Old fashioned hotel in remote area. Friendly and helpful stuff. Really enjoyed pool area there: split in two sections, kids friendly, two water slides. Suggest to check out bowling area, very funny, it is not something you come across in regular bowling clubs.

Stunning view, resturants are ok... rooms are very old, colors in the rooms were outdated in tbe 60's however everything function and for the most part comfortable. I guess if you travel here in the winter it is ok, but in the summer make sure you understand that there is no A/C that means it gets hot quickly, but, in the evenings it is nice and cool outside.

It doesn't look that good from the outside, but the rooms are very nice and the view is magnificent. Also the breakfast is not the best I ever had. I like that the pool is open some days in the morning, so you can start the day by swimming.

Very Nice place for different šport activities: hiking, biking, skiing, down Hill on bike park... Plus swimming after or before other activities.

Very nice hotel, quiet location, beautiful surroundings. Dogs are very welcome. The room with a balcony was very nice and sufficient. Breakfast: there was a lot of everything, very varied, excellent. The food in the restaurant was very tasty 😋 definitely five stars for that 🌟 Super friendly staff (waitress) The hotel is highly recommended.

The hotel is idyllically and quietly situated on the edge of the forest and has plenty of parking spaces. It is also possible to include bicycles. This makes the hotel a perfect starting point for hikes and bike tours. We were warmly welcomed by the owner and not only received a lot of information, but even a room upgrade. Great staff, great amenities, they really helped us out after we risked it all on a package of expired sauerkraut with ham from the penny discount. We really did a number on that room. Sorry about the flowerbed. Great staff.

My friend and I had a wonderful stay here. The bathrooms and rooms were spotless and nice, much better than we got at similar rates in other guest houses I the region. The amenities were top notch and the staff very helpful through our stay when we came down sick and had to extend our stay a few nights they did everything they could to make us comfortable.

A very cozy restaurant where you can get regional and typical German cuisine. We have great food for very food price. The waitress is really friendly and if you ask her she can give you some recommendations for other places in the region.

The restaurant has very good food, a wide range of drinks and nice, friendly and helpful service. Outside there is a small but nice terrace.

We found the hotel comfortable. The rooms are spacious and clean. We were received very friendly and felt very comfortable. We went to the restaurant every evening and the food was always delicious. And considering that the restaurant was very busy, we didn't have to wait long for our order. We will be back definitely.

Nice inn with a good restaurant. The rooms are big and cozy. Only the furnishings are a bit rustic, which is fine for the price. The breakfast is very tasty and offers a lot of choice. The restaurant is also great for dining here in the evening. Really delicious and very fair priced! Having your own parking lot is also very convenient. The boss is also extremely nice and personable!

Es war super gemütlich, tolles Frühstücksbuffet und auch als das Restaurant aufhatte sehr leckeres Essen! Die Familie ist hilfsbereit und kümmert sich ums Wohlergehen aller. Wir sind auch ohne Auto gut klargekommen und wären gerne länger geblieben. Immer gerne wieder!

When we go to Vogtland for a few days, we always stay at the Postillion. And has been for many years. It's always nice there. We are always amazed by the friendliness of the host family, the lovingly furnished house and of course the fantastic kitchen. Wishes are gladly and courteously fulfilled. We always feel welcome and in good hands there. Keep it up until next time.

We had lunch there on 2 occasions invitation (Einladung von Opa und Oma). Both times we were very impressed - authentic and tasty food, generous portions, friendly service. The open area (with a small swing) behind the restaurant is interesting and great for kids who needs to stretch their legs and let out their energy. In short: - Nice venue - Great Food & Drinks - Great Service - Great for Families...

We celebrated a back-to-school day at the Waldhotel today and it was really great. Super delicious food - from salmon to sauerbraten to dessert and really friendly staff that fulfilled all our wishes, big and small. Many thanks to everyone involved.
