The manager in this Hotel was very unfriendly on the phone. I wanted to make a reservation for a week, so I asked couple of questions about the rooms which were posted in their Internet site with pictures. I felt she was very uncomfortable to give me the right answers and she hung up the phone on me. So I called her again and she was making excuses that the line was cut off. She was rude and very unfriendly.

Really nice place with a good terrace overlooking a small lake, and the possibility to walk in the nearby park.
The breakfast was fantastic, and the service very kind and friendly..
Good free parking in from of the hotel, and lots of spaces, next to the hotel

Facilities and room were in great and cosy condition. Breakfast was awesome with lots of dishes to choose from. The property is located very close to nature and hiking trails, but the old town of Plön is still easy to reach by walking, which is especially very nice if you choose to do a little detour and walk along the lake.

The place is a newly built building in a quiet area, and it is clean. The bed was so comfy.
The housekeeper did not do her/her job very well because the toilet was still dirty, they just emptied the trash bin.
There was no teapot(kettel) in the room, so no hot water.
The reception is closed from 8 pm till 7:30, no one is there so if you need help, well... Do not count on them. I left my key in the room, so I had to stay outside from 12 am to 7:30. Of course there was a phone number to call, but after calling the voice mechan talks Jn German which I do not understand.
How irresponsible they could be!

Modern and tastefully furnished. The staff are friendly and helpful. We were in the studio, great and very comfortable. Breakfast with a view of the lake - gladly again at any time.

We were given room 1, which should not be a room. You can see in the photo - it has many windows all looking at the parking lot of the hotel. You can't open the blinds at all as people are always walking thought there.
Right across the parking lot is a very busy road, so you can hear cars and trucks passing by all the time.
If you get lakeside view rooms, I'm sure this place can be a nice experience. If you get room 1 or some other side-view rooms that look into the parking lot... then not so much.

I waited for the 5-lake trip and treated myself to a cappuccino here.
Very relaxed atmosphere, good-humored employees and fun.
The cappuccino was delicious.
When my family arrived, I had another drink straight away.
I can only recommend Café Fegetasche.
