Lovely clean friendly near the town center very enjoyable

Stayed for 1 night in the family room. The room was clean and well managed with beautiful view. 👌 Even though it's a small hotel, the staffs were well trained and very kind. Be aware that there's no elevator in the building. Also, can access to town center in 5 min. by driving.

Booking at short notice is no problem. Nice rooms, good breakfast. Parking spaces directly at the hotel.

When in Plettenberg, I always stay in this "Kino" hotel. Very kind personel, better than average food, nice rooms, perfect price. Noone wants more. Best hotel in Plettenberg in my opinion.

This hotel is very clean and hygienic. I like it very much. It is like a castle. The service is also very thoughtful. It is very quiet at night and not noisy. The breakfast is also very delicious.

This seems to be a relatively new place directly next to the Atterhöhle-cave. It has modern conference facilities, a decent restaurant especially for buffets, very spacious and modern rooms as well as a bowling alley. The only downside was that they had to close the outdoor terrace at 10pm despite no real neighbors next door. Otherwise highly recommended

The landscaping and architecture are most impressive. The hospitality was charming and the staff were kind and helpful.

Unfortunately, our expectations were exceeded. The breakfast was plentiful, the beds comfortable and the area beautiful.

The bathroom was clean, but lots of house spiders who also felt at home there. Shower comfort is just sufficient. Breakfast and service is good. Overall, the price-quality ratio is fine.

Incredibly friendly and cozy here... The food is really delicious, especially the salads... The rooms and the house are very rustic and therefore extremely comfortable... The scenic view and this idyll let you relax very quickly come... The hospitality of the Weber family is really nice... You feel very welcome here 😊

We have stayed at Haus Berghoff from April 19th to 21st, 2022. We traveled as a couple with a child of primary school age. The house is idyllic and quiet. We really enjoyed that. The reception by Mr. Berghoff (junior) was very taciturn but nice. He doesn't seem like your typical host but that was fine with us. We were escorted to the room and everything was explained to us. Very nice apartment in a very quiet location with a great roof terrace and a view of the mountain and horse meadow. Great breakfast and very friendly and helpful hosts. The wellness area is about a too small when fully occupied and the cooling pool was only filled up to calf height. Daa could be better. Still, we'd love to come back.

We stayed with a couple of friends (5 in total) in the vacation home nearby Romantik Hotel Platte. The vacation home offers plenty of room for 5 people. Great Rooms designed with some african decoration and so is the hole Hotel. I was fascinated by it. The only bad thing is that there was no cleaning service for my room , since i stayed for two nights i needed a change of towel unfortunately that service wasn t provided . We were visiting and looking for a place to stay for one night. The furnishings are old, but everything worked, it was clean, and the bed was very soft and comfortable.

I stayed at this hotel last year. Overall, it was okay, for the money you pay, don't expect too much. It doesn't belong to the category of establishments I would rate with 4 or 5 stars. Amazing hotel and experience. The spa is beautiful and very clean with great views over the lake. Hotel service was very professional and they were able to cater food for my gluten free & nut allergy requests. Only thing in my opinion that let the room down slightly was the aircon not working, tv was difficult to work and pillows were not great, however still a top stay!!

I visited the hotel as part of a conference to which I also had to take my dog. Fortunately, that was totally unproblematic, as dogs were allowed in the conference room. The food was great, the room was very clean, the staff was very friendly and very accommodating. Due to the location you could always take a short walk in between. Highly recommended, even without a conference.

A very nice, clean, and unique small hotel. The location is also great as there is a forest next to the hotel which is perfect if you love nature. I went for a jogging there and it was relaxing and quiet. Books are everywhere in the hotel, also some are in English. They have a small sauna at the hotel if you need a time to relax. Highly recommended.

Location, interior and service are very good. Reception is bad and Wifi is mediocre, but not exactly required features for a Hotel based on literature, reading and relaxation. The Literaturhotel Franzosenhohl hits the mark on everything it wants to be.

Had a great 1 night stay booked a forest view room but asked if it was possible to upgrade to valley view receptionist was very helpful and arranged for us to move rooms nothing seemed to much trouble, evening meal was delicious and breakfast was also very good, looking forward to staying here again, peaceful location with lots of walks and close to the town.

Great little room very quiet, just what you need when your travelling with work and feeling tired WiFi has a great connect and location is good to grab a bite, plenty of pizza and kebab shops if you want something quick or restaurants. Hotel was very tidy clean and welcoming.

For me one of the best country inns in Germany. My room, the location, the architecture, the outdoor area, the great kitchen and the excellent breakfast: everything was 1A. Appropriate price-performance ratio. Tidy rooms, clean and all in all okay. Parking spaces can become scarce. Breakfast is sufficient. Pizzeria across the street and a pleasant place with good cuisine next to the hotel.

I stayed here for one night last weekend with a group of 6 men on a bicycle tour. For our purpose this was exactly the right place. Self-check-in, late arrival, secure bike garage and a good breakfast buffet deserve a good review. One problem with one of our 3 rooms was dealt with in a professional manner, even so there was no staff on site. Overall good value for the money!

I liked the tastefully renovated old premises. The room was spacious and very comfortable. It’s an interesting hotel with a history and has its own special charm. The breakfast was excellent, a huge choice of everything, fresh veggies and fruit.

I love the style of the hotel and the staff is very friendly. The bed is a little bit noisy and the walls are somewhat thin but that is not a problem. The breakfast buffet is very delicious, a lot of choice and also healthy options. We also fancied the bar, many choices for good drinks.

The hotel is ok, a bit old but it has some “charm”. Don’t expect luxury but beds are good. DO NOT dine here. For the first time in my life I had to send the meal back to the kitchen. It was inedible.

Interesting hotel main building with period decor, even a suit of armour! Rooms are in a modern wing and are good. Service is very good. Food is good but if you are a vegetarian, like me, be aware there are only 2 choices so if you stay 3 days or more..... Also no restaurant or bar service from 10am to 5pm. I appreciate how clean and quiet this place is, and that it has good internet as well as a comfy bed and a spacious room. The location is also great in walkable distance from the rail station and city dentre near to the places where I needed to be.

Best points - breakfast buffet was nicely done and offered good choices. Staff were consistently friendly and helpful. Less good - The restaurant is closed on the weekends except for breakfast. Many outlets but old style round. You need outlet adapters to fit inside a round outlet. Too warm in room even with window open - no AC

Furnished simply and appropriately. Very nice owners and even the dog gets a treat in the bowls provided. Value for money is good. The beds are good for sleeping. Only the shower, which is a bit old, needs to be reworked. The breakfast was plentiful and lots of choice. That can compete with a 3 star hotel. It was even asked about wishes for breakfast eggs. Even with the payment everything worked out...

A great hotel. We recently spent 3 days here to our full satisfaction. Too bad that the hotel was only minimally occupied because of Corona. We had a lovely quiet room with good beds. Breakfast and dinner were also tasty and sufficient. The friendly owner actually knew a few Dutch phrases. In short: Highly recommended!

5 stars and unfortunately we couldn't start our short vacation. We had to cancel at short notice (10 days before arrival) due to my husband's illness. The LiebesGrün team immediately put our date on the "free hut list" and we were lucky. A new rental took place. An email was sent to me immediately and the deposit was notified. I can only say "Top" and thank you very much. We will definitely catch up...
