The hotel has its charm, it is a family hotel, and it is evident that they operate it with love. The staff is very friendly and the swimming pool was very good (a bit cold but enjoyable). The proximity to the park is nice, especially with children because the playgrounds are very nice. Hotel is pet-friendly, which is important for us.

We ate the afternoonbuffet at the Rebstock Hotel. The service was excellent, very friendly. The food was delicious and there was a wide variety!

Ok food, ok service for Ok prices. Nothing too special, but then again German cuisine is just that: Nothing too special. Did not stay here, just enjoyed a nice dinner. As such can’t comment on the hotel.

Very good place for vacation. Great owner . We were here for Xmas 2017. The owner prepared a fantastic Xmas dinner for us. Appreciate his hospitality and services. Definitely will come back again.

Very comfortable, quite and clean hotel and rooms. Intimate environment! The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is good. Every morning they gave us tips to interesting places around to visit and tour. Worth the price.

Rita serves a good handmade breakfast. She is very kind, helpful, and polite, and tries to speak English to help the guests, but you should know a little german to get the most from her. The atmosphere is familiar, it's like staying at your grandma's home. Would come back one day if I'll want to visit the black forest again

Hi We, the Blummel couple, have been guests of Rita for a week. We had a nice room with a nice view. Everything was very clean. A good and simple breakfast. A shared parking The hostess was always available for questions. Recommended.

Lovely authentic German restaurant. We were welcomed warmly, despite not having a reservation. The steaks on a hot stone are well worth the short drive from Triberg. Highly recommended.

Best thing first: really, really good food! But, at least at the moment, you gotta bring a lot of patience. Way understaffed, so even placing an order can take quite a while, let alone having it on the table. We weren't in a hurry so we didn't mind at all, especially as we saw everyone was working a s fast as they could, and the food was utterly delicious (we went twice, had Gnocchi, 2 different Pizzas...

The room was spacious, and the door to the child's single bed closed halfway. The view from the window was beautiful. There was no air conditioning, so summer nights weren't hot, but rather chilly. Lovely location. The gentleman at reception was very talkative and welcoming. The pool was nice and warm. The food was wonderful at the restaurant. Our room was very large and the balcony was an added bonus.

Nice hotel with very large rooms and beds ! Our room had a separate area with the double-bed and a separate living room and balcony. The view on the landscape was very cute and relaxing. The receptionist was very kind and shared various tips on activities to do around the town.

It only gets 4 stars for the wonderful young people who served us. The Hotel is located in the central part of the town and has some beautiful features. It’s important to mention that the staff was so so lovely, very friendly and hardworking. As for management, we are not so sure. Beautiful place but needs a little bit more ‚love‘. Excellent old hotel located in a beautiful Black Forest town of Triberg. We got a wonderful large room with a larger bathroom including a jacuzzi bath in the main building. Awesome. The hotel has a great Wellness and Spa area, well designed and all in perfect operational order. Sauna land area is only allowed to be unclothed. Great pool, jacuzzi, many dry and wet saunas, resting area on water beds...

An excellent place to stay at in this small town. Cozy rooms, food at breakfasts is great, good location. Special thanks to the staff, extremely helpful! We needed some hot water late at night twice, they were very nice to get it for us. The only downside is that they don't have an elevator. Otherwise, this is a perfect place. Highly recommend!

Very nice place with large rooms and private guest parking. Enjoy the bar and restaurant at hotel or several other locations within walking distance to widen your selection. Spa and pool help relax the body after a walk to Germany's largest water fall(free to hotel guests) or a few hours of climbing in the trees on a recreational rope obstacle course 15 meters in the air.

My wife and I stayed at this lovely hotel for a week in June. It is in one of the best locations possible. It is very close and just a short easy walk to Triberg falls (the main attraction in town) and it is super close to the main downtown area. The owner/chef, Markus Ketterer, is amazing and provides the best food in town! Plus he is a very nice man. The hotel is really nice and family owned...

Our room was small, but had an additional sunroom off the side. It was nice to look out at the fog on the mountains. The hotel was up quite a steep hill, however. It might not be good for someone who cannot do that climb. It is very close to a beautiful waterfall.

