Food was good. But service poor and slow. It took them 15 minutes and me waving my hand before they even took my order for a glas of water, and finally bring me the menu for food. Service people were clearly not overworked but simply appeared not to be interested in servicing their customers seated inside.

Stayed in a timber wagon (Schaeffer wagon) for one night, with friends. Atmosphere was great, breakfast included was great. Town was sleepy, pretty, very green, quiet. Had amazing dinner of traditional German food with local game (some nice veg options, too)

Couldn't stay here unfortunately because of an overbooking but the owner more than made up for it by putting us up in another place in town and treating us at the restaurant, which by the way was delicious. You can eat on a beautiful terrace overlooking the stream and the food is great.

Some advertised facilities/amenities were unavailable due to a "conference." Unable to use lobby; coffee, and afternoon sweets were "off-limits" although on display in the lobby. We were there as part of a large group that took up at least one entire floor.

Great place to stay if visiting the ring. Highly recommend going upstairs to the rooftop terrace on level 4 for a good view of the circuit start finish.

Beautiful hotel on the outskirts of the city, restaurant and bar was outstanding with the whole crew friendly and helpful. Missing one star due to my room not being able to control the temp and got quite chilly at night also didn't understand why the electric stayed on when I left my room. Normally you have a place to insert your card but I had none.

Actualy spot on!!! Perfect for a group trip allowing off street parking for 2 outside the appartments, additional large carpark on site if you have more cars in your group. Very close to the track, on site spa too!

I’d give this a miss if the weather app shows any days above 28 degrees peak anytime through your stay, too hot with no aircon. Otherwise it’s pretty good and spacious. I think a hotel is still better if you are 1 or 2 people. I’d also request a villa without steep driveway if you got a low car as my car have light scrape when reversing up it.

Hotels are expensive so the hotel is a good option on a budget (paid Euro 89 incl breakfast) Rooms are standard and the buffet breakfast basic but for the very central location and price was more than sufficient for a 1 night stay. A bit dated, and no AC, but clean, comfortable, charming, and they serve a nice breakfast. The location is perfect! Wine tastings are free for hotel guests, and the terraces are reserved for guests, so there's always room to sit and enjoy the scenery.

We had an amazing 4 days here. I love the fact that only hotel guests can use the terrace - there was always seats for view over the river 😍 We forgot our passports and Bernd was amazing and sent them directly to us and was good in assuring us that they were on the way. I can’t believe the poor reviews posted on here! It’s a 14th century hotel in rural Germany. It doesn’t have some modern ammenities like an elevator or lift for stair free access to every room. The building is old and that’s part of the experience of staying here. Also keep in mind you’re traveling to rural Germany? Take it as an opportunity to learn some German or at least try. The hotel is clean and nice with an attached restaurant, but there were quiet a few things which i didnt like. For some reason the blanket was small, which for a 6 footer was quiet problematic. The food had Dry vegetables in salads, breakfast choice was very limited, bad wifi connection, WiFi stopped connecting at 10 while the checkout was at 11. Overall not value for money.
