Great room. Staff was very friendly. Good breakfast. The location is amazing at the end of a pedestrian street (very quiet) and walking distance within minutes to Paderborn centre.

A modern hotel very near to Centre. Due to location tucked away from view as next to a church and St Vincent's hospital it was very quite. It is completely functional with out extras so no coffee machine in bedrooms etc but clean and pleasant Breakfast was fine with a nice selection available Less than 10 min walk to cathedral and local things of interest

This hotel is amazing to say the least. The staff are super nice! Rooms are clean and comfortable. My “coup de coeur” is the breakfast: a great variety of crunchy tasty bread and pastries .. everything you can find there! Location wise is perfect, 5 mins walk to the centre. I’ll be back again!

Great receptionist and breakfast served. I am disappointed to report that the cleaners on duty on the 11th of September 2023 failed to clean my room located on the first floor. They saw me in the morning going out only came back to meet the wet and used towel, no shampoo or toiletries replaced, and dressed the bed with dirty bed sheet and duvet. I suspect it is a racist thing. Shame on the cleaner...

A good hotel in Paderborn center. The service is kind and friendly. The rooms are a bit old and needs some renovation, but within the standard. A small private parking is available, but nearby you also find some public ones.

Clean, lovely cool room due to the air con. We were influenced to book this hotel because the room was a good size and it was nice not to be tripping over cases. Comfy bed, good shower and good selection of foods for breakfast. Underground parking available.

This hotel is our preferred choice for stays in Paderborn. The city center location is important to us, and everything else is just right.

The airport is very convenient

Rooms were clean and well presented. The sauna and steam rooms were clean and open at reasonable times. Parking is multi story but a little tight. Breakfast is a little expensive but lots on offer for the guests. The restaurant doesn't have a great deal on offer in the evening but there are many restaurants nearby to satisfy all your cravings. The staff are pleasant and very approachable

The hotel was clean, the rooms were of a good size and well organized. The Breakfast was amazing, loved it. There was a lot variation and also the possibility toke take it to go. The location is amazing, there is a beautiful parc nearby and many restaurants a few steps away.

It's good position and good sight-seeing but air condition didn't work and employee just said 'I'm sorry' and I had to sleep and sweat all night due to hot weather even hotel.

This is a quiet, charming, and elegant historic setting and accurately noted as a 4-star hotel. Everything is well cared for. We found the hotel staff friendly and helpful and would love to return if ever in the area. We enjoyed a lovely and generous dinner our first night. We cannot think of a single criticism.

I spent one night in this hotel during a business trip. It was enough to come to the conclusion this is indeed a very good hotel. Both the breakfast and dinner were great, I spent some time in the sauna downstairs, another pleasant experience and I found the staff friendly and professional. Waldhotel Nachtigall is located in a quite part of town, not far from all amenities.

Breakfast is now extra and during the pandemic you have to ask for everything including daily room cleaning.

Realy really nice superb hotel, room perfectly clean, stuff very nice and always welcoming, the environment is very quiet, green area but the are 2 groceries just around the corner, breakfast wide variety and good quality, all in all this is what I call a real hotel. It was really a relaxing, pleasure time being here. I can recommend it honestly.

Excellent breakfast, clean room.

I didn't stay overnight, but went there for breakfast on the weekend. I saw an advertisement and visited. It wasn't great, but it was good enough for a leisurely weekend breakfast. Having breakfast at the hotel made me feel like I was on vacation, which was nice. I'll go back again next time to change my mood.

Nice business hotel The room was comfortable but the air conditioning or the fan did not work so the room was very warm and stuffy. The dinner in the restaurant was exceptionally good.

From the train station one needs to take a taxi to reach the hotel. I stayed on Corpus Christi and so all the surrounding attractions were largely closed and there was no reception either! However, when I checked-in the day before, the receptionist was superb a lady with a very helpful manner and great sense of humour too. My room was very clean and suitable for a short stay. Friendly atmosphere, nice service, very simple room with everything you need. Typical for a conference hotel of a social institution. Very good location but my room faced a major intersection. The room door was very heavy (fire door), inappropriate for a disabled friendly home. A big surprise was the breakfast buffet with a great selection, e.g. excellent baked goods from a local bakery.

If you are only looking for a comfortable place to sleep. Get late in bed and want to sleep only till 8. I recommend the Hotel. If you are looking for a place to relax, I don't. Very early check out and at 8 it's beginning to get very busy and loud. The room was very clean and comfortable but also a little muffy.

The hotel is simple and clean. The rooms are small, however, they are practically furnished. The breakfast is also nice for several different tastes. The hotel is located not far from the city center, which is reachable by foot. In general, it is a good price/quality.

Not worth recommending, I didn't get the full amount as an invoice, which I had already paid via PayPal PAL. Very unfriendly. I travel all over Germany for work and won't book anything like that again! Never again!