Close to all but no wifi There was an arrow on the door saying to go downstairs, so Entrance was confusing and staff was condescending when we finally got in. And wifi was only valid for 30 minutes per device with no option to purchase more time. But location was great and it was a nice room.

Nice stay Good location close to most places in town. Room was updated and clean. Very close to the waterfall trails. Check in before going to the waterfall to get the pass.

The room was clean and comfortable. We appreciated the friendliness of the hotel staff and the attentiveness at breakfast. Breakfast is simple, but tasty with great options, including hot eggs and bacon. Parking was easy and the location of the hotel is great with easy access to town.

The location is ideal - you wake up the middle of the tranquil black forest. The staff (Beatrice especially) were friendly and had extremely high standards of customer service. The food was amazing (we had dinner when we arrived, which was divine!) and a wide choice for the continental breakfast.

Really nice place to stay. Lovely rooms with a nice table and chairs so you can play games or read comfortably. Comfy bed and quiet at night. Restaurant is nicely layer out with an excellent Italian and German menu.

We spent a wonderful week here. Relaxed and friendly, mien hosts looked after us extremely well. The restaurant had by far the best food we tried in the region. The stream overlooked from our balcony provided a most relaxing background sound. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Very highly recommended!

A very good hotel and restaurant. Rooms are clean and very nice decorated. There is a small welcome basket with fruit. They have very good wines and the food is fantastic. The fish is super fresh caught in the little river behind the hotel.

Nice hotel at the top of hill. It's great if you have a car as it is more than 20 minutes from MarketPlatz. The host lady is very nice and helpful. There is a nature trail which starts on the hill right in front of the hotel and takes you rut o the waterfall. It takes around 45 minutes to 1 hour. You may face issue with mobile network (at least I can say for Lebara) in some rooms. Wifi isn't the best...

Outdated but clean rooms. We had a family room with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. Everything was clean and for a very good price (therefore I don't mind the outdated furniture). I've seen just one person from the staff. We wanted to check out and she kept on the phone for more than 10 minutes while we were waiting. Not friendly! Otherwise I would have given 4 stars.

We had a large 2 bedroom for 4 people. It was comfy, but the furniture didn't match. We had an early train and the receptionist was trying to help us with a taxi but there aren't any available before 7am. The hotel is also on a high, steep hill unlike the other hotels so we had to carry all of our lugagge to the train station, which wasn't fun. Next time we will stay by the train station. This is a great hotel. It is wonderful if you have kids because of the large family rooms, indoor pool, and game room. The owners are very welcoming, and will ensure you have the best stay possible. The other great aspect is the hotel is close to Triberg center without paying the Triberg prices.

This is the most amazing place to stay in the Black Forest!!! The couple that runs it are pure joy. They are so kind, attentive, and generous. There is a kids play set out back. The gentleman removed a bee nest from the playground for my kids and saved the day! There is a mini bar in the room and free coffee available all day. They even took the time to make sure us Americans had still water.....

We loved our stay. It was cozy, welcoming, comfortable and refined. They tidy your room while at breakfast, have homemade cookies to offer with afternoon tea, and the restaurant was superb. The gym equipment was disappointing, however, we would love to come back.

It was an excelent countryside location as a base for travelling in triberg area. The breaKfast and dinner were excelent. The surrounding was beautifull.

Beautiful country B&B with a wonderful restaurant. Their venison stew was amazing! The rooms are spacious and the hospitality was friendly and welcoming. Plenty of space to take a nice walk, get plenty of fresh air and if you’re lucky enough to be there during a local village festival, that just adds to the quaintness of this gem.

Be aware of closed days. You can get a room, but no air conditioning but mountain air and self check in. Breakfast was awesome and owner was great. Town is 10 t0 15 min away, so a bit inconvenient, BUT super quiet and relaxing. Wish the kitchen was open as we heard the food is great.

Absolutely a gem of a hotel! Great design elements, small but not cramped. Great for couples. The town Hornberg is sleepy but quaint, some nice restaurants. Many great walks and beautiful vistas near by. Great breakfast buffet!! The staff are friendly, speak English well and gave good advice for things to do. A place we'll visit again soon!!

Super stay. Big family room very well laid out, great shower and amenities including a kettle and they left some toys for our 2 year old which was greatly appreciated.
