What a magical place! I can truly not say enough about how excellent my stay at the Siegfried Brunnen hotel in Grasellenbach was. The staff were all very kind and attentive. How were we guests over the Easter weekend and felt very comfortable. Our family room was nice and big. The whole hotel is very clean and the entire team is very personable and friendly. The breakfast buffet was incredibly rich and delicious. We can confidently recommend the Berghof.

Great hotel! Very warm hosts who try to make your stay as pleasant as possible. We even had the sauna for private use! The host even cleaned it completely beforehand! Insanity! Rarely experienced such a nice hostess. Unfortunately, we were not able to use the room due to a burst water pipe that was not our fault. Hostess drove us to a friend's hotel nearby and picked us up again the next day! We didn't have any trouble with it.

You get very little for a lot of money - but the nostalgia factor is unbeatable. Very friendly and nice service, just bring time. The Äppler is a matter of taste, unfortunately I don't like the aftertaste. Food is also not cheap, but very good. You should make sure that you book through an online portal, otherwise - as with regular guests - you will be charged almost double the price.

One of the best hotels I visited. I had a lovely room. Eventhought I am tall and the ceiling was lower in the 3rd floor I myself quite enjoy the overnight stay. Breakfast was really yummy. :)

It's very clean and the staff is really friendly. My room had a bath tub with was wonderful. As the other guests mentioned the rooms may be lacking some comfort in a sense that I didn't feel as warm and homely as I like to in a hotel. However the rooms are spacious and provide every necessity. Please add some vegan options to the breakfast menu though.

We slept in a queen-sized bed for two nights and had breakfast, apart from that we did not spend much time in the hotel. The bed was confortable, the rooms very clean and spacious. The shower works well and is supplied with a soap dispenser, as is the sink. The breakfast was great! Everything worked well, though the price was a bit high (coming from abroad). The first encounter was not good but this is where customer service with a heart comes in. I had a double booking with an error and one colleague was not the friendliest. The manager correct this. The location is average, 1 hour drive from Frankfurt, the window is small and the room is not big, the breakfast is average, and it is more crowded on weekends.

This is my favorite hotel and restaurant in Darmstadt. You can certainly stay at a more modern and fancier hotel than this, but the Bockshaut is right downtown, and kind of charming. The restaurant is excellent! I do indeed feel that this is the best restaurant in the city. The owner takes an interest in his guests and makes sure they are well taken care of.

I come here once a year from USA this is the highlight of my trip I look forward to it all year especially the goose around Christmas. Always get the house special you won't be disappointed. The sauce (gravy) is better than the 5 star place my wife worked at even she agrees.

For my first visit to Darmstadt, this was a great location. It's an easy walkable city with much to do. Scooteres to get out to lab where I was working and it was nice to just scooter back at the end of the day, grab dinner at one of the many restaurants on the block and relax among the people. Really enjoyed the room and accommodations.

This location is an oasis in the city center, where you can connect to any destination and return to the airport. It has everything necessary for 2 people to sleep very comfortably and wake up with all the best food and shopping options.

The receptionist who handled my check in at the next door hotel was very polite and professional. Good property, close to the train station but small rooms as you can expect with Moxy. We traveled with our baby so the room was super tight with the baby bed. They ran out of bottles of water but staff are friendly and helpful so they refiled our bottles.

All in all, it's pretty okay. The rooms are furnished in a typical Moxy style, with modern decor. Just a quick note: the walls are very thin, so you can hear a lot from your neighbors. It's only about a 10-minute walk from the train station.
