Where to stay in Oldenburg

Super location just a few meters from the Weser EMS Halle - perfect for those attending any event held there. Interior was dated but there were lovely upgrades (rainforest shower head, coffee/capucino machine in breakfast area) that added modern comforts. Cleanliness and attention to detail were top notch, super friendly and professional Staff. Onsite parking was a definate bonus just a few meters...

The hotel is fantastic! Lovely, homely rooms, amazing breakfast, nice staff and welnness centre. Not sure why there any negative to average reviews on here. I give it a big 5 stars!

Great location. The staff was kind and friendly. The rooms are okay. Big plus was that you have to ask for a morning robe, to was unnecessarily washing. Thinking environmental 👍 The food taste great, the portions are on the smaller size.

Nice hotel at the limits of the city centre. Good parking places. Nice breakfast. Rooms are dated but the bathroom was super. Completely renovated. The location is on a walking distance from the city centre.

I didn't see a room but i was in two of the meeting rooms. It's got cute furniture but it looked a little broke here and there.

We had an excellent stay as usual. This has to be at least my fourth visit. Lovely comfortable beds, great products in the bathroom. Always an enjoyable breakfast and they are always willing to accommodate you. Fresh bread and rolls, great selection of fruit, vegetables and a cooked breakfast.

Almost everything. Location was great. Room was great. There were even adjustable beds, which was a big bonus. And everything was very clean. The choice and quality of food for breakfast was exceptional. All the staff were very helpful.

Nice small non-chain hotel close to the town centre. Not great to look at from the outside, but the interior is modern and well maintained. Rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean, and the fittings/ decor appear nearly new. Friendly, approachable staff. Nice breakfast. Pros: very helpful staff, very nice breakfast and really good location! Cons: it can be quite noisy at night for those who stay in rooms that face the main street (Damm). Even though I closed all windows I could still hear the cars and people's chatting. One night there was a couple next door who were having a big fight in the middle of the night and I could literally hear everything. So the walls...

Second time in this excellent hotel - ☆☆☆ superior - German top quality. The hotel is close to the train station. It is a quiet, squeaky clean hotel with very friendly personnel. There are some free of charge goodies that may surprise you. Well, enjoy your stay when you are there. Cheerios!

Felt safe Excellent experience! I felt safe as a solo female traveler. The service was excellent, personnel were kind and helpful and hotel was clean. English communication good. Sauna was a bit disappointing, but there was some other small heat room that was pleasant. Overall a great experience and I recommend!

This is an exception hotel and, at the time of reviewing, deserved to be traveller ranked number one! Although our stay was just for one night - wished it could have been longer - everything was spot on, and a few pleasant surprises too! Language barrier Nice well kept hotel in the outskirts of Town. Only there one night. There was quite a language barrier if you’re not German speaking so google translate had to be used. Room was okay. Lighting was a bit dim for me. No kettle for coffee etc.

The hotel is much used as an event venue. So it is not veey quiet.

Location very convenient for an instant lunchtime, will be visiting again. The meals appeared to the table really quick and was delicious, definitely looking forward to visiting yet again. Nice food portion sizes especially considering the price. Food showed up fast, was very hot and completely delicious. The personnel were usually on hand to hear our needs.

Very friendly and helpful staff, great bar and excellent restaurant. The area is extremely quiet, mostly residential. The breakfast is a very nice buffet. The bed mattress could have been more comfortable and an extra bed sheet would have been nice in the cold weather. Overall would recommend if you’re on a budget.

Fantastic hotel with such a great service

Location was more on the outskirts of the city, but that was okay. Room was clean, even though getting all lights working was not straight forward (old lamps with strings attached that were almost invisible). Bed was rather comfy. WLAN connection was free but not very good, food on the other hand was delicious. Service was friendly and helpful where required.

Nice friendly stuffs, good breakfast, comfortable rooms, conveniently situated near the train station and public transport. Liked my 4 days stay over there.

Very pleasant staff helps to make this a nice venue. Breakfast offers many fresh choices, and the hotel’s own parking lot is conveniently outside the side door. Rooms are OK, and those preferring hard mattresses will be happy. Bathroom has a tub, shower head, and hand nozzle with string pressure and plenty of hot water. Telekom WiFi in building works well. Great choice in Oldenburg.

My stay here was better than my first impression was of the place, staff is friendly, rooms clean and shower hot and powerful, I would have given it 5 stars but due to the Internet kicking me out every hour or so, and the pillows grrr had to sleep without one as the pillow they supply looks great but is unusable to sleep on, great for watching tv if you like watching german tv with constant adverts...

We stayed in Room 24 on May 11, 2019. From the outside, it looks like an American Motel. The hotel has recently been renovated/updated with a very nice modern feel. The room is a little small but for one or two nights very adequate. The breakfast is everything and more. The staff were professional and friendly. I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone staying in the Oldenburg area.

It was very clean and considering this pandemic especially they were very careful with everything. What I loved the most was the staff that are really really friendly, and I must add: they take the personal wishes very seriously! I made my reservation and casually asked for a bathtub (as a nice to have) and when I arrived I saw that I got a double-room even I have paid for a single room, when I asked...

