterschiedliche Gerichte genossen. Alles wurde nahezu gleichzeitig serviert. Die Gerichte waren hervorragend. Absolut zu empfehlen.

My wife and I were with the very good flavorful food, very satisfied. The price-performance ratio matched. The whole Team of the hotel Traube is very nice, and accommodating. This Hotel we can recommend with a clear Conscience.

The beds where very hard and narrow. The mattresses where very old .... We have been in B&B hotels of Bonn West and Dortmund Airport and they had comfortable beds, but this hotels beds where very uncomfortable (((( Overall hotel was clean and good,but the beds should be improved...

Everything was good so far, the accommodation was very clean, the staff were very nice, and overall the house was very quiet. It seems that they value quiet guests. The only thing that bothered me was that the water drained so slowly from the sink. I could have complained about it, but I didn't want to. Overall it was good accommodation.

Overall it was good. Check in/out process is simple and automated. The hotel is clean, stays in a nice and quite area. The variety of food for the buffet breakfast is quite limited.

Set in a stunning location in hills covered by vineyards. Room could have felt a bit more cozy but it is a chain hotel. Wellness area has sauna, steam room and pool. It's pretty good but lacked a member of staff to welcome you and explain things. Evening meal was good, breakfast buffet was also good. All in all, a good place to stay but for the price I was expecting something feeling a bit more luxurious

The hotel has easy access. Free parking. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was okay, looked like it was a former hospital but nether the less it was comfortable. The breakfast was great, good choice of hot and cold. The hotel is within walking distance to the village centre.

Beautiful hotel with very nice gardens and romantic terraces for breakfast, lunch and dining. We booked 1 room and one suite 6 days before but it was not possible to have dinner anymore. We arrived and saw a wedding going on so nobody really had time. A drink at the terrace yes but go in and collect the drinks yourself. My totally romantic idear for this stay was gone when we left after a chaotic breakfast...

Food was abit disappointing..nothing really extra ordinary compared to afew years back. The gardens are still so well maintaoned and extremely beautiful.

The entire staff is the Best for everything, most accommodative for all requests. They even accommodate me for my special dietary requests. Rooms are large and clean. Easy to drive to and large free car park with chargers. There is a small indoor swimming pool. The staff were very helpful. Restaurant was nice: we had dinner on arrival and (inclusive) breakfast. There was a reasonable selection of family friendly options for dinner and a basic but nice breakfast. In summer dining is outside on the pathway to entrance which was lovely but...

A gem of a hotel Good rooms 10 min walk from town centre The restaurant was fantastic only here for 2 nights and and ate here twice it was that good. We had three issues with the hotel. First, it’s 900 yards from the nearest tram stop which is the only way to explore Strasbourg and the rest of Kehl. There was no mention of that in the material we reviewed prior to booking. Second, the size of the room. We booked a comfort double which was supposed to be 237 SF. There’s no way room 62 is that size. Third, their pricing is out of whack for a property...

The hotel has a great location, it's a 10 minute walk into the centre. There are ample parking spaces available. The room was spacious but lacked amenities like coffee or tea making. The breakfast wasn't the most outstanding, but it was ok. You had your normal choices of bread, jams, cheese, and meat.

Very warm and helpful staff, nice room with a beautiful view of the Renchtal, very good food, large outdoor terrace and beautiful walks in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. The hotel is a few minutes' walk from the beautiful historic center.

Nice rooms, pleasant, helpful staff a good experience

Recently stayed here for three nights. Great location, great service and room. Free/convenient parking was also a plus. The manager was also very helpful in helping plan activities while at the hotel. Finally, ate dinner at the onsite restaurant twice and was very happy with the food and service. Definitely recommend for anyone in the area.

This stay was so much more than my family expected. Super cute building, cozy rooms, free parking, great breakfast spread, and unmatched hospitality. My husband and I stayed here with our baby to explore the Black Forest and Strasbourg Christmas Markets and it worked out perfectly. We can’t wait to stay here again.

Really nice apartment, well designed, clean,, in a central place, with comfortable car parking. Has almost any needed staff in the apartment! It has a washing machine! Which is such an improvement!

Very nice landlord, very helpful if you have a problem. Very nice clean modern apartments. There is also an elevator. Everything you need. Dogs are allowed on request! The only mango are the parking spaces there are only 2 available behind the house with more living units. Otherwise, due to the direct city location, only parking spaces for a fee. Location very good if direct city location doesn't bother...