I stay here every time I go on business. The beer at the bar is very good.

The hotel room is clean and very comfortable! The front desk staff are friendly, the transportation is very convenient, and the price/performance ratio is very good. It is highly recommended and will stay again after getting off.

The room was very large and very clean. Breakfast was everything you could need, served as a buffet downstairs in the bakery. We felt comfortable. We'd be happy to stay again.

The room is modern and cosy, furnished and the bed is really comfortable to sleep in. There was nothing wrong with the cleanliness. The furnishings are simple, but everything you need is there (including a hairdryer). The hotel is a bit outside the city centre, but there is a free car park and a bus stop to the city right outside the door. The only problem is that the reception is not regularly manned...

Nice experience and very good hotel

Unfortunately, check-in was very difficult. There was a lot of confusion about who was responsible for us. Otherwise, a clean and simple hotel with free parking. Good for short visits.

Slept one night at this hotel. Clean rooms, nice personnel. Very quiet location. A bit old furniture, comfortable beds. "Old school" hotel/motel. Some of the rooms are in a flat near the hotel building.

Stayed here for one night. When we got here on Saturday (29.6.2019), we rang the bell as there was nobody on reception. Got a bit tired of waiting after 5 minutes and knocked on the kitchen door. When the owner came to the reception and started booking us in he told us the how much it was and that there was breakfast in it. We also got parking for €5. When we were told how much it was it was €20 more...

This is my go to place in Paderborn. The staff is somewhat quiet but very nice. The ambiance of the main rooms is almost like you are staying in your family’s house. The location is perfect for dining after a long day of work. And my favorite is the breakfast (love their coffee) setting and assortment of food.

Location is fantastic, close to everything. Hotel itself is fairly standard, but it has probably all what could be needed. What makes it special is staff - which is really attentive, very friendly and tries to make you feel well. Central, Walkable, Peaceful Location was incredibly central to Paderborn's "Dom" and right on the Pader Spring/River. Very walkable to city, but also peaceful.

Good breakfast, stupidly placed 230 V power outlets in the room, lots of street noise between 6-8 o'clock in the morning.

We stopped by this hotel for an hour while waiting for our car to be charged. Nice place to have a cup of coffee, tea or a refreshment.

For and event I was attending it was perfect location, only 5 minutes driving way. Rooms are nice and clean, spacious bathroom and comfortable bed. It is quiet area and there is a free parking. Breakfast was okay, nothing special.

Very positively surprised by the hotel facilities. My room was properly clean, and the hotel in general was organised and clean. The gym and spa area are not so big for the size of the hotel, but considering the price charged it’s better than other surrounding hotels that won’t offer the same facilities. Very delicious breakfast and dinner menus in a fine location, no matter if you take a seat upstairs in the gallery or downstairs in the fireplace room. If the weather is fine you can take a seat in the wonderful biergarten right in front of the "Paderquellgebiet". Nice service.

It is little far from the city center, but on the main roadside. However, the hotel would accommodate the early check in with free parking and free breakfast. The breakfast was simple but you could have eggs cooked in a way you like. The only setback was the noise at night from the bar.

A budget hotel at walking distance of Schloss Neuhaus. It is in a relatively quiet street of the neighbourhood's centre, with a church just round the corner and some traditional houses. The single rooms are very small, but the beds are comfortable. The shower is good, the toilets however too close to the wall (taller people have to squeeze their knees in) . Real value for your money. Make sure to announce if you want breakfast in yhe morning... otherwise it might not be available. Wifi was good (especially for Germany).

The management is too polite and cooperative. I was late for check in so I called to the hotel and they kept the key in a secret place and when I reached there around 11 pm I called them. They were too polite and told me the exact location of the key. Cheap and best in Paderborn.👍🏽

I was here for a one night stay so on arrival I was checked in by the receptionist whom was very polite and welcoming, the room (103) was very clean and well presented with a large bathroom with excellent shower the hotel is outside Paderborn but bus connections were not a problem Parking at the hotel was alright with a restaurant car park next door for any overflow

It is 5-6 km away from Paderborn. There is no often public transportation to the hotel or from the hotel. Prices are as high as the prices in Paderborn. Except these two issues, it is clean, comfortable, spacious, modern, pratic but the sink is in the room instead of being in the toilet in the room.

Automated check-in. Rooms are next to an American style diner. OK for a business stop over.

Four of us went here for dinner. The inside of the restaurant was closed, but the weather was fantastic so didn't mind sitting outside. Initially, there had been a surge of orders in the kitchen so we were told it would probably be another 30 minutes before we could order with a 30 minute wait for food. 10 minutes later the waiter came back to order our food so was really efficient. Dining was incredible! The food was traditional with a professional touch to home style cooking. The staff is very welcoming and courteous. The rooms are small (as one would expect), but are clean, clean, clean. I would stay here over any hotel in Paderborn hands down for the warm, welcoming environment. Prima!
