Nice place in the middle of a beautiful landscape

The Location view and hotel itself are nice, but the service and the breakfast are not worth what we pay for.

Very helpful staff, when they are available. The staff are gone in the evening, as the hotel has no dinner available. The trouble is that the other 2 dining places in this town were fully occupied, so we had to get in a car and go neighbouring towns to get some food... The hotel has a good cakes selection. WiFi is not great, but usable. The rooms could use some renovation.

Freindly, outstanding cafe, lovely breakfast. The rooms are a bit 70s, (I actually liked that) but lacked for nothing, and to be honest, as a walker mine was perfect and actually very atmospheric. Nice place. And the bread rolls - heaven!

The staff was very friendly and accommodated all our requests quickly ( e.g extra pillows, missing bathrobe). The breakfast and buffet dinner was versatile, fresh and delicious. Many thanks to the team of the hotel Siegfreidbrunnen for welcoming the participants of the Summer School of the EU MSCA project CLOUD-DOC! The Summer School was of great success. Participants could concentrate on the training programme, could have fun at the swimming pools, and hike in the wonderful surrounding woods.

Rooms are clean and well maintained. Gym was good with several machines, not big thou. No water to drink inside the room, but here we can drink from the tap, I think. What a magical place! I can truly not say enough about how excellent my stay at the Siegfried Brunnen hotel in Grasellenbach was. The staff were all very kind and attentive. Most of them spoke English which was great for me, because my German is nien. The location is stunning in the beautiful Odenwald. There are beautiful hiking trails in every direction and the forest is truly straight out of a fairy...

The breakfast buffet was very good. Great selection of sausage, cheese and juice from the region. It is constantly refilled. You can sit comfortably outside and have a great view. Everything clean and tidy. The staff is very friendly. Lovely again. Reservation is necessary.

How were we guests over the Easter weekend and felt very comfortable. Our family room was nice and big. The whole hotel is very clean and the entire team is very personable and friendly. The breakfast buffet was incredibly rich and delicious. We can confidently recommend the Berghof.

Good, very clean hotel, very quiet location, a bit above the town. The rooms, including the wet cell, are spacious and well equipped. Mini bar is available. The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired. When I'll be around I am happy to be a guest here again.

Great hotel! Very warm hosts who try to make your stay as pleasant as possible. We even had the sauna for private use! The host even cleaned it completely beforehand! Insanity! The breakfast for just €8 was awesome! Everything was really there and everything was always there until the end! We felt very comfortable here and will definitely come back!

Rarely experienced such a nice hostess. Unfortunately, we were not able to use the room due to a burst water pipe that was not our fault. Hostess drove us to a friend's hotel nearby and picked us up again the next day! We didn't have any trouble with it.

I like to think back to 15 months (weekly 1 night with breakfast/dinner) in an idyllic and relaxing atmosphere. Culinary spoiled and well looked after. You get very little for a lot of money - but the nostalgia factor is unbeatable. Very friendly and nice service, just bring time. The Äppler is a matter of taste, unfortunately I don't like the aftertaste. Food is also not cheap, but very good. You should make sure that you book through an online portal, otherwise - as with regular guests - you will be charged almost double the price.

Haus Irene is a super cute family-owned hotel. It is in a very nice location, the rooms are clean, the breakfast is small but nice and there are nice lounge areas inside and in the garden. Thanks to the extremely nice staff, it almost feels like you're visiting friends. Highly Recommended.

The hotel has very friendly and thoughtful service. The rooms are not ultra-modern, but very comfortably furnished. Everything is very clean. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. It is a shame that the in-house sauna could not be used due to the corona. I didn't expect that because the Odenwald-Therme on the opposite side was in normal operation.

I'm there very often and it's beautiful there and just the way I like it. Lots of wood everywhere and super cozy. Landlords are very welcoming and I always get vegan dishes specially prepared for me, and they are always top-class. Would recommend everyone to stay there… Thanks to the whole team including the many 4-legged friends that can be found there....

Visited the restaurant here. They have a small but excellent menu. Accordingly, the food tastes very delicious. Definitely recommended if you're in the corner.

