One of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed in, technically ultra-modern, everything is very harmoniously coordinated. The restaurant is so beautifully decorated that you want to sit there all evening. Personally, I think the prices are high, but the quality is really good and the food is very tasty. The breakfast deserves 10 points.

Yes, it is an rather „retro“ Hotel and so the sofa is a bit aged. So don‘t expect brand new furnishing/facillities. But it has it‘s charm and is a reminder of the former GDR. The staff is very friedly and helpful and the breakfast is delicious and offers many variations (also vegan milk and breadspread options) and lots of fresh fruit. We come here for the pool, which is the only one of its kind in the whole area. The entrance fee for a family of five (three children) for three hours seems to be rather steep - we paid 50 Euros. Once inside there are two water slides and there is an artificial wave every hour for five to ten minutes in the lower pool. When there is sunshine outside the views are amazing. There is no food or drink...

Old fashioned hotel in remote area. Friendly and helpful stuff. Really enjoyed pool area there: split in two sections, kids friendly, two water slides. Suggest to check out bowling area, very funny, it is not something you come across in regular bowling clubs.

Stunning view, resturants are ok... rooms are very old, colors in the rooms were outdated in tbe 60's however everything function and for the most part comfortable. I guess if you travel here in the winter it is ok, but in the summer make sure you understand that there is no A/C that means it gets hot quickly, but, in the evenings it is nice and cool outside.

Great staff, great amenities, they really helped us out after we risked it all on a package of expired sauerkraut with ham from the penny discount. We really did a number on that room. My friend and I had a wonderful stay here. The bathrooms and rooms were spotless and nice, much better than we got at similar rates in other guest houses I the region. The amenities were top notch and the staff very helpful through our stay when we came down sick and had to extend our stay a few nights they did everything they could to make us comfortable.

When we go to Vogtland for a few days, we always stay at the Postillion. And has been for many years. It's always nice there. We are always amazed by the friendliness of the host family, the lovingly furnished house and of course the fantastic kitchen. Wishes are gladly and courteously fulfilled. We had lunch there on 2 occasions invitation (Einladung von Opa und Oma). Both times we were very impressed - authentic and tasty food, generous portions, friendly service. The open area (with a small swing) behind the restaurant is interesting and great for kids who needs to stretch their legs and let out their energy. We were not in the hotel, but in the thermal baths. This also has direct access to the hotel. As for the thermal baths and especially the salt water thermal baths, I can only say that due to the connection between the old and the postmodern new building, this is certainly one of the most beautiful thermal baths in all of Germany. A very friendly boss, rooms with very good mattresses and clean. Food was okay and breakfast was very good. A small note is allowed, unfortunately the staff did not have their masks on properly. The nose was always clear.

The room was a good size and very clean. The bathroom ok Gladly again! Breakfast? In the absence of an alternative in Bad Elster on Sunday, we had to fall back on the offer at Augustenhof. In Oelsnitz it turned out to be something with a good Sunday breakfast. We could have saved this money in the Augustenhof.

One of best hotel in the region as price/performance. Breakfast is also good enough. The region is perfect place to relax all year around. Spring and fall are the best.

I have mixed feelings about this place. On the one hand, it's very run down and desperately needs a renovation. On the other hand, it's charming East Germany design and super friendly owners are a big draw. If you are okay with a few days of time travel to the past, this is a good choice also because of the central location.

The initial response to our table reservation was rather unfriendly. The food itself is very tasty, but changing a side dish costs an extra €2 (!!). Even a second helping of cranberries (it was just a small dollop on the dish) was charged at an additional €2 (!). We went to the Golden Anchor for dinner as a family. We had made a reservation and received a very warm welcome. All four dishes were attractively presented and delicious. The price-performance ratio was absolutely fine. The service was attentive and friendly. We would gladly return.

Unfortunately, the Miramar Castle is getting a bit old. You could definitely swap one or the other furniture for modern ones. The carpet could also be renewed again. The breakfast is simple. The breakfast room is unfortunately too small, so that when the house is full it can happen that you don't get a seat. The lady of the house tries hard.

Local care, parking lots etc. are not adapted to the present time, but as a rest-searching one is not so demanding.

I am now in my 9th year in Bad Brambach, the strongest radon bath in Germany (good for the skeleton of the body). So far, always in a guesthouse (closed due to the absence of guests (due to corona). So I'm in good hands at the Parkhotel, the service is OK.
