Cozy rooms but they putted me above main entrance, someone has to smoke down there for the whole night causing a very bad smell in my rooms like sleeping inside car exhaust .. next time its better to take a room with back view

Very nice hotel in the Allgaeu and close to the Austrian border. Rooms are big and you feel the full comfort offered here. Food and service was great at all time.

It was one of the best Hotels I have ever been. Great is everything: the room with extremely comfortable bed and pillows, staff, brilliant dinner and breakfast. We didn't visit Spa and Sauna because of lack of time but we'll do it definitely next time.

Just amazing view and a nice pool! But where's the air-conditioning? There is no air-conditioning at the room? Why? Also it's not a Finnish sauna If you can't throw water into the stove! Please next time give me a water bucket to sauna and let's make it a real sauna! ;)

Fantastic hotel. Extremely modern and well decorated. Facilities incl. pool, small gym, and many saunas. The staff was very nice and I got to fully charge my car for free (Tesla only).

Super! Great one night visit - the room was clean and very nice. The food at the restaurant very good and also possible to get gluten free! Breakfast also had gluten free alternatives and was a good one too! Service very friendly!

I only visited the restaurant part, not the hotel. It's a great restaurant, service is very friendly and fast. Food quality is excellent for the price. The restaurant is quite busy even for lunch so better reserve, especially if you want to sit outside in summer to enjoy the weather. I would become a regular, if I'd live nearby.

This country inn is committed to cooking with fresh herbs. The service is quick and friendly. The dishes are of good quality and reasonably priced. The horseradish sauce from boiled beef could have tasted a little more intense. We would come again.

This is a traditional gasthof in a nice village surrounded by gentle and beautiful coyntrside. It is obvious that emphasis is placed on the michelin starred restaurant, disregarding the hotel part. Simple details like the fact that there was no soap in the bathroom other than a few free samples (sachets, not even small bottles), or that a socket was broken.

Fantastic regional food, fresh and cooked to perfection. As unlikely as it is, this restaurant features a substantial fish selection depending on the catch of the day. I loved my onion roast beef (Schwäbischer Zwiebelrostbraten) and will make sure to visit again.

I am a person who like to eat a lot of salads. Every time I go to this restaurant ,I will always eat salad . The tast of salad is right here.Very friendly service .The atmosphere of the restaurant is beautiful ,very clean. You shoud make a reservation in advance. ( The bathroom was clean)

We had a very good room with a pleasant balcony and a great view. We also had a very good dinner and breakfast - the beet gnocchi in particular was exceptional! The reason for a 4 rather than a 5 rating is that there is no air conditioning or fan. The room was very hot and at this price point at least a fan should be made available.

This hotel blew me away. The view from my hotel room was something else ( Room 44 ) When the guy opened the door, I thought I'd been put in the King's suite. The room was exceptional, this only cost £53 a night to stay in including breakfast. This is the reason I'd sooner take my motorcycle to Germany, rather than book a hotel in the UK. A perfect hotel for a few days to relax. Unbeatable view and great location. Great to go on great hikes from the hotel. Before the hike, you can fortify yourself with a phenomenal breakfast. What a wonderful hotel with very personal and lovely service! We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed every second. It was my boyfriend's birthday and he received a few lovely surprises. The staff is really friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, spacious and quite with very comfortable beds. The only thing one might complain about is the TV which is really small. Great hotel; friendly and professional staff; good breakfast; small, but nice gym and cozy spa facility! The only downside is the train railway in the immediate proximity and the noise of every 15 min passing trains. The hotel is located in a few minutes walking distance from lake Constance (Bodensee). The Lindau island is about 15 - 20 min walk from there. Beautiful scenery and amazing sunsets!

Beautiful location. Friendly staff, and good service overall. Rooms are too warm in the summer, as they don't have climate control. The bathroom is very small, and not well constructed for a Spacey single room. In general the hotel is good, but not 5 stars. 4 stars would be a better rate.

This is our third time at the Starennest, and it won't be our last! You immediately feel completely comfortable and "at home"! The host family and their staff are very friendly and accommodating, and they take their guests seriously. Children are also very welcome.

This place really deserves the title 'resort'. Excellent accomodations, spa, sauna etc. The restaurant serves excellent Italian food. Breakfast served here leaves you completely satisfied! Couldn't have wished for more.

We had a great stay! The view from our room was beautiful, the rooms were clean, and my kids loved the pools. The breakfast was good too.

Rooms are dated. No AC makes this a complete oven at night - next to impossible to get a good night sleep. When you leave all windows and balcony open, there’s people having loud chats until ~11pm. When you call the reception, they tell you it’s past 10pm and there should be no noise, but there’s nothing they can do about it. If so I wonder if I should shout at those guests myself or call police ...

The hotel is in a quiet part of town adjacent to a beautiful park. We had a balcony room and the balcony was one of the biggest we have ever had with a view to the park and hills beyond. The hotel has the best location you could wish for Lindau, with the beautiful view to the harbor, lake and mountains. Being vegetarian, breakfast sometimes can be an issue. Beautiful place with the best service ever! Antonio, the waiter of the terrace, has an extremely good eye for detail and is really service oriented: as soon as we arrived, he welcomed us and accommodated us in a very nice spot followed by some delicious cocktails. We sat in a cafe bar on the lake shore. A beautiful view, chairs with fur, a great gin and tonic, beautiful glasses, a delicious cake, friendly staff and a bowl of water for the dogs. I would just make a bilingual price list / menu. You are a tourist place after all.

The yacht hotel Helvetia is a very very nice Hotel with 5 floors. We were served at the reception very friendly. Also the room was very nice. The rooms are very different. Some are like in a cheap hotel and therefore okay. Others are so low that I can't stand upright, or only in a certain area because the ground is extremely crooked. The bed is lined accordingly on one side so that you don't roll out. When entering the room, I pulled the cobwebs off the ceiling with my hairdo. I'm 2m tall, but still... Other rooms have toilet and shower...
