Waldhotel Nachtigall

Our one-night stay was very enjoyable. We received a friendly welcome at reception, with rooms all ready. We had driven directly from London (UK) to Paderborn and the hotel's free, off-road car park was a welcome site, and located just metres from the entrance. No searching for car parking! The hotel's public areas were well decorated, clean and spacious and our rooms were comfortable with all the usual facilities. We didn't have dinner at the hotel. Our time in Paderborn was limited, so wanted to explore the city centre and dine there. Personally, I had not visited Paderborn for many, many years and was pleasantly surprised that it it hadn't changed too much. The hotel is a 15-minute cab ride from the hotel - couldn't face anymore driving - and it cost a reasonable 17 euros (for a party of three). Breakfast was great. Varied with a choice of hot and cold food and drink. All-in-all, the Waldhotel Nachtigall offers friendly and welcoming accommodation, as well as great value for money. We hope to return to Paderborn and, upon doing so, would have no hesitation in choosing this hotel.

This is a quiet, charming, and elegant historic setting and accurately noted as a 4-star hotel. Everything is well cared for. We found the hotel staff friendly and helpful and would love to return if ever in the area. We enjoyed a lovely and generous dinner our first night. We cannot think of a single criticism.

Positief : Mooi hotel, goede kamer, goede bedden, zeer uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet, alles net, gratis parking bij het hotel. Rustig gelegen. Negatief : té zachte hoofdkussens, ligt buiten het centrum van Paderborn

I spent one night in this hotel during a business trip. It was enough to come to the conclusion this is indeed a very good hotel. Both the breakfast and dinner were great, I spent some time in the sauna downstairs, another pleasant experience and I found the staff friendly and professional. Waldhotel Nachtigall is located in a quite part of town, not far from all amenities.

Wir waren hier toll ruhig luxuriös untergebracht. Freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, gutes Frühstück und das Restaurant im Anbau biete Abends Speis und Trank an. Zimmer mit luxuriösen Ausstattung zu fairen Preisen.Die 4 Sterne sind berechtigt. Parkplatz am Haus vorhanden.

Quiet! Comfy! Satisfying breakfast! Almost in the woods! Very good prices for what it offers!
