Beautiful location and view from the room. Very nice staff. Good food and cake.

Food was good. But service poor and slow. It took them 15 minutes and me waving my hand before they even took my order for a glas of water, and finally bring me the menu for food. Service people were clearly not overworked but simply appeared not to be interested in servicing their customers seated inside.

Very lovely hotel. With suites that have a amazing few of the Schalkenmehrer Maar. Breakfast is good. Really delicious cakes and the dining meals are very traditional with modern touch. The service and personal is friendly and helpful. We will visit it again Highly recommended 👌 👍

Excellent food. Single room and bed a little small but very clean.

Stayed in a timber wagon (Schaeffer wagon) for one night, with friends. Atmosphere was great, breakfast included was great. Town was sleepy, pretty, very green, quiet. Had amazing dinner of traditional German food with local game (some nice veg options, too)

I had a wonderful holiday in the Vulcaneifel thanks to my accommodation Auszeit am eifelstieg but also thanks to the restaurant Berghof. Great location and very nice staff. There is also kids club and the entertainers were amazing. There are plenty of opportunities for hiking and sightseeing. Mosel is also close by. The bar was great and so the restaurant. They serve some great local wines. Breakfast was exquisite. There is also swimming pool, open from early to very late. Mini golf and a wonderful playground for kids.

Das Komfortzimmer war spitzenmässig . Personal egal welches super freundlich und hilfsbereit ich habe mich wie zu Hause gefühlt und würde jeder Zeit wieder anreisen. Daher kann ich auch die vielen negativen Bewertungen nicht verstehen. Auch vom Essen her war alles super ordentliche Portionen manchmal schon viel zu viel aber sehr schön angerichtet .

Via Neckermann geboekt, 2 dagen betalen, 3 dagen verblijven. Awesome place, great breakfast. Beautiful area. The playground is fantastic and has a zip line. There is a rail connected right to the property. This is a can't miss for nature lovers and a great home base for exploring the Rhineland palatine area

Das Hotel liegt sehr schön; schöne Anlage; schönes Schwimmbad. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich wenn auch gestresst. Unterkunft und Wäsche waren sauber. Ferienhaus Kastanie ist sehr alt, dunkel, muffelig - muss unbedingt aufgehübscht werden. Für ****-Preis erwarte ich mehr als **-Unterkunft (Hund bezahlt extra). Das Abendbuffet hat uns gar nicht gefallen. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut.

Breakfast was amazing and the staff was very nice. We got a corner room with no view though so we didn't feel like we really got the experience.

Nice 4* hotel with friendly staff and great spa & welness

This is a beautiful hotel, completely tranquil and relaxing. We had a half board deal and were served a delicious four course meal each evening. It was excellent value for money. There's quite a small swimming pool but it was never crowded when we were there. We also used the sauna and jacuzzi. The scenery is stunning.

We are there a week,are well received by the hostess herself.every day super breakfast and in the evening a dinner that is definitely worthy of a star. The staff there is not too much for a little explanation bi the daily newspaper. Definitely recommended and nice wine please be sure to check the wine list,it was a fine experience,would say do so on grtj.

A romantic hotel in an old castle/manor was perfect for my visit to the Nürburgring as our previous trip we had stayed in Nürburg and accommodation choices are limited so my wife and I were both happy. The Nürburgring is around 20 minutes drive along a scenic road from Daun and parking is available free at the top of the hill with the hotel. The hotel overlooks Daun and is full of historic memorabilia...

Bare-bones room and no amenities such as breakfast during weekdays, which could be a Corona thing, I suppose. Good value for money nonetheless.

The service here was really great I found. The only problem was that the restaurant is disturbingly full of flies. Food and room was fine, nothing to write give about but comfortable enough.

Lovely hotel! This was the best possible hotel my wife could have organized for our Easter trip in the Eifel. We spend there 4 nights. For a 3-star hotel, it offers a standard a lot of luxury hotels should learn from. The room: + nothing special, bit very cozy and bright + the bathroom is well organized + the cleaning service was very tidy + sunny balcony with a nice view - no fridge in the room though...

Very nice, big house with many rooms on the outskirts of Manderscheid. We went hiking there and were spontaneously welcomed in a very friendly manner. The footpath to the Obebrug is very short and absolutely worth seeing. I really liked it there.

Been a guest there for a long weekend, motorcycles could be parked inside, a very warm welcome by the (Dutch) hostess. A neat breakfast with daily fresh rolls, even when there were only 4 guests, the breakfast was fine, just like the dinner, no haute cuisine fuss but every evening a good tasting dinner with a good house wine. Friendly reception with good hiking tips. Rooms are clean. The only disturbing point is that in the morning around the stairwell there is a strong smell of cold smoke because smoking is allowed in the dining room. This then moves into the stairwell and is extremely unpleasant if you want to have breakfast.

This location is on the Eiffelsteig and is therefore very suitable for walkers. The rooms are a bit dated but real walkers don't care as long as they are tidy and they are. We had a room with a view of the castle which was an additional plus. We were not satisfied with the food.

Had a wonderful stay with Mike! Nice clean rooms, nice bed and a fantastic breakfast with bread from the bakery. Mike is an all-rounder (even if you need a technical hand with the engine 😉).

Stayed here for 2 nights on a motorcycle trip last weekend. Great B&B. Mike is a committed and helpful host. Rooms neat and clean. Good and extensive breakfast. Covered parking for the motorbike. If desired, dinner can be booked at a nearby motorcycle hotel. We will definitely come back here again.

Very friendly and attentive host. He went out of his way to help me. I just stayed one night, but everything was on point. And I got a fair price for being just one person. There was a garage available for storing my bike. Overall, one if the friendliest treatments I've had in Germany in quite some time.

Tasty food, nice location and friendly service.

Couldn't stay here unfortunately because of an overbooking but the owner more than made up for it by putting us up in another place in town and treating us at the restaurant, which by the way was delicious. You can eat on a beautiful terrace overlooking the stream and the food is great.

What a beautiful and great place.outdoor seating is overlooking ponds with trouts. Food is great. Especially freshly caught trouts made into delicious meals. Fun place to visit for families with children and also ideal for hiking around the nature woods.

This was a nice surprise. My room was quite big & clean - I slept like a baby....Restaurant was good....cold beer was better , especially after hilly 10k run. I was amazed by the breakfast room - what a historical treasure trove! Value for money? Absolutely. A boring business hotel would have cost me double. Clearly this Restaurant belongs to one of my favorite restaurants. With very much love the citizens of the tube was decorated and offers a charm to it that I could find until now in any other Restaurant again. By the way the food tastes also very good ;-).
