Cozy rooms but they putted me above main entrance, someone has to smoke down there for the whole night causing a very bad smell in my rooms like sleeping inside car exhaust .. next time its better to take a room with back view

Visited for business, and what can I say, a wonderful gem of a hotel! Fantastic food, lovely surroundings, very friendly and attentive staff. I’m very much looking forward to the next business trip, and visit!

Very nice hotel in the Allgaeu and close to the Austrian border. Rooms are big and you feel the full comfort offered here. Food and service was great at all time.

It was one of the best Hotels I have ever been. Great is everything: the room with extremely comfortable bed and pillows, staff, brilliant dinner and breakfast. We didn't visit Spa and Sauna because of lack of time but we'll do it definitely next time.

Just amazing view and a nice pool! But where's the air-conditioning? There is no air-conditioning at the room? Why? Also it's not a Finnish sauna If you can't throw water into the stove! Please next time give me a water bucket to sauna and let's make it a real sauna! ;)

Fantastic hotel. Extremely modern and well decorated. Facilities incl. pool, small gym, and many saunas. The staff was very nice and I got to fully charge my car for free (Tesla only).

The hotel rooms are set around a lovely garden with a fish pond. The ground floor rooms actually have a little patio that open out onto this garden and it is absolutely charming

Had a cosy & clean single room. Friendly people that try to leave no wish unfilled despite Corona restrictions. I was allowed to park my bike in the garage overnight.

I can't understand anyone who doesn't give the full 5 stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 here. I would even give a 6th star for the warm staff and owners. Hospitality is very important and lived here. Everything spotlessly clean. We stumbled upon this cozy hotel by accident and would call it the diamond of the Allgäu. I only visited the restaurant part, not the hotel. It's a great restaurant, service is very friendly and fast. Food quality is excellent for the price. The restaurant is quite busy even for lunch so better reserve, especially if you want to sit outside in summer to enjoy the weather. I would become a regular, if I'd live nearby.

I was only in the hotel for 1 night. Our room was completely and very nicely renovated. I understand that this applies to all rooms. The breakfast buffet was very good and plentiful (actually surprising for the few guests). The breakfast room was a bit chilly, but that's probably due to the general situation with war and energy shortages (but I totally support that!).

Wonderful small hotel in the middle of town, run by the young owners. Excellent friendliness, you feel comfortable. Extensive breakfast buffet, special requests are gladly fulfilled. Ms. Blank is very nice, helpful and friendly. The house was very cute and clean. We vacationed here in February, the house heating and hot water were fine. There are ski resorts 10-15 minutes away and even a ski school for beginners.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Accommodation in the hotel has been renovated and is very modern and well appointed. The best we had in the 10 day period we spent cycling around the lake. Breakfasts were Ok. Dinners weren't restaurant quality but good enough value.

We had dinner here on our way through town. The food was amazing and the service was wonderful! Our server was Julia. She spoke plety of English and was just adorable. They have free parking. Plenty of seating inside and outside. And it's just a short walk down to the shore of the Bodensee.

Lovely hotel. Staff were extremely friendly, informative and welcoming. Great breakfast with a wonderful selection. Food was constantly being replenished. Couldn’t get the room cool enough, even with “A/C”, for how thick the comforter was. I wish there was a sheet on the bed. The small castle was renovated with great attention to detail, and you can literally feel the history as soon as you set foot in the building. The rooms are very clean and cosy. Very nice hotel in the middle of apple and pear orchards, friendly staff and nice rooms. Especially the bathroom was of good standard. The breakfast was good also.

Stopped by a night for a break because of our baby then we loooooved this hotel. Lovely clean hotel with fantastic view of the lake. As well the fresh Bio breakfast was wonderful. Just a point i hope they ameliorate for the perfection..., i don't mind the size of the bathroom as long as there are a toilette and a shower but it would have been better if there were more hangers on the wall to hang...

Camping has nice facilities for children, nice activities (unfortunately only in German) and on arrival they show you the place to set your tent. Unfortunately its too crowded and we were placed next to many young people playing laud music during the day and after 22:00. When i asked after a day if we can change place i was told to wait at my tent but noone came. We decided to shorten our stay.

I was tent-camping and the campsite offers a spacious area where one can choose the spot he/she wants. Nice bed. Every room is different so the experience can be different for everybody. Is just in the town center and you have a lot of things around: bakeries, cafes, ice cream shop and super market. The breakfast was good but got boring after a couple of days.

It is a nice local place with really friendly and helpfull staff. make sure you arrive before 8pm because you need to get your keys and the reception close at 8pm.

My husband and I stayed here during our two week European trip. It is such a quant little hotel! The workers were extremely friendly & welcoming and offered great recommendations for things to do in the town. Went there for dinner and ordered the Angus burger. The patty was dry, the burger was swimming in sauce, and the tiny salad was drenched in dressing. Would not recommend. The service was good though and the beer garden is nice.

Good hotel and super restaurant

This is one of the finest place for comfort stay in Wangen..cleaned rooms, good and prompt service, very near to the bus and train station.

This location is very convenient and clean. Also it is located near the train station and the proprietor speaks excellent English. The buffet breakfast was good and had a variety of offerings typical of the continental breakfast. I recommend this hotel as it is clean, friendly and the people helpful, always willing to answer questions regarding our visit to this historic town.

bit of confusion when we first arrived but the lady owner quickly arrived and checked us in and was really nice and friendly . room spotless and a short walk from the hotel into the centre of charming esslingen . we were able to keep our motorbike in the hotels garage / the lady had a bike herself ) . all in all a fabulous place to stay and esslingen really nice also

This country inn is committed to cooking with fresh herbs. The service is quick and friendly. The dishes are of good quality and reasonably priced. The horseradish sauce from boiled beef could have tasted a little more intense. We would come again.

This is a traditional gasthof in a nice village surrounded by gentle and beautiful coyntrside. It is obvious that emphasis is placed on the michelin starred restaurant, disregarding the hotel part. Simple details like the fact that there was no soap in the bathroom other than a few free samples (sachets, not even small bottles), or that a socket was broken.

Summarized: Service very good Kitchen fantastic Owners are very Entrepreneurial and know what you are doing, for the benefit of the guest. Rooms and amenities commendable.
