Great - very idyllic, newly renovated, small forest hotel with a beautiful bowling alley. The house is very comfortably furnished and the rooms are new and very clean. wir waren zwar nur einen Tag und das zu Weihnachten da, wurden aber perfekt betreut und umsorgt. und das in einem ganz toll neu umgebauten und renoviertem Hotel. Hier fehlt es einfach an nichts! das Ambiente, die Räumlichkeiten und Zimmer, das Personal- einfach perfekt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Food, as well as hospitality just great

We made a wonderful autumn hike in the Ehrental near Schmalkalden. My students give 999 stars in preparation and hospitality. Warm, nice, child-friendly ... awesome all the staff. We would love to come back. The deer were an additional highlight.

First of all, the restaurant is now closed and according to the boss, the hotel will also be closing soon. The reception was friendly, you can drive up to the barrier-free and covered entrance to unload. The atmosphere is rustic, like the 80s, rooms are OK, but it's very tight around the bed. You can't take off your shoes because there's only one shoe's length of space next to the bed The mattresses...

On the occasion of a family celebration, the five of us were able to experience two wonderful days there. Large rooms with great beds, quiet in the hallway, wonderful breakfast buffet. All in all, the family atmosphere of the Jägerklause contributed to the relaxation. We absolutely have to appreciate the friendliness of these amiable Thuringians. Thank you for everything.

Nice little hotel. So far everything is okay, unfortunately no lounges. No possibility to sit down anywhere as a group, not even outside of meals, in the dining room. Food was ok.

Jaegerklause is still my favorite place to go when in this area. Rooms are clean. The area is nice and quiet and the food is excellent. Even in these harsh, disease stricken times, the stay was great.

Excellent hotel, great hospitality, spacious and very clean, comfortable rooms and very good breakfast. Breakfast was a bit expensive at €13 each: selection is very good but we really only wanted cereal and there was no option for a smaller breakfast.

A cozy and nice hotel in the middle of the town. Soundproofing is good so outside noises are nicely blocked out. A good amount of space in the room and the room prices are not bad.

We booked a night from yesterday to today because we had to attend a funeral. The host was extremely nice, the room very clean and the bed extremely comfortable (firm mattress, but we like that). The decor of the room was great, a small coffee machine, water and a minibar were available. The price / performance ratio was also great, we really felt we were in very good hands and will definitely come...

Hotel is nice, clean, check in is in the opposite side of the street in the stadhotel "Partizer", internet is very very bad, if you have your German mobile you can manage with your 4g, but if you are foreigner-would not be suitable, breakfast is fresh a good. Service is very nice, people are very friendly and supportive. Good restaurant is next to the hotel

Nice house, lovingly furnished and beautifully situated. Unfortunately, some rooms smell very bad, probably poorly ventilated or damp beds. The breakfast was just so. However, the service is very attentive and friendly. And the morning coffee tastes good!

Great place to stay. Rooms are big and cozy, with lot of facilities and services. The place itself has a unique style and the surrounding area is ideal for walks or a hiking.

Very good hotel and staff in the quiet village Bad Liebenstein surrounded by lots of nature and Forrest. Good breakfast and restaurant although the quality doesn't match with the wanna be luxury facade of the hotel. Very nice wellness facilities though. Nice house, great beds and good breakfast. However, I find the statements to guests that reveal a certain Corona-denying attitude problematic. No value is placed on wearing masks, and efforts are even made to ensure that the guests should also leave them out. Really difficult for a hotel ...

What amazing hosts! Friendly, welcoming, informative. The house is beautiful and rooms playful with amazing period pieces. Breakfast was a feast. At least 5 types of cheeses, hams, salami, fruits, veggies and condiments. Not only big spread but also we got the eggs made to order! Did not need to eat for the rest of the day! Thank you guys! My single room was big enough and well furnished. The breakfast was up to standard. The cassette is big, but I couldn't test the kitchen, I had already eaten. The service was quick and friendly and the beer was tasty.

The staff is helpful to a fault, the food delicious, even the alternatives of restrictive diets which are all taken into account, and the rooms are a delight to sleep in. The only shock was having to eat dinner at 6p.m. but there were solutions for if you were peckish after 8. The facilities...

Beautifully situated, great fast service. Thuringian cuisine, full of tasty and brought quickly. Absolutely recommended. Is also stored in the Navi as an intermediate station.

Living hospitality. We were on the Rennsteig and were looking for a double room for one night. The owner not only gave us helpful directions and we were able to get to know a new hiking trail, we also had a very delicious dinner in the restaurant. In reality everything looks much better than on the homepage. Highly recommended!

Schön eingerichtet, Ambiente war schön auch im kleinen Frühstücksraum. Frühstück war einfach gehalten aber es war für uns alles da und wir sind glücklich und satt geworden :) Wir konnten direkt vorm Hotel einen Parkplatz ergattern, auf einem Streifen was aber nicht direkt zum Hotel gehört. Der Geräuschpegel war niedrig, unser Zimmer lag hinten raus. Wirklich sehr nettes Personal :) wir würden wiederkommen

We stayed at Landhaus Machold for a week and we are very satisfied, the room was very large and well-kept, cleanliness is very important. The kitchen is great, despite Corona, everything is done for the guest. The location is nice and quiet and still almost central. We would come back again. We had booked the hotel as a base for our motorcycle tours through the Thuringian Forest. The room and the bathroom were clean, well furnished and technically up-to-date. We ordered some combinations of ingredients to get a meal for our kids and very much tried to get that on our table. Disadvantage is not being able to pay with cards and the closest atm is a 10 min drive by car.

We spent a great holiday there in autumn. You can tell the attention to detail in the service, the room and restaurant equipment, decoration and the excellent menu! Excellent quality of the food, professional service team. As a guest you feel very comfortable here. I can only recommend.

Reasonable price. Bed was big and nice though myself I would have preferred firmer mattress. They have some sort of dispenser for soap, am not expert in hotels so can't tell if this is common...

This hotel is clean, quiet, and comfortable with good food. It is somewhat dated, but to me that adds to its charm.

Very neat rooms, a king's bath. There is no criticism. A very comfortable bed. Quiet room and a large TV. Unfortunately, I couldn't enjoy breakfast because I had to leave at 7 a.m. But if I should stay overnight in Meiningen again, then only in the Hotel Kaiserpark

The staff is just super nice, courteous and open to all wishes and very animal-loving. The rooms are great and everything is clean and kept clean too. We have been there several times and always very satisfied. The location is great, there is plenty of parking space. The breakfast is simply super and rich, is always refilled by the dear Ms. Abt😃👍