Beautiful old courtyard with a rustic restaurant and nice seating in the courtyard. Nice and friendly owners. Rooms simply furnished and clean. A real old-fashioned hotel, with wooden beams and a tile stove and everything. The room was good (top floor) but breakfast was a bit simple. Good enough for a business trip.

One of the best hotels I visited. I had a lovely room. Eventhought I am tall and the ceiling was lower in the 3rd floor I myself quite enjoy the overnight stay. Breakfast was really yummy. :)

I attended a seminar in the hotel. The food was delicious and the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful :-) Parking around the hotel was good as well and I didn't have any issues in finding a parking spot for my car !

It's very clean and the staff is really friendly. My room had a bath tub with was wonderful. As the other guests mentioned the rooms may be lacking some comfort in a sense that I didn't feel as warm and homely as I like to in a hotel. However the rooms are spacious and provide every necessity. Please add some vegan options to the breakfast menu though.

The hotel is in a beautiful area. Our host was very welcoming and helpful. The “spa” room was amazing. We ate dinner at the hotel and our server, Gianna was very helpful in translating the menu and explaining the dishes. Her recommendations were very good! She also answered our questions about the school and health systems of Germany.

This is a cosy little hotel with an excellent location right on the square of this charming part of the old town of Heppenheim. If you plan to come by car, there is a parking area at the hotel, but to get there is rather tricky. I had to park a distince from the hotel, and walk and ask the friendly staff how to get to their parking area. (Google Map or my navigation the car had no idea ...) I will...

Goldkind is part of the Goldener Engel, where they also serve breakfast (totally okay). We had a very nice attic room. It was a great location in the old town. It was beautifully furnished, and everything was clean. It had a view of the vineyards and castle. Unfortunately, there's no elevator, and it can get a bit warm and stuffy in the summer.

Outstanding accommodation in the heart of Heppenheim. The apartment is very spacious and modernly furnished, it is well maintained and leaves nothing to be desired. I would also like to mention the friendly welcome and the courteous service as well as the varied breakfast buffet.

The attic apartment “Silva” is simply a dream. Beautifully stylishly furnished, very spacious and there is actually everything you could wish for. The Golden Angel's service is excellent and the staff are friendly and funny. The kitchen also scores points in all areas. Thank you for everything!

Good hotel with spacious room and bathroom, clean comfy bed, welcoming staff. Easy access to old town centre by foot and plenty of parking (although it was not obvious how to get there). We also appreciated a good breakfast choice and quality, even though we seemed to be the only residents that day. Recommended.

Great Location near to Station and City Centre First time here and will certainly use again due to the convenience of location. Has a great breakfast, rooms are spacious and only downside is the lack of lift to the upper floors.

As Heppenheimer citizen, I would like to Express today, praise to the HALF-MOON. The beer garden and everything that is served there is very good up top. So, it's up, thank God ! But, now something that belongs in my opinion to the "operational blindness": If not edge on the B3 at the HALF MOON pass, you might believe, "is closed" ! Entrance door, no flowers directly in front of the door or any note...

Repetition in the very positive atmosphere. How long have we been coming to the Bacchus Hotel in Bensheim? More than 15 years? Perfect service, quality and contact with staff. Very special how things work here. We feel very comfortable here, even though the hotel is a business-oriented place. The individual does not suffer from this at all. The rooms, parking and (super!) breakfast are fantastic.

Did not like that breakfast was an additional 20€ charge per person. Could not even get a free coffee. However, we enjoyed our stay, staff was excellent and we would stay here again.

This is a fairly basic hotel in a great location. We chose it due to its proximity to Frankfurt airport. It’s only about 20 miles from it and was an easy drive after an overnight flight. The staff was very friendly. The hotel seems very well maintained, but did have a musty smell in the hallways. The rooms are fairly basic but have everything ones needs. The mattress was somewhat firm for our liking...

Stayed at the Hofgut Dippelshof for a number of days with a large corporate group. This was my first visit to Germany and the stay was fantastic. Location was great for our team-meetings. And the meals were works of art that tasted beyond good. Thank you to the staff as well!
