Arrived here in desperate search of accommodation after the place we booked lost our reservation. The staff were very helpful and set us up immediately in an excellent room. Good size, very clean and with an excellent view of the town. Later that night we dined in the restaurant and the food was incredible. My only regret is that we didn't have enough time to try the full menu! Thank you very much...

The Foos is just delicous.Everyone is very nice and you dont have to wait long for your food. If you search a place for everyone. Vegan vegeterian or Beaf lovers. You can even sleep there The rooms are clean. The service is perfect and everything is comfy

Stayed here for a mid-week trip to the black forest. Hotel is easy to find, clean and the staff are very friendly. Room was spacious, with the sound of a small stream and a nearby church completing the experience. Would stay here again.

Very nice location. Beautiful scenery. Very kind and helpful hosts Rooms are spacious. Beds and pillows a little uncomfortable. Only shampoo, hand wash and hairdryer available in bathrooms. Room clean available on demand only as well as new towels. No air conditioning but wasn’t needed during our stay in august. All in all a good experience. Thank you

Lovely hotel We stayed at the hotel for a night, really enjoyed the area around the hotel, saw some deers. The owner was very friendly. We had a lovely meat and cheese platters for dinner.

A very clean, comfortable and quiet place to stay in the countryside. The host was friendly and breakfast was good. From here you have direct access to wonderful hikes, and the lovely town of Wolfach is just 8 minutes away by car (worth a visit).

A very familiar hotel. From the maids to the service staff and of course the hosts themselves, very friendly and courteous. The food is a pleasure every day. The full body massage was very relaxing. The wellness area is also very nicely decorated. However, for many guests, it was rather too small. It also gets very noisy in the restaurants when groups arrive.

A nice hotel in lovely surroundings. Friendly staff, good food and excellent facilities. Well worth a visit. It’s also worth remembering that between 1 and 3pm the hotel has what they call ‘quiet time’. The local railway station gives you plenty of opportunities to visit other interesting parts of Germany, including Heidelberg.

Very nice and cosy restaurant. We had diner and it was amazing. The quality of the food is very good. Also the red Italian bio wine is wonderfull. If you are in the neighbourhood you should try this restaurant. The hotel also looks good, but we didn't stay thé night. Very friendly staff and wonderfull location.

We enjoyed our stay at Kirnbacher Hof. It's a luxurious stay with spa and dine facilities. Staff were super friendly and welcoming. Dining was also great! The hotel has its charm, it is a family hotel, and it is evident that they operate it with love. The staff is very friendly and the swimming pool was very good (a bit cold but enjoyable). The proximity to the park is nice, especially with children because the playgrounds are very nice. Hotel is pet-friendly, which is important for us.

Rita serves a good handmade breakfast. She is very kind, helpful, and polite, and tries to speak English to help the guests, but you should know a little german to get the most from her. The atmosphere is familiar, it's like staying at your grandma's home. Would come back one day if I'll want to visit the black forest again

Lovely authentic German restaurant. We were welcomed warmly, despite not having a reservation. The steaks on a hot stone are well worth the short drive from Triberg. Highly recommended.

Very nicely renovated restaurant, decorated with love. Really great, super nice service with a 2 meter large menu on wheels! 😂 The homemade spaetzle were a meal in themselves, delicious!! But the rest was delicious too. If we come by again, we'll check back in. 👍🤗

After a hard day of cycling the Krone was a welcome rest are. Very nice clean, spacious rooms, quite and peaceful area, only the cows in the fields around you, farming area. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful dinner in the dinning room. The following morning we had a very good German breakfast with plenty of choice to keep you going on the hills.

Very nice stay at Gasthof Hecht, warm welcome, nice bedroom and very good breakfast. The only thing is that the English version of the website shows an incorrect price of €38 per person and it is actually €44-48. I hope this will be corrected quickly since a 20% price difference to what is advertised is not a pleasant surprise.

Great food and a nice clean restaurant. Ate outside and enjoyed the company. Really good food and friendly staff. Tomato soup and goulash are two items you have to order. Schnitzel has awesome flavor and is tender enough to cut with a fork. Good bier selection. Have a few while u eat then head around and explore the area afterwards.

The room was spacious, and the door to the child's single bed closed halfway. The view from the window was beautiful. There was no air conditioning, so summer nights weren't hot, but rather chilly. Lovely location. The gentleman at reception was very talkative and welcoming. The pool was nice and warm. The food was wonderful at the restaurant. Our room was very large and the balcony was an added bonus.

Excellent old hotel located in a beautiful Black Forest town of Triberg. We got a wonderful large room with a larger bathroom including a jacuzzi bath in the main building. Awesome. The hotel has a great Wellness and Spa area, well designed and all in perfect operational order. Sauna land area is only allowed to be unclothed. Great pool, jacuzzi, many dry and wet saunas, resting area on water beds...

An excellent place to stay at in this small town. Cozy rooms, food at breakfasts is great, good location. Special thanks to the staff, extremely helpful! We needed some hot water late at night twice, they were very nice to get it for us. The only downside is that they don't have an elevator. Otherwise, this is a perfect place. Highly recommend!

Very nice place with large rooms and private guest parking. Enjoy the bar and restaurant at hotel or several other locations within walking distance to widen your selection. Spa and pool help relax the body after a walk to Germany's largest water fall(free to hotel guests) or a few hours of climbing in the trees on a recreational rope obstacle course 15 meters in the air.

Very old fashioned hotel on an amazing location. The hotel is run by a very friendly family, which is already the third generation. Breakfast is simply fantastic with fresh food, reservers tables and lots of hot and cold dishes. The rooms were a bit outdated, the food later in the evening was average. All in all a very nice experience. Looking forward to returning.

My wife and I stayed at this lovely hotel for a week in June. It is in one of the best locations possible. It is very close and just a short easy walk to Triberg falls (the main attraction in town) and it is super close to the main downtown area. The owner/chef, Markus Ketterer, is amazing and provides the best food in town! Plus he is a very nice man. The hotel is really nice and family owned...

Our room was small, but had an additional sunroom off the side. It was nice to look out at the fog on the mountains. The hotel was up quite a steep hill, however. It might not be good for someone who cannot do that climb. It is very close to a beautiful waterfall.

Close to all but no wifi There was an arrow on the door saying to go downstairs, so Entrance was confusing and staff was condescending when we finally got in. And wifi was only valid for 30 minutes per device with no option to purchase more time. But location was great and it was a nice room.

We felt greatly and warmly welcomed by our hosts in this guest house. The atmosphere was nice and cosy and we felt privileged to eat in the antique-decorated restaurant that is now only open to the house guests. My wife and I can only recommend you to stay there if you like authenticity, cosiness and warmth.

Amazing stay in Schiltach! Wonderful hosts, lovely room and great food. Highly recommend you stay for dinner as was a real Black Forest highlight. The town is beautiful too and Rose provided great tips on what to do in and around the town.

We can absolutely recommend this cute hotel. The rooms (as is everything else) are very clean, lovely & traditionally decorated. The owners run the place and were super friendly. (and speak English) Schiltach itself is a dreamy little place. Will absolutely come back again.

Rose is the perfect hostess and Schiltach is picturesque with lots of historic buildings. The rooms were very nice and the amazing hospitality made us sorry we couldn't stay longer.