Basic rooms are more like pods and are unbelievably loud. You will hear neighbors talk, shower, go to the bathroom etc. Gym is great but freezing so too cold to workout. Breakfast is decent and staff is really wonderful. Bed was comfortable and room was very clean.

The best place in Oldenburg with the most original rooms. I slept in the bamboo room with Buddha fountain. The movie room with cinema is also great. And the breakfast gets an A-rate. Everything from dispensers, even the butter. And very complete! Even fresh cut pineapple. And only a 10 minut walk to the Lamberti Christmas market in the centre. The personal is friendly and helpful. Recommended!

Best place to live in Oldenburg! Have been there quite often. The staff is very freindly and attentive to needs of the guests. Location is perfect, walking distance from the Hbf, bus stop right in front of the hotel, Walking distance to the city center. Enough parking space just behind the building. The rooms are specious and equipped with everything one would need. Great breakfast with many options...

Good service, kind people, and a proper breakfast. I was very pleased with everything. Specially surprised by the little "lunch bag" handed by the hotel. Room is cosy and bed comfortable.

Our room was very clean and spatious. The bed was super comfy. Owner is very friendly. Alot of Greek kitsch adds character! Right on bus line.

This is a modern and very nicely designed hotel in a good location only minutes from the centre of Oldenburg. The room was very interestingly decorated and had a very comfy bed and great bathroom. Staff were helpful although the building is unstaffed between 6pm and 8am. A fridge full of drinks & snacks was available outside these hours, and they also offer free bike hire... we didn't try this...

Very relaxing place with a beautiful cafe. I stayed there for a few days. Breakfast is straightforward but high quality and the staff is motivated and obliging. Wlan was very fast and reliable throughout the whole building.

Was only there for breakfast, as a friend was staying there. The eating room was nice and spacious, and clean. Breakfast served was great. Nice warm bread, great taste, and lots of toppings to choose from.

This is a great hotel, cheap and cheerful. The staff are friendly and helpful, even coming out late at night to check me in when the hotel had shut for the night. Buffet breakfast is varied and fresh. The rooms are simple with no luxuries, but beds are comfy and there is plenty of storage.

This is an excellent hotel, friendly, welcoming and helpful. The rooms are well laid out and the buffet breakfast is great. There is plenty of secure parking. We very much have enjoyed our stay. The walk to the city centre is about 15 minutes and rather pleasant. There is plenty to do in Oldenburg and lots of good restaurants and cafes.

I wasn't expecting anything special and I wasn't disappointed :) Have easy parking, nice staff and good breakfast. I am happy. Unfortunately there was no elevator.

Nice stay with tasty restaurant dinner

A lovely place to stay for us to visit Oldenburg & meet up with friends. The spacious room with wood panelled ceiling was pristine, and presented in a very welcoming style. Nice bathroom & lovely design. Sascha was very helpful with arranging access. Top marks for the Oldenburger Mühler!

Easy parking, excellent facilities and the room had everything you could need and more! Room had a king size bed, very comfortable, a kitchenette and bathroom with large corner bath and shower.

Very nice contact. Very clean room. The sight of the mill alone is worth a visit. Should I ever go on vacation in Oldenburg that would be the first address now!

A very nice place to stay for a short trip to Oldenburg. We were very happy with the room. Nice location, nice rooms, friendly and easy handling with the owner. Sufficient parking space available. Delicious breakfasts possible in approx. 300 m distance. We will definitely book again for another family visit.

Our "loft" room was in a separate entrance, but we had secure access at all hours and we enjoyed a spacious room with a sofa, large bathroom, generous closet space, and the option to open the windows. The hotel has a market next door and is within walking distance of other conveniences such as coffee shops, a beautiful local park, and the train station, or a very short bus ride to the station and...

The loft room was in a nice quiet area and very spacious. Staff at reception and breakfast were all polite, helpful and happy. Thankfully their English was very good as well. Great hotel in a great city.

This new hostel is really nice! With a five minutes walk from the railway station it offers a fresh and spacious stay. An excellent buffet breakfast is served, with some extra's on Sundays. The restaurant I'll test a next time. Very good in short with spacious and quiet rooms and large showers. Just a must!

Friendly welcome in a new, modern house. We spend more stays in Oldenburg and know inexpensive hotels. When it comes to cleanliness, they could learn a lot from the youth hostel. Extremely clean, spacious rooms and a great breakfast cannot be beat in our opinion. And if the car cannot be parked directly at the youth hostel, there is a large parking lot in the immediate vicinity for a small fee of ...

Surprised no ironing board or iron?

We enjoyed our stay at B&B hotel Oldenburg. The staff were friendly and accomodating, parking was convenient and secure and it was a short walk to the lovely town centre. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed. We did not have breakfast as we needed to go into town in the morning and there was a great variety of eating places there.

Hadn’t a reservation with the hotel. The concierge Marina, was courteous, polite and friendly. She placed used in an excellent room. Breakfast included at a reasonable price.
